Or are you hoarding them for Ranked/team battles only..... if that's the case then you should be happy you got another 30 to use in 'competitive' mode......... Jeeez....... the level of whingeing on these forums is reaching EPIC proportions..... Try my least favourite detonation........ 2 mins into game..... enemy DD fires HE salvo... ONE shell hits and my ship detonates...... what ship was it? IZUMO !!! now THAT sucked..... DD you kind of expect detonations .... but DD Det BB with ONE shell..... Checked stats after game 1 HE Nuclear Tipped Tomahawk hit ONLY for 78.900 HP......Nah.....

OK ..... time to own up.... it was me just messin' with ya.... me in a DD...we were synching divisions on TS and some clan mates on your team were complaining that Cruisers had said that they were going to hide behind Battleships and all I said was Enemy Cruisers please DO stay behind Battleships".... the chat hack doesn't exist matey.... was just winding you up ....

Weel considering that WG themselves have stated that the ships are broken... hence these threads... then NO it does not have to be in game 1st to be broken !!!!!!!! (! Quotes)

posted this on the wrong thread: Biggest problem I see overall is that [with the recent introduction of German BB] Against certain heavily played BB [German] the ONLY reliable way to do damage is via HE ammo... Tier for Tier no other Battleships can go one on one with the Germans ..... Kongo v Konig .... Kongo Pens with 30% MAX and no chance of a citadel on Konig... Konig multiple citadels available each well aimed salvo... same with New York.... Tier 6 Bayern against Fuso / Warspite/ New Mex same as above... Tier 4 Kaiser same as above... Nagato against Bayern or Gneisenau same thing with the extra addition of Torpedoes on T7.... The ONLY way to reliably counter German BB IS HE would really love to see the impact 6" AP shells are going to have agaist on of those at ANY tier.... I for one believe (and I guess I am one of a few) that the entire HE/Fire mechanic NEEDS to be reworked as does flooding damage that SHOULD be taken from under the waterline penetrations on ALL ships... To be honest UNTIL the recent introduction of German BB the game was 'relatively' balanced generally... there were a few OP ships but nothing game breaking... Kongo, Fuso, Nagato and Amagi are now basically fodder for German BB... what I am trying (in a roundabout way) to say is that the RN cruisers are NOT the most broken aspect of the current Meta, it is in fact the German BB line that really needs looking at more closely..... Until that time, as it stands, the RN ships SHOULD indeed become HE spam monsters as this will finally (maybe) have the devs look at the whole issue of [virtually] inpenetrable ships and the HE/FIRE mechanic as a whole....

Com on Guys give the OP a break.... So couple days ago I go out playing for fun with my Bayern... A tier 6 Battleship with a heart of iron.... So we are on two brothers and me and my clan mates push one side... I begin shooting at cruisers ( coz thats what you do right) and get so fixated I forget to wait for my team, until my buddy is shouting in TS that I better turn away soon... Being as I was committed and facing an Amagi, Nagato, schorrs and a myoko the best move in my mind was rush them all.... So after several frantic minutes of battling alone I am so glad to find that I am past them and sailing away leaving 4 upturned hulls behind me... Best part was that I have been left with 3000 HitPoints after the engagements... So in reply to OP... German BB are NOT OP ... Just working as intended!

Had a game yesterday in Tirpitz... New game mode with concentric circles... Game starts, start hard turn to right to try to get away from spawn spot... Spotted by planes, engaged at max range by 4 Cruisers, 2 DD and a Bismarck... All firing HE... One minute on game timer am down 40% health with 4 fires burning... DCP and heal then by 2.5 mins am sunk from the next batch of 4 fires... Managed to get 3 decent 3 to 4k hits along with over 10 no damage 'critical' hits.... The fact that even battleships are now constantly firing HE does seem to reinforce the OP opinion that something is 'off' since the last couple patches. Am a general class player, play BB, DD and cruisers so I it from all aspects, but even in a cruiser the high level of HE and fire damage is bad if you attempt to engage the enemy... As a BB player the biggest downside in pushing is that your 'escorts' will prioritise enemy BB rather that enemy DD thus the Big boys don't dare push up and all complain about camped BB... So yes something needs to give with the max range HE spam that will only get worse upon arrival of Royal Navy light cruisers...

