Captains! With Update 0.5.5 we have introduced some of the most popular reticle variations into the client but we won’t to stop here. We want every player to be able to choose the reticle he is most comfortable with. That's why we are starting a reticles creating contest in which the players can select the reticles they would like to see in the game! As you cannot see posts in this topic, please head over to the announcement to ask questions or have a discussion about the topic. The contest will have two stages: Stage One Stage Two Prizes Regional winners (Top 5 per region): 7,500 doubloons and Special commemorative flag Global winners (Top 5 worldwide): Premium ship of their choice from our Premium Shop, in-game offers and partner programs and maybe something extra! Hi ShockPirat! Should be fixed now. Unfortunately the method we used for crediting the diamonds seems to have filtered out the duplicates. If any of you guys have similar problems (winning 2x100 gold but only receiving 1x) please send me a PM and I'll sort it out. I have to check with MrConway about this when he is back in the office next Monday. Your name is not on the winners list and MrConway is not among the players on the AAA team which makes me think that you played against them after the stream/activity. Could you send me a PM about this? We will look into this. Don't worry though, the diamonds are already recorded, so even if there is some kind of problem you will receive them as soon as we can track it down and fix it. Update: It's a sync up problem. Hi gr0pah! I've looked into this and it seems we made an error in your case, sorry about that! You should have the additional 100 diamonds now.

Update 0.5.5 brings new file compression system into WoWS. Unlike the previous versions, the new file compression format is not compatible with usual compression utilities. To allow mod makers to still be able to use game files, we are sharing an unpacking utility. To give mod makers time to prepare, we are already sharing this utility with you now. Guide: usage: wowsunpack.exe [-h] [-l] [-x] [-o OUTPUT] [-I INCLUDE] [-X EXCLUDE] INPUT MANDATORY arguments: INPUT optional arguments: -h, --help show this help message and exit -l, --list output INPUT contents -x, --extract unpack INPUT -o OUTPUT, --output OUTPUT a directory to unpack files into. Will be created if it does not exist. -I INCLUDE, --include INCLUDE process only contents matching the GLOB -X EXCLUDE, --exclude EXCLUDE process only contents not matching the GLOB If no filtering is given, all contents are to be processed (unpacked or listed). I see what you mean, but in my experience BBs are not as dramatically inaccurate at close ranges as you guys make them out to be (or maybe I am just lucky with my shots ). Sure it happens and people tend to remember the occasions when they completely missed more, than the ones where they hit all of their shells (taking the later for granted). That's my own personal experience though and you make valid points. Decreasing dispersion at close ranges and maybe even increasing it at long ranges sounds like a reasonable idea I could support I will include the suggestion in my next feedback, although I am fairly sure this is something the developers are aware of. Never hurts to remind them though

Handing out in-game punishments is not my responsibility, but if our Support claimed that they took measures against the player then I am sure that he got warned/punished. Banning accounts permanently based on a single report/offense seems a "bit" harsh to me, but there are other forms of punishments. (warnings, chat ban etc.)

In my case, most of the time if I lose with my BB it does not come down to the dispersion. It is mostly about me committing some kind of tactical mistake, not reading the situation correctly, choosing the wrong targets, bad consumable timing or something similar. Dispersion might also play a part of course, but there are so many mistakes on my part that I can't really blame that for the end result. Since you are a much better player than me Crysantos, the dispersion might play a larger role in your matches (since you don't commit that many mistakes) and it is probably more obvious to you. For an "average" player I feel the there is so much to improve tactically and mechanically that dispersion is probably the least of the factors that contributes to bad performance.

The 30% and 15% discount are for the price of the ship and they don't include the price of the port slot. That's why the premium shop offers are 27% and 14% respectively. If you buy the ships in-game for doubloons you actually pay 30% and 15% less.

Hi elexier! As others have already mentioned above, BBs are meant to be inaccurate at their maximum range. Their relative inaccuracy at higher ranges is the balancing factor that keeps their awesome firepower in check. In my experience with good shooting you can reliable hit and damage enemy ships at 70-80% of your maximum range with most BBs. I have been playing mostly BBs since the closed beta and never thought that dispersion is a huge problem. Of course there is the occasional infuriating salvo that misses completely, but then I also have the occasional "every shot hit the citadel somehow" salvo to make up for those.
