Not neccesarily a reply to this ^^^ BUT we appear to have found an interesting bug. One of our members got the invite up on his port screen, clicked through and then the swirly came up for 5 minutes so he closed it again. we tried the button under his name... nothing... so we waited for invite to expire and re sent the invite... exactly the same thing occurred. This has only been one player out of 20 invites... and the ONLY difference is that he is playing WoWs on his Mac... so we did the whole someone else log in for him on a windows PC and guess what the invite was there sitting under his name....and could be clicked on and accepted... Seems there appears to be an issue with the clan invite system when the recipient is using WoWs under Windows emulation on a Mac... Devs any ideas?

Yay today clans went up ... hopefully there will be some activities now..... still recruiting... still in same TS come on if you want to have a laugh !

Hey thanks for the info....had one of my guys try it... all he gets is a swirly that he left for over 30 minutes and still no info coming up..... ;( just this screen.....

Hey guys, so the clan system BETA is here and looks, so far, very pretty and fairly user friendly.... with a few 'exceptions'.... Now several issues have come up which I hope that WG staff may be able to help with and I have listed them as follows:- 1) Having to switch out to WoWs Web Portal to do invites where a simple right click on player in game would seem to suffice. 2) Players with 'hidden' stats are searchable, but you are unable to invite them unless they send you the link to their stats. 3) The pop up in game seems to hang for ages, having to be closed manually. 4) I personally have sent out invites to current members of our clan inviting them to join the 30.... they have clicked yes but they have not updated, pop up has gone but they show up on invite list as invite pending, when you attempt to resend the invite system states that this player does not meet criteria. (bug?) Hope that as this is BETA then there may be a workaround for some of these issues and I would be happy to discuss it further.

Neptune finally......... Oh boy those 16 torps NEVER get old.... 85 second reload on 16x 10KM torps...... 12 x 6 inch guns that reload 4.4 seconds....100 Anti Air with range of 8.6 KM..... and SMOKE !!! If there was ever a time in nearly 7000 games that I thought.....wow this ship is just perfect....this is probably the one.

yes this is interesting news and excellent that Wargaming are taking notice of user input...... However..... REDDIT SHOULD NOT BE THE PLACE THAT THIS STUFF GETS AIRED WE HAVE WARGAMINGS OWN FORUMS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FOR THIS ! ! ! ! If Reddit is going to be the place for all customer contact then why waste money and resources having a GAME FORUM in the first place...... Poor show WG very poor show ! -
Thing is though, Jay it is remarkably easy to 'git gud' really quickly in the RN CL (T5+ Mind... no comment on 1 to 4) just play them like fat Destroyers.... simple as that..... Or watch some of the MANY videos many people are putting up on YT et al..... I myself have posted quite a few that show you exactly the type of gamestyle that suits these ships VERY well. Edinburgh (T8) Fiji: (T7) Leander: (T6) Just so no one can follow with the old 'yeah only posts good games' here is an evening stream in its' entirety. 1:35 Live stream all British. Think the biggest problem , for me personally, is the overly loud wind noise that is just an annoying whine constantly... gun sounds are worse now, crew voices are quieter and herder to hear.... Come on WG give us back the old audio files !

Thing is guys... and you HAVE to understand this... The RN CL line has been set into the game as a 'different' playstyle.... Russian... burn stuff down with HE (boring).... IJN Burn Stuff down (slightly slower mind) and torp from range (boring x 2)... USN Shoot planes down (assuming there is a stupid CV player), oh and burn crapdown with HE (dull as heck)... KM Cruisers burn stuff down with HE (while running away as best guns and angles are from the rear)... (boring) RN CL..... have to get up front, up close and personal... use that smoke as both offensive and to help disengage if you overextend... RN CL are there to have something different away from Long range HE spam which is as boring as **** Some people it will suit, others not so.... those others just carry on playing your HE spamming RU/IJN/USN/KM ships and have fun doing so..... Us who want to be challenged to knife fight in Cruisers time to grab one of the Queens Finest !!!!

Edinburgh takes a bit of adjustment after the Fiji, but once you make the adjustments then she is awesome....

You are doing nothing wrong, teams are just terrible these days, if you are lucky and get a half decent bunch of team mates then all is golden... otherwise..............................

Yes this ^^ RN CL are better suited to the sneaky type of play, bit like USN DD.... always watch for the ship showing its' broadside, constantly switch targets as soon as the Superstructure HP are depleted, hunt DD's ambush BB's.... oh god there are so many fun ways to screw over the enemy in RN CL.... (oh and the torp arcs are epic especially with single fire torps) Use islands, smoke and flanking to get fire down on targets without recieving fire back.... So yes if you are a hardened HE spammer who likes to burn down a ship then move onto the next one then the RN aint for you !! Heres a fun short clip ! -
Played my first 15 games in Fiji, didn't really take too much notice of win rate as am enjoying the ship too much but was shocked to see this !

Yes it is very effective, Emerald Especially is great as it has 8 torps per side and you can walk your torps into incoming BB with impunity !

Put our appliacation in for Clans BETA went through actives and inactives and happily we have 58 Actives along with around 35 who are over 28 days away from game..... English speaking (Very multi national) Group we have no requirements other than a willingness to learn, and join a group of guys who are friends first and foremost ! Roll on clans BETA ...... interesting times are ahead of us all methinks !
