Atlanta is fine as she is, maybe give her the smoke from her sister.... but nah Atlanta is a fun, unique ship that should be the model for Premiums in future, something unique for those who like to actually play the game as it was intended, knife fighter extraordinaire with enemy DD's..... Fire Breathing Dragon for BB's and a vacuum cleaner for those pesky flying things !

I agree that there are way too many Battleships per game,my favourite BB games are when its 2 or 3 per side, 3 DD and 6 juicy cruisers all trying desperately not to be noticed. So X player plays battleships, is aggresive and is left hanging out to dry all the way through T4/5/6, gets to 7/8 and decides screw it am gonna kemp bush.... its a self fulfilling prophecy, CL/CA/DD 'need' to support Battleships going forward, not sit kiting HE at max range otherwise what else are Battleboats going to do apart from join them but try to use them as screens anyway hence they push further and further back due to the total lack of cojones displayed by your average muppet in a cruiser. Oh and your slight playfulness, in the subject matter, in your signature isn't exactly in the best taste as well marv....

Marvin, you do tend to tar all players of Battleships with the same brush, try being an aggresive BB player like me and see how many Fireproofs/dreadnoughts you can score, problem is that as soon as a Battleship becomes visible and is in range ALL cruisers and destroyers will begin the rain of HE which does not end until you manage to pull out of view range OR are dead. It seems not to matter that there are far juicier/dangerous targets closer to them, nope gotta burn down that Battleship. Classic example in this battle, https://wowreplays.com/Replay/37181-cherry2blost-Imperator_Nikolai_I-Solomon_Islands in an Imperator, spawned north of the whole team, saw that there was no point in trekking across whole map to head to opposite cap, said at start heading to C, asked for a couple of ceuisers to help me out with DD etc to be told "you're on your own" so had to hold the flank alone against half enemy team. Cruisers and destroyers are NOT doing what they should in most games, DD spotting, capping and torping from the front, Cruisers Supporting friendly DD and killing enemy DD, they either yolo or run to the back to long range HE spam. So my point is that if you get that holy grail of an aggressive (decent) BB player why the heck do you all disappear as soon as the enemy shows up on the map... ? Why not support that gem of a BB player and roflstomp the enemy team? Nope I have lost count of the times when I have pushed up with cruiser / DD support begin to engage the nemy and look over at minimap to see all my 'support' hare tailing away at max speed to the rear. So Marv, no, the BB are not the only problem the rest of the classes are as chicken crap/ ignorant as anyone else most of the time....

Pretty shabby (blatant) attempt to profiteer from those who can't/won't wait. Was excited to buy Hood, not excited at paying out 100Euros for the privilege.... Come on WG its a bloody game, charging 100Euro for ONE ship in ONE game is just ridiculous, I mean £30 for a pixel ship is a bit steep in general but we have kind of become used to that level of pricing, but to launch an Iconic ship, with pricing based on a 3 week sliding scale, when all we (as players) want to do is buy a ship and play it as soon as it is available. Shame on you this time WG... shame on you.

Has had me download the whole 6.5GB 3 times now, gets to this point and starts over..... Only uninstalled because the port became unresponsive, Settings button top left ceased to operate, couldn't add flags and port was staying black for minutes at a time.... Another WG fail? Have reposted it here, as its' serious enough to warrant its' own thread, I believe... yeah, its an ongoing issue, becasue I use KEF studio monitors for the game and boom mic for Audio while using headset for teamspeak quite often I end up with game sound coming over commentary mic, have played with it and all it takes is to turn down the ingame volumes, easy done but when using xsplit I keep forgetting to change volumes prior to running replays. Is a WiP at the moment, am in process of migrating video editing softwares as well so hope to get this issue sorted soon !

Hey Admiral, come into Teamspeak tonight and I will happily walk you through the use of RN CL..... Just a few here for you.... Neptune.... Neptune today.... Edinburgh. Fiji (4lolz).. Fiji............. Leander.... Before anyone says oh they are not great games, I always do a vid of my early experiences in the ships in question, hence why not too many vids lately as have NOT been gaining any new ships just playing the ships that I like for a while (looking at you Fuso) ....... But taken as an average or maybe slightly above average player perspective they are solid replays.

