Please leave all your feedback concerning the revamped account levels in this thread! Account Level Revamp Faster leveling up New display of UI changes with leveling up Players will get Level 10 in test, with quick progression to high levels

Hi guys! As you can see Coop battles will be revamped considerably in the next update. It would be great if you could try out the changes on the Public Test and see if the queue problems still exist there and leave your feedback in the PT Feedback section, so we can collect it and send it to the developers. Hopefully these changes will solve the issue, but if not the public test is the perfect place to point them out and hopefully fix them.

If your friend has not played WoWS for the last 3 months you can invite him into the program. You will receive your veteran rewards when your friend reaches Tier VI and plays his first battle on that Tier. (Premium ships don't count).

I didn't disprove the data, I merely pointed out that on the one hand it is translated from a source that is unknown to me and even if it's true (which it very well may be), it is still highly likely that it is only valid for the Russian region which can differ significantly from EU. I'll try to see if we can disclose data about these stats for the EU server, but I can't promise anything at this point. I understand the issue and I will try to find out more about this as soon as possible. I'll keep you guys updated in this thread if there is any news about this.

As far as I know this is not something we can do, however you can try to send a ticket to our Customer Support. They are responsible for everything that involves player accounts and they will be able to tell you if this is doable or not.
-
I can't really confirm the number, however Q&As from the Russian forums (and especially numbers in Q&As) are valid for the Russian region and while they can be interesting, they are not necessarily a good indication of what is happening or will happen on EU.

It's a bit hard to get solid info at the moment, due to the national holidays here in France and the upcoming weekend, but next week I'll try to find out more and include the feedback about this in my weekly feedback report.

I managed to poke the right people to clear this up and here is what I've got: We haven't intentionally changed anything about bots in PvE, it has was always been possible to get bots on your team when there are not enough players in the queue to form a complete human team. However the matchmaker system is meant to find games as fast as possible and it is constantly adjusted to avoid long waiting times for players. The shorter queue times might be the result of these adjustments.

Hi guys! I'll need to look into this. Due to the upcoming French holidays (our office is in Paris) it might take me some time to find the right people to ask about this, but I'll see what I can do.
-
Ok, now I get it, thanks for clearing it up! That might indeed be a problem and I am going to pass this on to the the appropriate people. We will look into it and let you guys know if there are any changes.

It is indeed easier to get more base XP in higher Tier matches, what I don't understand is how divisioning with a lower Tier ship would have any influence on that. Let's say two Tier VIII ships division with a Tier VI and get into the Tier X matchup. How is that different from getting into the same Tier X matchup without the Tier VI ship in terms of XP?
-
Can you elaborate on that? How exactly would it make it easier to obtain higher XP scores? I have to admit I don't usually do "fail divisions", so my only idea is that it makes it harder for the other ships making it more likely that they can get more damage done.
-
I've checked and we are not planning to forbid divisions in the contest. If "fail-divisions" cause problems we will look into it, but we don't expect players to gain an advantage from bringing low Tier ships in high tier battles. The advantage of the potential higher damage will be balanced out by the relative weakness of the lower Tier ship in those matches. There won't be a leaderboard this time, the winners will be announced after the contest.
-
I'll check that tomorrow.

The rewards may be somewhat generic but I think premium days and signal flags are always nice to have and you basically only need to play the game to get them. If we always give premium ships as rewards they will soon become generic as well. It doesn't hurt to change up things once in a while and I am sure we will have contests with premium ships in the future.

Hey guys! Thanks for all your responses so far, we have collected all your feedback (from all the feedback threads) and made sure that the developers know what you think about the update. Don't let that stop you from giving more feedback though, we will keep coming back and collect everything until the next patch is deployed.

Hmm... tbh I would have aimed higher in a situation like that, if you aimed directly at the side if the ship, that Montana would have been history. Still, not getting any hits is either very unlucky RNG or a lag spike. My first thought was, that the ship was sailing at a slight angle increasing the distance between you and him, which coupled with the fact that you were aiming so low could account for the misses, but according to the last picture it seems that that's not the case.

Why does a Level 11 ranked battle have level 12 13 14 and 15 players in it ?
Ph3lan replied to Goonsteam's topic in General Discussion
I have to admit that I had similar experiences. I had close to 90% winrate until I reached rank 10 and dropped to something like 50% after reaching that. I guess I have to step up my game -

Hey guys! We will have a short downtime today for an update of the Public Test! Today 01.07.2016 19:00 CEST Size of client-patch is around ~80 Mb. Downtime: ~ 30 minutes, only for restart

The XP you accumulated on your elite ships (either a ship that is completely researched or a premium ship) can be converted to free XP by using doubloons. After you have converted it, you can freely use it to research any other ships or modules.

Hey Guys! Unfortunately we had to postpone WoWs Update 0.5.7 until 23/06/2016. Thanks to your feedback in the Public Test we discovered several issues with the update and decided to postpone the patch in order to have some more time to work on the problems. We know that you guys were looking forward to the new features and changes, but the current state of the update simply did not meet our expectations and would not have delivered the experience we want you guys to have in the game. We will share more details about our reasons to postpone the Update as soon as possible! Update: Dear Captains! We've grown concerned with some of the data and feedback we've received during and after the Public Test for version 0.5.7. Therefore, we've decided to postpone the release of the patch by 1 week and introduce further changes to the 3 points of major concern. Secondary Armament modernization changesInitially we felt that secondaries would be strong enough after we had fixed the accuracy bug that had plagued them for a long time, so the change was meant to balance out the gained effectiveness. Statistics also tell us that comparatively few players used these modules and only did so on very specific ships. However, we did not consider the fact that this would make certain builds obsolete and force users to totally re-specialize their ships and commanders. While such changes are still bound to happen in a game like ours, we want them to be entirely your decision based on an amount of equal choices and added variety - not because we took one of those choices away. We'll take another look at this and other planned modernization changes in the next days and rethink our approach. Removal of Standard Battle from top tiersWhile we believe it's better for the game in general, we agree that it also feels like we're taking a part of gameplay away. We've decided to instead reduce the chance for players to encounter it, but we will keep this mode available in high-tier battles. Cyclone weather preset spreading to more mapsYou've raised concerns that this change feels like favoritism towards destroyers and their gameplay style. Previously, the chance to draw the North map with Cyclone active while playing high-tiers was in the region of 7%, while in 0.5.7, the overall chance to play Cyclone on any map will increase only by a very small amount. The chance for destroyer captains to totally dominate the match-maker and the battlefield will not be significantly higher than it is now, but the overall variety of map and gameplay environments will increase. While the decision to postpone the patch was a hard one, we remain committed to incorporating your feedback into the development of World of Warships. Please bear with us on this one and go sink some ship in the meantime. Action Stations!Ev1n, Global Publishing Producer

Basically what mtm78 said. While on the surface OPs idea seems good, this system would encourage selfish play and not teamwork. Instead of playing for the win players would only try to boost their own XP scores even if it ultimately leads to a loss.

Greetings, Please leave any feedback about Upgrade changes in this thread.

Hi Mordante! People play ranked for several different reasons: - Rewards (and I think this season the rewards are pretty sweet) - Fun - Different/more teamplay oriented game mode - Competition (what you call "ePeen", since for some of us it is actually fun to compete against each other) WoWS caters to many different players, if you don't like the Ranked mode, you are free to ignore it and play Random or AI matches. However isn't it nice to have the freedom of choice? Who knows, maybe in the future you will discover your competitive side PS.: You should use signals if you have them, they can give you pretty nice bonuses!
