Not entirely true. Back in the day when i played arty (before all the nerfs, and rebuild of the arty trees), it was literally exactly like that. Only after years they "balanced it" a bit. Also wouldn't say that arty takes alot of skill, and i played roughly 1500?ish games in them. That comparison doesn't really work.

You'd need to measure your connection to the WoWs server, not your general internet connection.

Yeah, we assumed that that was due to packetloss. A ping of 80 btw doesn't mean lag, the red light goes on if "stuff is missing" afaik. Like packetloss. I get the red dot sometimes in WoT with a ping of 30, especially while updating other stuff on steam in the background. I still am 100% convinced it's packetloss, i just can't tell you how to check/test for that.

Premium means +50% XP and +50% credits. And it depends on "how much premium" you get. You can get it in different increments. A single day is 250g, a week is 1250g (cheaper than 7x 1 day), a month is 2500g (cheaper than four weeks etc).

Yes, i agree - kinda. I should've maybe said, a step in the right direction. Obviously balance is not done, but the direction (or "idea") is correct. As usual, sledgehammer balancing, wen't a bit overboard.

Well, you're trying to skip a tier 9 ship, that's costly ;) Honestly though, from what i heard, the Ibuki seems to be one of the better ships in the game (as in, way up there) - i'd just get premium and enjoy the journey. edit: also to consider, XP etc is inflated at the moment because closed beta - in open beta those 100.000 XP will take you a while, so 4000g doesn't look as frightening anymore.

Yes, exactly that. I'm sorry, but i don't really understand what the fuzz is about. They took the skill ceiling out of CVs, reduced the learning curve for newer players massively. That's not a BAD thing in my book. Yes you now just point and click, like pretty much every other class - and i can understand that that's frustrating. But it appears that that's what WG wants.

I assume you need around 100.000 XP (i assume you know how the free-XP conversion works - you need those 100.000 on other elited ships to convert), the conversion rate is 25xp per token/gold. That'd be 4000 gold.

I don't understand the question. Do you mean how much gold you need to convert enough free XP?

No. You will get your gold back when the game goes into open beta. But there won't be a wipe between open beta and release, meaning you keep your progress from open beta.

Pretty much covers my experiences. Only had a single game with 5 kills, stopped after that again. So all doomsayers trying to explain why low tier IJN won't hit anything anymore, dunno.. Maybe they should try it too.

Since there isn't a wipe from OBT to release, it's not silly. You get everything out of your gold in OBT already (the premium etc to help you advance through your ships) - it actually would be silly to refund it at release again, since you would get practically double the amount of gold, sitting on Zao etc already.

Ich oute mich jetzt mal als Bloedmann.. Ich hab vorhin die Seite gesehen, wo man die "Insider Preview" herunterladen kann - brauche ich dafuer eine komplett neue Partition, oder kann ich das "neben meinem Betriebssystem" installieren, und beim boot waehlen? Ich kann mich ganz dunkel daran erinnern das zwei OS auf einer Partition nicht funktionieren, oder so aehnlich - korrekt?
