    As for the Smoke Screen.. sometimes an enemy Ship "blinks" in the smoke screen even when it does nothing or is completly stopped just because its on the edge of the smoke screen. Till now i was not able to find a reliable way to tell how long the smoke screen will stay because sometimes its there for 5min+ sometimes its gone after 3min´s

    This "Problem" exists since Alpha but gets into common knowledge now in the beta where more Players shoot at "extrem" Range with 15km+ You can at this Range usualy expect Rubber Banding Rude Move by the Sip (eg Stop and go Motion) Ships "blink" in and out

    Co-Op Matchmaking: A total mess!

    In Closed Alpha i had a game where i was the ONLY Human Player in a Coop Battle.. all other places was filled with bots.. beside this: One Win (sometimes even a lost) in an random match with a Stock ship will give you tripple the XP you might receive in a win from a coop Battle. needed 4 battles to upgrade my Pepsicola from stock to full..

    Remove the cap system...

    Like in WoT its all about the DMG.. the more DMG you do to the enemy team (all of you and you..) the more XP you get. Because of this, if you win you get a bonus out of it.. so.. if the enemy do nothing.. they will either adjust to it, and defend "next" time or they suffer from theyr gameplay. Because to be honest: 50-200XP is way less than 440. But its better to close a game quick and start a new one, than to search for them 20minutes and run into a draw because you didnt cap when you was able to..

    Views on CBT after 100+ matches.

    The Collision Avoidance is buggy.. so yes.. if you have it active you will land on some islands sooner or later, sometimes without any chance to get away from it because of... collision avoidance.. also i dont think there will be a Ammo Limit on Torps. As a Player who play almost exclusive Destroyers (US/IJN) i can tell you: IJN Destroyer On Low Tier up to 5 -> out of 30 Fired Torps you are lucky if you hit with 10 of them (higher torp Count because 30-40sek reload) on Higher IJN Tiers up to 7 -> you shoot fewer Torps because of high Reload time (lower Torp Count because 1:30-1:50 reload time 0.4/0.5 Torps/minute) i had times where out of 20 Fired Torps 0 hits.. and gone out of game with 3 Gun hits... it gets better on short range, but on Long Range (eg 7km+) there would be no reason to fire any torps if the Ammunition is limited..

    Also: if you manage to hit his Superstructure with HE you can take out (eg. Destroy them) his Main Turrets and his AA Defence If you set him on tripple Fire (3 Fire Symbols) on different Locations and he is Unable to repair, he Burns down quite fast. On a Side note: Every Battleship has some zone of "immunity" to AP Shells where the trajertory is quite bad, and you cant do planking Damage nor hit the waterline reliable.. if you use HE for this zone you can do still quite a Damage

    Das mit den 3 Iwaki Alphas müsst ihr noch etwas üben: Aus der zweiten Reihe in Fahrtrichtung des eigenen Verbündeten Torpen hat schon mehr Leute versenkt als man denkt Der mit den wenigsten HP als Führungsschiff ist selten eine gute Idee, da hilft es nichts wenn das Führungsschiff schimpft..Da hätte er halt auf halbe Kraft schalten sollen.. Wenn der Gegner auf Steuerbord dreht mit den Backbord Torpedos einzuzielen ist abenteuerlich ;) Weil du deinen Kollegen auch noch gerammt hast: Lest euch beide mal das hier durch (Ausweichregeln für Wasserfahrzeuge)

    [DD] Zerstörer Guide - Torpedos bis zum umfallen!

