Ok this is common theory. If you are always top XP you are still nowhere, right? You are still just on your rank, not losing, not going forward. And we all know it is hard. But, I see that you didn't play enough, or something,because "if teams are terrible it should be easy?" - if you have just 2 enemy ships, focusing fire on you, you can be the best player in the most terrible team, you will die, then you will no be top XP. I always play BB, I am BB player, so if in an example, if enemy has 1 good CA/DD, they focus, you burn, you are dead, not top in XP. Most of the time, when you are top in XP is because from 5 players, maybe 2 of them are stupid, and 3 try to save things, so you can play good. You can't be alone in top XP because your team is terrible, it's not that easy.

So today a drop from 10 rank to 11. And my lowest was 8 when I stucked, and now just droping, droping, droping. But now I am having fun, don't care. Wargaming due this bad ranking lost me as a customer, so I will not pay a single thing again, certainly not a premium account (I am sorry that I bought it..). But some observations from today's battles: - If you start in the battle with positive attitude, trying to coordinate a team, you got nothing. One guy will always in his mind be the lonely player and if whole team go to A, he is going to B. - Cheating - yes, there is a cheat code in Ranked battles - if 2 ships from your team focus fire on 1 ship from enemy team, you will kill him quickly and you will win. - When you have bunch of single players, and enemy has a team of noobs, team of noobs always win. No matter how good are you, no matter what rank are you, if you are alone against enemy team, who is focusing fire on you, you are dead, you are useless like if I gave my wife this game to play first time. - Still it is frustrating, when you are loosing in a row just because you are almost most of the time alone in the "team". And yes, I called "team" and team. - When I am sarcastic in chat, people often think that I am serious. And yet, they play very sarcastically. This is all my findings, and yes, thanks for great conversation, I don't care anymore about ranks, I will stuck on 12 in this "season" , never play again. What I have learned? I will never judge other player on basis of his rank or statistics.. There is a lot of good players ending in bad teams, getting bad statistics.. (win/lost ratio) and bad ranks..for nothing. When the game start, greet people, see they response it will tell you if you play with people / players or just random bots in human flesh. GL&HF

And this is today... Someone said that maybe when you stop on some rank that that's your rank, you can't play better than that.. but I can't agree, because with a good team, you can get to rank 1 no problem at all, but with bad team, you can be player for rank 1 but if you face a good enemy who plays as a team, you just need 2 good ships to focus fire on you and that's it, you are gone. You can have the best skill, the best ship, but good enemy team that call for you as a target, and good focus fire, you are gone in minutes..

My fellow captains, I am very happy that I "fired up" this conversation. I saw some comments about me being premium player, want to have fun etc. My post was not whining, hell I am to old to whine for that, but it was a suggestion and it still is. I know something about building products, selling products, marketing products, it's something that I do now, and I was writing as a customer. If I pay for a product or service, I want the best from my money. Yes I have different game modes, yes I can heave friends to team up and play (if I convince them to join again to play) but, it is about logic in the game. Ranked battles is something that is more serous than random battle, we can agree on that. And game experience is all about play, so I was and still am, frustrated that people willingly join ranked battles but to play randomly.... and in a small team like in ranked battle, every player matters. So maybe to put some slection process before ranked battles, or better (not frustrating) medal model, would be better. As I said, it feels very carp when you give your best, and team don't want to cooperate, and you lose a star for nothing. On start of every match, I greet people, I try to see what is our plan, I suggest that we call for targets, focus fire, and the most of the time, I got bots with no communication skills at all, or some random "pro" gamers that know what is the best. This is not like world of tanks, naval battles are different, communication in naval warfare is the most important thing. Even in old days, warships communicate between themselves and coordination attacks and operations. Sorry for my language, english is not my mother language..

Well, I was thinking will I write this or not, but after today's battles, well, here I go. So, why and what to write, I was talking the other day with some of my friends (players of WoT/WoW) and Ranked battles are just bad game experience and very frustrating for us players. Let me elaborate that. First I would suggest some kind of entrance test or review to even start Ranked battles. Because players don't want to team up, they don't want to play as a team. Second, a player is good as his team, pro player with no team against noob players in a team, they will win. Ranked battles are not about player skills but team play skills and that is difficult in random matching. Third, what is about ranking? Are you serious? How can you rank us players on team play basis? It's not relevant, because read the second line. I can give my [edited]for a battle, finish second and I lose a star. You know who frustrating that is? And yes, ranked battles are great, I payed premium account, I want to play good, earn some XP and money. And this is the experience that I get. Now, even that I am huge fan of warships and the game, after this season, I don't think I want to continue playing, why should I? Why bother? You should really considerate to revisit your Ranked battles system. Because with every player that I spoke and he want's good team play, they are just frustrated. Ranked battles is all about team up, to chose target, coordinate, focus fire on 1 target, call for targets, and not great alone play. So now I write it, and you can hit me as hard as you can. GG&HF

Yeah, I thought so, but maybe we can share some experience. So now when I am in the game, I am constantly tweeking graphic settings. Aha, well, don't know what's happening. I thought my configuration is good for playing in maybe medium to high settings.

Hello fellow sailors, I am early beta tester of WoT, WoWarplanes and now WoW. I have an Lenovo Y510p and I am playing with single graphics card (OS is Windows 8.1), this is short spec: 4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ (2.4GHz 1600MHz 6MB) NVIDIA® GeForce® GT755M 2GB 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz 1TB (5400 RPM) + 8GB Hybrid Drive I am playing it on 1920x1080 resolution on external monitor. All drivers are updated, and when I play Co-Op, it is ok, on custom/medium settings I get about 40 fps, but problem is when I play random battle, I tried every setting (from medium to high, and some high, some medium) but I got a very bad drop under 30 fps (sometimes 25-28) and I see a lag, especially when I am exchanging fire with someone. What are your graphics settings, what would be the best? I don't won't to drop in graphics but I want to get optimal FPS, I know it is an old notebook, but my WoT works great, and World of Warplanes. Thanks for your help, it would be great to see an Lenovo Y510p owner here.
