Battleships role is to 'battle' to engage and to devastate the enemy with withering, concentrated, well aimed gunnery. Our clan do much the same thing, this is a fun and engaging aspect of the game, we tend to stay in channel, speaking in code to try to confuse our ' enemies' .... as a clan leader the only really annoying part of the counting in thing, is that ALL the members on the opposite team tend to focus fire on myself .... meaning that I have to play very very sneakily. @OP before you try to get this option removed may I suggest that you join a clan and give it a try, for sure there IS the possibility of abuses, but most groups tend to do this just for the fun of playing with / against their buddies. Granted 3 divs from same clan on ONE team can easily make for a very one sided affair but there is NOTHING stopping anyone using the voicechat system already in game for extended teamplay.

I was very surprised (pleasantly mind) to find that I had 2.8 Million Elite Captain XP sitting waiting for me after the patch, this has meant that I can pretty much start any new captain now with 10 points, also the 5 x 19 pointers means that I will always have a decent amount available to do this time and again. As for the skills tree, it is a huge improvement on the old one, the need to make a decision as to how you are going to play a particular ship, thus how you intend to spec a captian can have radical changes to the decisions made on skills. RPF...... have it on my Fiji, only ship I bothered with as I didnt really have anything else to spend the 4 points on, yes it's a tool but TBH the impact it has is minimal, pretty much only use it when ninja capping in Fiji to check that the way is fairly clear. On the same note though, it is interesting to see that at the beginnig of matches the white detected symbol comes up quite often but it seems that the majority of people who use the skill, in my experience anyway, dont seem to last the whole game through. Very often towrds game end there is very little time that the white detected symbol appears. This makes me think that the people who take this skill are either playing too aggresively, or that the skill gives them a false sense of superiority that means they do not last very long. This is of course not hard and fast, just a 'feeling' a bit like the 'feeling' I get that within the last patch that RNG % spread has been fiddled with making shots even more random then pre 0.6.0.

^^^ this is the problem with the skill really, in general open gameplay it is just annoying to have a constant detected symbol on screen comfusing as hell really... can we get the option to remove that icon please?

Better still, if it is designed as a DD hunter tool, make it a module option, or a consumable for cruisers and destroyers maybe?

Yeah.... I also have the feeling that I won't be spending anywhere near as much time/money on this product since the changes... I suppose the only way to play will be to stay below Tier 5 and ride out the storm. For starters I cannot be arsed with re speccing 64 ships skills, followed by the utterly ridiculous aspect of having to camp to stay alive, this is NOT the game I signed up for TBH

I just find it easier to stay out of chat unless there is loads of friendly stuff going on, tend to limit to clicking caps, or using in game F# keys !

BBV probably wasn't in the game as such, if there were enough complaints about the OP in previous encounters, then it is likely that he had been flagged for 'watching' and this may well have just been a co incidence as to the timing, OP is proably one of those loud mouths that abuses everybody in every game so it is well deserved probably, possibly a Forum ban and a 3 day in game suspension probably wouldn't go amiss either ...... LOL just checked out BBV on Warships.today and he played 3 games in the last day, all in German BB, so I may be wrong in my initial assessment and that you may actually have come up against BBV in his Bayern or Konig, and just happened to mouth off to the wrong person !!!! Exactly, however sprinking in play from Fiji, Edinburgh or Neptune is not a bad idea, as the RN CL play like fat destroyers anyway.... but take a couple of days away from USN DD and you do indeed lose some edge...

Calling MTM a 'tool' while not entirely inaccurate is going a bit far, guy has been around a very long time, has given some reasonable advice, but you obviously have very different ideas on how to play Belfast to the majority of the experienced players in this game..... So all I can say is good luck bro and I hope you find an alternative modus for the Belfast, and all other RN cruisers above Tier 5 that so far very few people have stumbled upon!