    IJN Destroyer spielen sich grund anders wie die US Destroyer Geschütze kannst du mal getrost knicken.. immer mal wieder bei direkt anfahrt auf nen Träger ballern vielleicht.. Ansonsten: Stealth ausnutzen und um den Gegnerischen Verband herumfahren oder warten bis die im Kampf sind mit eigenen EInheiten. Da achtet dann kaum noch jemand darauf wo denn nun ein Torpedo angerauscht kommt. Die Anzeige haben einige dann zwar, das Piep Piep auch im Ohr, nur ist man dann derart im "Stress" mit anderen Schiffen, das einige das dann gerne vergessen, oder aber bei drehen und dann (hoffentlich) in deinen zweiten Fächer reinfahren. Gerne mache ich es so das ich einen Fächer einziele wie angezeigt, und den zweiten dann in die Richtung schicke wo ich denke das der Gegner abdrehen wird wenn er den ersten Fächer entdeckt/bemerkt. Ist halt etwas wie Lotto Spielen auf 7km+ Wenn du siehst das ein Cruiser/BB auf eine Enge zu fährt, hast du als IJN Destroyer halt den Luxus deine Torps früher rauszuknallen als die US Destroyer, auch mal auf Verdacht einfach ne Salve in eine Meerenge schicken ist durchaus eine Option die bei 10/15km echt auch für "oh ein Treffer" Effekte sorgen kann. Was ich auch gerne mache: Lücken beim Gegner ausnutzen und dann von "hinten" angreifen wo keiner damit rechnet das da jemand ist. Du wirst nicht glauben was da hin und wieder für treffer drinnen sind. In manchen Fällen ist es auch gut einfach die Distanz zum Gegner zu verkürzen. Grundsätzlich stimmt es aber: Bei Distanzten von 7km+ ist es einfach ein Glücksspiel weil deine Torps so leicht entdeckt werden können. Edit: achja den Spread.. auf 7km hat es keinen Sinn die größe Streuung zu nehmen.. da dann durchaus passieren kann das der Schlachti gemütlich weiterfährt während hinten und vorne ein Torp vorbeirauscht.. alles schon passiert..

    In some Cases the "Cap" is for a lone Destroyer (last survivor of the Team) the only way to ensure a win after a game looked like an epic desaster.. Its this "no cap kill all" in the last 5min´s what causes a Draw or give another player the opportunity to cap it out for the own team. in some cases the cap circle is just on the way to the enemy ship and the cap is done by "drive through" and entirely a mistake.. Currently after 166 Battles fought, i have a nice 10% Draw Rate.. will be interesting if this will stay during the open beta also..

    View through a smokescreen.

    You can see through the Smoke when you are next to his edge. You see ALL Enemy Ships from inside the Smoke AND Behind it, if someone/something is spotting him. So if there is an aircraft or an ally next to the enemy.. you can see him from inside and behind the Smoke screen. As long as you vision is a little bit "milky" you are inside the smoke, but the more you get to the edge the more its likey you "pop up" from time to time so the enemy will see you. You also get seen if you shoot from inside the smoke on enemys or aircrafts

    The finer points of Destroyer battleplay?

    For the US Destroyers 4.5 - 5.5km (till tier9/10 )Torp Range makes you go into "knife Fight" with everything. You have to use Islands, fire with your Guns on enemy DD´s (us Destroyers are very good at DD hunting) and use you smokescreen for either Ambush an enemy, or get the hell out after an Attack. Common Tactics (in my game): wait next to Island till an enemy Ship rounds the Corner.. drop the torp´s and watch him sail into them.. engage an enemy full Speed, going broadside.. launch a full spread of torpedos and use Smoke Screen to get out (you will get hit by secondarys regulary after Tier6 using this..) Make the enemy spot you.. and promptly use smokescreen and make a U turn. in over 80% of time the enemy BB/Cruiser will try to hunt you down. After this make a Turn again into the smoke.. going next to "knife" Range and use a Full Spread into the Enemy BB/Cruiser there is no way he can avoid this. Had success with this a lot of times.. but you will get damaged in the prozess, and you have to watch your health closely.. not once it get me killed.. but well thats the Problem with US DD´s But in mostly everygame i have at least 2-3 Kills (DD/Cruiser/BB) for IJN DD´s sure they have the long range Torpedos, but they will miss a lot because torps can get spotted early but Scouts/Torp Bombers etc.. So if you fire a full Spread at 7-10km.. have them going with about 60-65kn are about 30-33m/s it will take about 3,5-5 minutes to reach the target.. there are a lot of things can happen in this time.. course change, speed change.. Your Cannons shoot well about 5SHots per Minute with a rotation equal to a BB.. So yes.. its always a pro/contra Going Knife Range, ensure your Torps will hit and get damaged in a kill or get killed process,or use Stealth and Distance, going full risk miss your complete Spread from 7km+ and have to run/wait for the reload
