Cleveland was op to start with And still is. I find the next two ships allot easier to kill. As cruiser captain I still use AP against the pensacola and one after as well as ijn cruisers. They just are easy citadelled and i only swith to HE when they come at an angle or head on. Against BB's i generaly use AP at start to see how much plunging damage it does. If numbers are to low or unreliable i switchvto HE. I gues i use HE 70-80% of the time vs BB's. A Kongo though i take on with AP only as long as the angle allows. Against DD's i use HE exclusively. When i sail BB vs BB i use AP if the angle is good but HE if the angle produces too many ricochets. Anything not a BB i find hard to kill (and often even hit). Slow and high arcing shells, very manouverable cruisers and DD's and even a BB at range can be near impossible to hit if he actively evades. With that there is the long reload and unreliable ammo, ap might overpen and do next to no damage and HE as well might give you just 1k to troll you (or oneshot him as happened once) I feel BB is becomming a very difficult ship to play if you don't play them all the time, as you just cannot afford to miss as much. That said i have been killed in few salvos in my CA when i did not angle. When i sail at angle or head/rear first they do considerably less damage

Just replied on the other thread as well. The time to load feels the samefor me. But i think they shortened the timer by 30 seconds. It still loads fast (on ssd) but the timer id just faster. On firt load of a map i am like 10 - 15 src late. After that i have like 9 sec to spare and that while loading very fast. So å am very sure they lowered the time. Probably to test how that would work

Personaly i feel the loadtime is the same but i think they shortened the timer by like 30 seconds. Also using ssd here.

No. The silver star is the xp you get for ship and captain. They both get the same xp. That xp you can only use on that ship. The yellow star is free xp. That is xp you can freely use on any ship of module you like.

Experienced it one time now on the Fuso. Target around 19k out. -
HE damage should be nerfed with 40-50% to be on par with AP. AP is now only viable if you are a 100% sure you will get someones citadel or you know you can hurt him with AP. All othyer cases HE is just allot better. As you have aproximately the same damage + fire damage + modules and a extremely low chance of bounce, but 0dmg hits do happen.

I am not sure people are so much less accurate as the fact that the way more manouverable ships causes this. I certainly have a harder time landing shots becourse people often turn away.

It is indeed a bit fast. I have to be honest and say that it does make the game more action filled. Also at speed i think the model is very good with the rear pushing out. That is pretty realistic as ships (when not using bow thrusters wich these ships did not have) do push around the rear. It's much like a forklift.

Guys, stop that crossing the T stuff. In WoWS it works the other way around. You do never want to be the top of the T in WoWS becourse the one sailing the base has a very narrow siloette that is hard to hit, allot better angling, can easy avoid shots and has a very much easier time hitting your vitals even with half his guns. And with a quick turn he han fire off his rear guns and turn straight again. So no, crossing the T is NOT a good tactic in WoWS

Not sure if this is a bug or not. I got the first blood achievement twice, but i only recieved a signal flag the 1st time. The second time was on the Warspite. I got the achievement but the signal did not come

If they halve the damage HE does now i think we are on the right track. Edit: Mind you as a Cruiser player i love the way HE wrecks BB's though. But this just is too much

Op are you crazy? Yes HE is too powerfull now but as it is atm i dare say that cruisers have benefitted the most with the new HE shells. Allot easier now to kill a BB in a cruise and DD's as well.

All i can think off is the ranging to bug becourse you aim at the wrong side and it it is trying to (over)compensate for that? With aiming at the wrong side i mean you should aim below and infront of the ship when it sails towards you at that angle. I have not had this happen on my ships(yet) -

Thing is, the torpedo belt does not run all the way to the stern. Outside of the belt you take allot more damage -
saw it only once. Killed a Cleveland with 1 HE round.

Feels allot more active. Ships turn faster and people seem to get closer as well. Very hectic very awesome

I think gameplay will change quite a bit when 0.3.1 comes. Shorter range BB's more manouverable ships, more accurate guns (less lucky spray hits). Besides that i like the way it works now. I play mainly cruisers and BB's ( as i suck with torps i gave up on DD's)

Yep, kinda anoying. Good thing is that is is very minor on my end and it is a constant lagg so i can still aim normaly etc, just the ships turning looks a bit silly

The fact that BB's (except Warspite for now) have large spotting ranges and are big targets in a cap circle might have something to do with that OP. Right now a BB in the cap is just a slow or stationary, big [edited]target, spotted from far away. Easy to get killed or cap reset that way Things will probably change after 0.3.1 comes. But right now a BB is generally better if he keeps moving and shoots stuff in range. Ofc if the nearest enemy is far away cap might be good. Op i hope that made some sense atas to why BB's rarely cap.
