They are also in a Tirpitz and not a Hizen. If the purpose was to just show you don't need a Hizen they may as well have done a battle in a Missouri (if they are lucky enough to have one).

It seems to have affected my Karma as it drops after every battle...... Still too early to say what I think - nothing bad so far.

I swapped to the ModStation quite a while ago just as it was easier to update and seems to update for the latest patch sooner than Aslain's. Was there a specific mod that was on Aslain's that you used that is not in the ModPack? From experience with other games the first thing to remove when the game is unstable is mods - play the 'vanilla' game to see if it's stable on your system first.

Just got kicked from a game and went back to the connect screen. Tried to reconnect and got the 'server unavailable' message. Manage to get in to find we had won. Then got kicked out again. It did manage to reconnect though. Perfect for clan brawls?

I had one from somewhere and for some reason I sold it. Guess what appeared in an Xmas Crate (or a SC I don't recall)? Yes, you guessed it! Needless to say I've not sold it and it gets played for 'snowflake' events.

Could have just received gold?

I also managed to get the Neustrashimy after buying 20 of the largest crates. Last year I got the Fujin and I think I was happier to get that (I already had the Kamikaze and Kamikaze R). I do sympathize with the players who have a lot less ships and got the Makarov - look on the bright side at least it wasn't the Krasny Krym.

Not sure what anyone is supposed to do in reply to this thread. There are no technical details of the machine the game is running on. If it's regularly crashing it could be something on you machine. If it was a basic game problem then more people would be affected by this (which does not appear to be the case). Have a look at the 'event viewer' in Windows it may show what is wrong - there are a lot of errors and warnings in a Windows install so look for the critical errors.

This just sound like a real mess - makes you wonder if it's worth playing WoWS at the moment.

I was thinking the Stalingrad but your post reminded me that the Kitakami may be available at some stage - I don't think it will be 'better' than the Stalingrad but it would be good for the LOLs (need to find that somewhere in the game as it slowly is killed off by WG).

I think it's a bit of optical illusion - the eye is drawn to the numbers under the pictures giving the impression that the calendar is further advanced than it really is (in that the numbers under the pictures are the dates not the ones obscured by them). I think I've briefly thought that several times so far.

Maybe they've just not clicked the 20th yet (in the screen shot)?

I'd just started a battle in my Tirpitz and had a reset - I was expecting to go back to the 'connect' screen but found myself in port. The Tirpitz wasn't locked out as 'being in battle' or anything. Strange things happening on the server.

Taking the French DDs out for a spin can be fun though. A bit like playing the FV304 (the GB SPG with short range but fast gun and speed like a light tank) in WoT.

I had that but after the problems I encountered. I'm not saying it's not connected though. Server hamsters need feeding.

It helps with setting up for an encounter with another DD - you can get your turrets pointed in the right direction as not all DDs have fast turrets. Also, when the cap is contested it points you in the direction of the enemy DD - if they're not moving around they are a candidate for some torps. Nothing funnier to me than a DD being torped to death while hiding in a small smoke screen.

Cherry Blossom, Hermes and Dunkirk - three entertaining operations removed (due to CV rework) and not heard of since.

So, how do you think that you 'just ended in port'? Either a Windows event or some other technical fault happened (try the 'event viewer which can give you an idea on the type of error it was).