Completed mine today, already had Cambeltown got credits, captain and a port slot... So proem seems fixed now .....

Yes it does take into account was changed few patches ago matey... if you have X number of games as bottom tier then MM 'tries' to give you Y number of MId/Top tier games.... Problem with T5 is that this is working for T6 and 7 but being as T4 is now protected then T5 can only see T4/5/6/7, whereas T7 (for example) can see T5/6/7/8/9... T5 'loses' the lowest tiers that would/should be available to it. T4 has +1 /-2 T5 has +2/ -1 T6 has +2/-1 T7 has +2/-2 So for T5: if they are Top Tier then the game will be T4/T5 If they are Mid Tier game will be T5 only AND T5 / T6 As bottom Tier T5/T6/T7 For T6: if they are Top Tier then the game will be T5/T6 If they are Mid Tier game will be T5/T6 AND T7 As bottom Tier T6/T7/T8 For T7: if they are Top Tier then the game will be T5/T6/T7 If they are Mid Tier game will be T6/T7 AND T8 As bottom Tier T7/T8/T9 As you can see factor in the MM 'allowing' for someone to be retiered due to excessive Lowest Tiering affects the T7 ship the least and the T6 a % more and the T5 a further % more than T6 ship.... Hope this makes it clearer......

Hey OP dont rush the tiers, and try not to miss out any... there are some absolute gems of ships/playstyles that you may miss out on (Looking at You Nagato)

My count for Konig last 2 days... 23 games..... 2 as top tier (max T5) 3 as middle tier (max T6) 18 as Bottom tier (Max T7) Great for XP farming but TBH not a whole lot of fun having T7 Cruisers out ranging you and burning you down constantly... BUT thats the way WG seem to want the game to be so T5 IS the NEW T1.... Seems T1-4 are now ONLY for newbies / seal clubbers.... game now starts at T5 and is very very hard at the moment.... my worry is for the longevity issues with all the new guys because with MM the way it is right now, there is a huge skill gulf needed to do well at T5.....from T4....

I personally tend to support the DD's in my cruisers.... low concealment helps here A LOT ! In BB always up front deal as much damage and carnage as you can while you attempt to stay alive.... welcome to the game and welcome to forums ! And if you want to division up feel free to pop into our TS we don't bite !

I am happy for people to know that I am a Nub.... I have good games and bad games.... sometimes they balance sometimes they don't... just think you see a 20 gazillion WTR rated player who has a detonation occur on him.... not really doing you much good knowing he was really really REALLY good.........before he went boom randomly...

Why would/should WG add something to the game that ruins teamplay, gameplay and bring toxicity to the game? I played Wot from Alpha until WoWs BETA and it was predominately XVM (and its' like) that drove me away from playing WoT, that and millions of game breaking Modifications that everyone seemingly could not do without. WoWs has no XVM very few mods, those that were useful have been incorporated into the client... this is now the 2nd patch where I can happily state that I have no mods installed and it's lovely like that. It's funny that the term Tomato referred to those with Red stats in WoT... in WoWs it is the ability, or lack of ability, of the player DURING each battle that shows how good / Bad they are..... much better much fairer and..... it just works. If it aint broke..... don't fix it !! I find it quite amusing that we got this same set of requestrs same time last year, straight after Gamescon and when existing WoT players decided to try out WoWs.... wouldn't worry most of them cant make the switch to ships and will feck off back to their XVM/Mod/Toxicity ridden game that they have recently taken a break from....

Yeah.... But let's be honest the OP has played WoT so he feels he should be super duper ship player... This last 2 weeks has been epic picking on morons who can't or won't learn the limitations of those battleships... I am a hard and fast BB player however this has been an epic time for my Cambeltown, Isokaze and Kamikaze, due to peeps like OP thinking that either driving in straight lines using ARTY view or camped at back using ARTY view is a great idea. May I take this time to thank you guys for the generous contributions of XP and credits that you have donated so far. In All seriousness OP please play some DD then come on and give us your feedback...
