Granted, I'm just posting here from the NA server about the Mikasa situation, but if the Mikasa is actually that bad a ship, perhaps the secondaries need to have their range buffed? Especially considering the overwhelming bulk of its firepower is in its secondary battery which requires the enemy to get stupidly close and which most ships can easily stay out of range of. You could feasibly double the range of the Mikasa's secondaries without it being overpowered. I think the Mikasa's issues are indicative of a larger problem with secondaries in WoWS. That being that secondary battery range is absolutely abysmal on most ships to the point where you go most games without them firing a shot. The spread of secondary ranes needs to be compressed I think. I've proposed it elsewhere, but I think the spread should be as follows. Tier 1: 3 km Tier 2: 3.5 km Tier 3: 4 km Tier 4: 4.5 km Tier 5: 5 km Tier 6: 5.5 km Tier 7: 6 km Tier 8: 6.5 Km Tier 9: 7 km Tier 10: 7.5 km Yeah, it's a slight buff to the range of Tier 10 secondary batteries, but this kind of spread would make lower tier secondary batteries much more relevant in combat and you'll see them firing more often. For the Mikasa in particular, or any future pre-dreadnought battleships WG decides to implement, the secondary battery range could be extended out to 6 km or maybe even 7 km, given how dependant said pre-dreadnoughts are on their secondary batteries.
