The 'special skill' is that they are 10 point captains. You're paying for those 10 points.

As a starter if you have any mods installed remove them to see if they are causing DCs. I use Modstation and prior to the previous patch I was getting critical errors every now and then but it was getting annoying. I ended up running without Modstation and it seemed stable. Since the patch I've been running through Modstation again and the game is stable. I did have some lag at the end of last week but once I closed down Google performance improved.

Well train them up by using that captain on the tech Tree line? That is one of the advantages of a premium ship in that you can put ay captain from that nation in them. Did you play any of the Italian BBs before buying the premium? If you did that then that is your choice.

How about removing the at to Mr Conway? Maybe we should only be doing this for really essential things?

By the time you get to T8 you should have a 14 point captain - there is no need to choose then. If you've rushed ahead then you need to choose.

That is a standard skill on all my BB captains with enough points - it's been that for a long time as well. I thought all sensible WoWS players did that on a class of ship that can be a HE magnet for certain players.

Because WoWS is a game and not a simulation? When the AL version of the ship came out there were some older reviews that stated the ship came with 'oil smoke' but the ship does not have that. So, not only do you need to read/watch reviews you also have to make sure they are on the released ship. Also there were two premium cruisers released a long time before the tech tree line and they don't have SAP or Oil Smoke. Same with the Leone.

I only play co-op (since a week or so after the CV rework) so I did not vote in this. Personally, arms race in co-op is silly - the AI doesn't know how to use it so why add it. Epicentre was OK in co-op as players tend to push in to get some damage in before the game is over. I know that is not the case in randoms but randoms has it's own problems (I did play some games where a division of BBs hid behind and island and did not push leaving them isolated and they cried for help).

Pingplotter is the start to diagnose problems. I've had problems with latency in WoT before and running similar software helped identify that is was a server on the route that was the problem and not a WG server. It was owned by BT and not WG. I was able to speak to a BT engineer who was able to explain that they were having some intermittent problems. While they did sort it out a month later i had a similar problem but I ended up speaking to BT India and they suggested I turn off my router (which we were using to have a text conversation with). When trying to resolve technical issues it helps if you can run some diagnosis checks to help work out where the problem is. In the past WG has had problems with servers but that tends to affect most players. Please point out where the condescending comments are in the post I made let alone ultra condescending ones? I offered some advice on how to diagnose a problem before asking for help from a WG staff member who no longer works on WoWS.

I'd suggest that you need to run a pingplotter (it traces the path between you and the game router) for a starter. There are other things you can do before you tag WG personel. I had bad ping for a while yesterday but I closed down Google and things improved. I'd suggest looking at some of iChase Gaming's old videos that explained the basics and were well worth a watch. The game has moved on since he did the, (submarines for one).

The 'arms race' mode also appears in co-op. Any guess to how good the AI BOTs are handling it?

I think there is only one arse posting in this thread. Unsubstantiated claims and can't provide any examples of cheating. Given your battle count went from 573 to 580 it seems you've not quit yet.

It's, probably, too hard to code as well. I thought I read somewhere that WG said ASDIC would be added once subs were balanced. But adding ASDIC would change that balance. It's a bit too obvious to be honest.

I have the Flint it is similar to the Atlanta but loses the Radar but gains smoke and the torps are 9.2km with 55 kts (compared to the Atlanta 4.5kn but 65kts torps). Edited; I bought the Flint for coal when it was available (I had a shedload of coal and have 846K of it at the moment with only equipment upgrades to spend it on). There are no coal ships that I don't have.

How about a Flint with the same captain?

It works fine for me but then I did not install with epic. I do have Epic on my computer but did not use it to install the game - it's a free game so there is no need to source it elsewhere than WG wen page.

No not at the moment, but I did see it yesterday and, probably, closed it.

They have a world above and below water now - one of the reasons that the update is so big. I'm sure it's all coded efficiently too.. NOT

Maybe some signal flags that will soon be reworked.
