WG has gone out of it's way to prove that operations are not popular. They withdrew a few around the time of the CV rework - Dunkirk and Cherry Blossom spring to mind. They also nerfed the rewards from Narai along with attempts to fix the AI pathfinding (which apparently was caused by the code used for CVs path finding). Narai was also taken out of circulation a few times along the way.

Even for some players that would end up with a battle too hard for them to win. Even if they stacked the odds.

Tirpitz has way better torp angles - not a bad ship for such an old ship (WoWS timelines anyway). If I had a choice between the Odin and Tirpitz I'd get the Tirpitz any day. I would pick the Odin over the Bismark though (the Bismark is one of the few silver ships I've retained though).

You don't have to watch the stream just have it running on a computer with you signed in.

I've often suspected that all AI have RL/RPF even though no warning is shown that your direction is known. I've played DDs and even following drastic changes of direction, when not spotted, the AI have changed direction and followed me.

The Blacklist just blocks communication from what I've heard. So, if you don't want to hear from someone just blacklist them. I would presume if putting a player on a blacklist resulted in you never being in a battle with them this would be exploited by players putting good players on their blacklist.

I've heard that having a long ignore/blocked list can cause performance issues. So, I routinely clear down the list apart from several individuals.... WoWS seems to have enough performance issues at times so why add to them.

I recall doing that on my desktops in the past - as I'm 'away from home' I've only got my laptop to play with. I think I used to override the settings for all games I used.

I had a technical problem at one stage and support were helpful and helped me resolve the issue. I must state that in the past I've been part of a technical support team for several mod teams for the Rome Total War series and I know my way around PC but don't claim to be an expert. I've been using PCs since 1993 and have managed to keep my PCs running for many years and have a working knowledge of Windows and problem resolution (once on a new Windows Vista install I managed to get my PC into a loop of fairly constant rebooting and had to get into various Windows 'ini' files to stop the loop continuing). I do know that WG support can be a mixed bag though. I've had someone else's ticket replied to my own ticket which they closed as being resolved. I've also had responses that had nothing to do with the issue at hand (and wasn't an answer to someone else).

I've raised tickets in the past and had them respond to me for someone else's ticket (closing my ticket in the process). I did point that out to them....

I don't recall that but it may have been when I was still playing randoms (i.e. up to a few weeks after the CV rework was released). Those BOTs sound like they would perform better than a lot of the current player base.

I've just noticed that the banner over the web page has changed to Russian. I don't think I did anything to do that.

In post #4 on this thread I posted an image of the URL (it was EU) along with the cryllic version of the premium shop etc.

Players can get RL (current name for the old RPF) on a 10 point captain - if they've not gone for CE. If they've gone for CE then it's 14 points - still 7 points shy of what you're claiming.
