I am running Windows 8. Put the game into Windows 7 compatibility mode, and never had this issue since then.

If you are using Win 8.1 you can also enable data metering out of the box. Just reset it before you start playing and check the counter when it is done. You can access it by right clicking on any connection from the network taskbar menu.

The only times I ever get hit by two plane torp run (1-3 hits usually) is when they deploy in a cross pattern, since it is hard to tell which squadron will deploy first. BUT with the recent buffs to AA I would say the BBs are starting to get quite safe even without major cruiser backup.

While I do fully agree with what you mentioned in your post I do have to say that I would rather feel a sense of achievement if anyone would mistake my skills with an aimbot. But I guess not everyone is the same
