  1. It's saving me almost every single game when I know I'm spotted by planes (trying to be sniped) or ship (DD somewhere).
  2. In a parallel universe. How are then people scoring 40-50K avarage damage in it if it's just click and win?

    10% more AA and fster turret rotation ... or 20% earliers spot for DD torps (don't help against CV). tier X torps were spotted 2km away, so 2.4km away is not a big deal ... for me.

  6. Tier 2. You won't manual drop on tier 4, but that's all. Yes you are wasting 2 skills points and can't get the -10% service time to TBs, but at least we can use it

    Pyromina is added 7+3=10. The fire prevention is not working this way 10-7=3. It's working as explained above. The "proof" is dev posts spread on the RU forum and damage mechanics guide I'm preparing for OBT, when everything is near final and not changing every week with micro patches.

    Let's say the base fire chance is 7%. Pyromania adds 3%, so we have 10% chance of fire on each shell. Fire prevention says -7%. 10-7=3% would you expect right? Of course not, it's 7% less from those 10%, so it's actually 0,07x10=0.7% less chance to be set of fire. So 9.3% instead of 10% And you invest 5 points, your only tier 5 skill you can take. It's not worth it for me, don't know about you They also promised that they will make this perk cheap in the 0.3.2 rework instead of reworking it.

    Fire prevention is so useless, don't waste 5 points on it, better go for more tier 2-3-4 skills.

    They shoot down planes, but nowhere near enough to save themself from the massive damage. The cruisers increase the spread of the torps, so the bombers score less hits.

    BB's don't have the panic and they don't get boost to the AA during the skill duration. BBs are larger and have many guns, it's normal to have better AA. But without the cruisers panic they can't defend themself.

    about the AA - just click 1 (to select the ship) and then click on the enemy squadron to focus it.

    The balance changes were in 0.3.1.4 and they were big. 3 times more approach before drop, -2200 damage per torps and -1 TB (4/4 now instead of 5/3). That's still strong ships as they want (gameplay as I wrote in another topic), but not OP anymore. Those 173K avg damage are total for all 3 (well OP, then rly OP and 0.3.1.4 nerf) patches since it was added. It was 180 573 before the nerf last week and it's dropping down with every game played after the nerfs (so no where near the last avarage). 0.3.1 added many new features to the engine and they can't find the exact reason for those slow loadings. That's hotfix (finally) untill they fix the reason.

    Of course not, only the long range aura and that's the DP guns. Des Moines have the 76mm also counted to the long range aura (same range as DP), so it's nerf for it yes. But the others get only DP guns boost.

    The increase was 150% for the DP guns only, not to all. Now they lower it to 75%, but they buff the base dps on those guns. You will have bigger dps without the skill, while pretty much the same during the skill duration. Looks like buff to me.

    Midway will come with 0.3.2. Also why do you think it's a nerf for cruisers AA? It's a slight buff actually.

    Pretty much the Airport vs tier X BB that's actually turning and focusing AA. 1 Des Moines near you and you just can't die in 20 minutes. But I have very strange question - 2 vs 2 CVs, no cruisers to cover them and he went for you instead of truehero, while he killed the shokaku instead of the airport? They won't make skill based MM, they just increase the RNG in their games if there is a problem with skill. Anyway if you search in their dev blog you will see interesting things. While designing the gameplay they decided that CV's impact on gameplay will increase with the tier as IRL. The low tiers are training ones, slow planes, not so much firepower against agile ships, so they can't really affect the outcome by much. The top tiers however controlling many squadrons have big impact on the gameplay and force teamplay, so that they can actually decide the outcome in the right circumstances if no counter is presented. The situation is changing on our eyes and will even more after the airports are added with 0.3.1.5 for everyone, I see much more teamplay lately, because of the high tier strike CVs. But still if they add training mission where you have to survive 5 minutes against TBs and DBs where it will be explained how to use the damage control team and the repair the CV's avarage damage will drop by probably 50%. I can't imagine them having such big impact on normal high tier battles with 2 vs 2 CVs and tier 9-10 ships only.
  23. More info about this reversed spread - it's only for ... IJN CVs (surpise surprise). That means that their auto attack will be pathetic, while the manual drop will be able to land good shots ... on a longer distance against afk ships. They wanted to make that for 0.3.2, but it's render bug and they can't now, so we have what we see now, where auto attack is with better spread. If you want to show your skill they say to go for the USN CVs as their spread is much more closer to final form now. They say the anime fans can collect their tears in special bottles and drop them instead of bombs to damage the enemy with sadness, but according to the stats they don't suffer at all, on the contrary Not really polite I would say EDIT: Now some good news (for some ) for a change. The 0.3.1.5 will tweak the AA ... and ...
  24. Mid-term plans are not soon, not before the release, so I will play them of course. Later if they become the rng clicking like arty I will stop We have to see the implementation. If they make tight spread near the end (for the IJN short range torps) it's still more then enough time to dodge them after they are in the water.