Mutsu is a solid ship, always nice taking Dunkerques by surprise rushing in and dropping those torps.... how many times have I been accused of hax coz Jap BB dont have torps ;)

On this note, perversely, I find that the Neptune is an overall more satisfying ship, due mainly to the fact that the vast majority of players tend to underestimate the Neptune, whereas in a Minotaur you are public enemy number one. Get the skill and see just how many people target you as soon as you are visible for more than 1 second. Neptune does not appear to gain this much attention though.... We have had this conversation many times in Teamspeak Admiral, why on earth would we like every cruiser line to play 'exactly' the same as one another, on another note if we were to 'balance; all ships around sub average players then the differential when used by an (as you state) [good] player would be even wider thus making the ships in question even more OP againt scrubs. As has been seen in WoT by dumbing down every line to allow for poor players [enjoyment] has made WoT into a non tactical, super fast headshot type FPS game at higher tiers. The only really 'poor' ship in the line is the Danae, that thing is quite possibly up for the title of crappiest ship overall in the game, possibly alongside Albany for the honours. Caledon is great if played carefully using tactics that will be magnified once you gain T5 and get smoke use. As for bouning shells off of BB's there is an art to RN SAP that will serve you in all the tiers as you progress... that is as has been stated by myself and others regularly (even when the bitching was going on at the launch of the line) the art is to aim a lot higher on the enemy BB than feels natural even against heavily angled KM BB this still does regular (though not huge) non repairable damage. Co Op is NOT the place to test out the RN CL line.... let me explain, the BOTS in Co Op are quite dumb, they will fire and continue to engage the first ship that they see if that is an RN CL then the results are quite painful. Many times I have offered to coach you in the use of RN CL but you seem to be unable/unwilling to be advised, happy in your sense of championing the cause of the mythical 'Mr Average'. These are NOT long range HE spammers they are best used as close support for friendly DD's using DD smoke to complement your own, all RN CL are devasting to enemy DD and quite a few Cruisers, BUT you NEED to be up close and personal, always have your escape route pre planned and be ready to disengage when the odds have rolled back away from you. Admiral, you have seen my vids on RN CL and the advice I ALWAYS give is as follows for ALL RN CL... 1) Dont be spotted 2) Dont be 'seen' 3)If seen Dont be shot at 4)If shot at dont be hit You do seem to take an awful lot of breaks from the game, and as the game is constantly evolving do you not think that this may well affect your abilities, as each time you come back you have to A) relearn aiming etc and B) have to contend with game changes that you are not equipped for. If you really like the Long range spamming then Go RU / FR /IJN /USN if you want tankier Cruisers then go KM but if you want some white knuckle, balls to the wall knife fighting then take an RN CL. RN is the ONLY CL line to have its own 'unique' playstyle akin more to DD play than 'traditional' Cruiser play but highly effective and some of the best fun that you will have in this game BAR NONE !!

Game was working fine (0.6.2) in between patches I built new PC, have now spent days cursing the new build trying to work out why it is worse than old one, now having chatted in Teamspeak with several clan mates, it seems that this IS an issue with 0.6.3 NOT the equipment. Also it is not an issue with Intel CPU and AMD GPU....... Mine is AMD CPU with Nvidia GPU..... 58 FPS that fluctuates to random numbers down to 10FPS.... also ping starts at 150 and slowly drops back down to 28.....loading times are now abysmal (on an M2 Nvme)..... this patch is broken, along with the ridiculous Submarine bug that KILLS the game and requires a re install to clear it ! Specs: AMD Ryzen 1700 @3.9 Ghtz 16Gb DDR4 3000 GTX 970 Strix

This is an invitation to all BAD-A/F players past and present and any of our friends from the other clans to join us on our teamspeak for some fun and frolics in the training rooms. Just pop into our TS introduce yourselves and join in the inauguaral anniversary games. Jousting, Fox and Hounds, King of the Hill and V25 rumble along with any other ridiculous stuff we can come up with over the 2 days ! Saturday evenings entertainment will include (for the hardcores among us) drinking games (detalis to be confirmed) so expect late arrivals to find a few 'disorderly' players !
