What ship were you in and what spotted you? Was the ship that spotted you also spotted? If you were spotted by a DD that may have remained undetected.

You should have kept that quiet - WG will, probably, want to take such a rare and sought after ship away from you.

All in ranked or randoms - no co-op but that's normal for these missions.

I find the fact that Jingles laughs at his own jokes while telling them to be cringeworthy.

I was getting the delay this morning. I did the ALT+TAB and then clicked on the game WG logo and selected 'exit' - when prompted to exit the game I selected No and the port appeared. So, it's still happening for some. I don't want to install copies of all the clients.

Did you install the game to the program files folder(s) - if you run 64 bit Windows OS then there will be a second one. I made a 'games' folder on my system (e.g. D:\Games) and install games there. Windows can do funny things with the program files folders (started around Windows Vista time),

I found that the game sticks to the 'logging in' for quite a few minutes before connecting. I think the first time this happened today I pressed ESC and then elected to not quit the game and found myself in the docks. Not been kicked out of any game though. Server hampsters may be back from a vodka break,

As WG has decimated operations (nerfing rewards on Narai and removing several of them) my guess is a number of players no longer play operations.

At least when there was a decent selection of operations it was possible to have some variety even if a clan didn't run it (so you have the choice of operations to run). Anyone remember Cherry Blossom (T8 cruisers escorting AI carriers to destroy a base against waves of DDs and cruisers) or Dunkirk (DDs against S-Boats and planes with minefields to keep things moving along)?

I have over 600K coal and the only two ships I haven't got (Salem and the Japanese cruiser) I'm not interested in (I have the Des Maines and Zao). So, new coal ships would be welcome.

I think I first started to do that with Window Vista and also switched off UAC (User Access Control). I don't recall if I switched off UAC for Windows 10 though.....

Looking in the 'crashes' folder I've had a total of 2 - one on 2020/09/28 and another one on 2021/01/01; I've been running mods for a long time. Initially, I used Aslain's ModPack but switched to the ModStation around 12 months ago. I found that there could be a few days before Aslain's was updated while I've not had that problem with ModStation. Game crashes can be caused by the system the game is being run on and how you've 'pushed' your system and the health of that system. If you get lots of crashes in a game you should look to your system and your settings - using Windows Event Viewer can be a help there but there are many warnings that can be ignored. I've also not been installing games in the default program files folder for many years and install games into a 'games' folder on my 'D' drive.

I usually take them out in co-op along with the Bismark I'm hanging onto (because it's the Bismark). The only other silver ships that I still have are the ones that I was awarded again through various campaigns.

Or Tirpitz B, or both!

If you don't have a Tirpitz I'd pick that over the Odin.

They also worked on the RB and the 'balance' of Operations. I bet that they also work on the subs. Either it's one busy person or WG have used cloning to create a number of 'dolly the sheep'.

I had the 'connect' message a few days ago - I think one server goes down or is 'full' and you have to connect to another one. Annoying to lose the stats for the game session.

I think WG has always had some crazy missions in the game. Back when I was playing random battles there were periods when lots of BBs just yolo'd in (more than usual) - sure enough there was a mission going where it was to spot 'n' enemies in a BB.
