I find the 203's allot nicer to play with. Against DD's the 155's might be better but i feel i get better results with the 203's that seem to penetrate citadels more easy on other cruisers and do more damage vs BB's

What, seems like they are overdoing the HE buff? I can imagine now everyone using HE, becourse if the potential damage and fire as well as module damage. World of Burning Warships? -
Nice write up. Btw i do think the Aoba is a good cruiser this for it's tier. I ahve both Aoba and Cleveland, but i still like the Aoba allot more. Cleveland needs to go up a few tiers. As for the Mogami, i think the 203mm guns are the better choice, even with the DPM and RoF loss. They just seem to hit harder and are quite accurate. At when i read the stats i was like "wth., that's a massive downgrade?" but after i put them on i never looked back. Also since both Aoba, Mogami and Myoko have the same guns you get a great feeling for them. With the incomming HE buff i am afraid the Cleveland will be a very, very dangerous ship to take on.

When i write this i have Mogami 52% (38 battles) Aoba 64% (25 battles) Myoko 55% (9 battles) As for lower tiers Yubari 57% (19 batles) Kuma 22% (18 battles) Not the worst i think. also have around 1:1 dmg on all my ships or working towards it. With the IJN cruisers you have to play carefully at the moment. Try and not to get focussed and you can do quite some damage. But if you try to play to agressive and get focussed, the game can be over before you can do 5k dmg. Yes their citadel needs some balancing, but they are far from useless if played right.

Their biggest problem is their citadel. Speed, armament, manouverability, detectability, etc all that is fine. Mogami and Myoko will also logicaly swap places. The Citadel however needs changing. It is too easy to hit. I sail mainly IJN and i am allways happy when i meet other ijn cruisers. They are easy citadel kills, by far the easiest ingame.

I suppose 340+people live in total darknes or play with gamma correction on 100? Night battles sound cool but unless you are in a blacked out room it will be very irritating especialy now that summer is on it's way. -

Hello, I'd like to give some feedback on the forum this time. For some reason there are no pages in threads now. Meaning they become a hassle to open once they pass 400 replies, especialy with lots of pictures involved. It is just very slow. Please consider adding pages to threads like on the WoT forum.

Same happens in WoT but then you can swap servers and it's gone. I do hope they improve this, it is an old problem not only for WoWS.

Atm i am up to the Myoko and have no issues whatsoever finding good use for her. I find it very effective vs DD's. Way moreso then a BB. I have a higher rate of fire and very accurate guns. This allows for a good chance of citadel hits on anything except BB's wich are hard to citadel. Also fun to chase CV's. Also OP, you complain about the cruisers while you sail a Cleveland. Sorry but if you sail that ship and struggle you are doing something wrong.

I can't seem to type after a quote, so i'll reply to my own post. Seems to me that last bit was the whole reason for the post. 3 games in a row you get 1 shotted from 18+k? May i ask you what you are doing? Don't you look where longrange incomming fire goes, or change course etc? You should not even be visible at those ranges unless there are CV planes closeby. Anyways BB's are the counter for cruisers, that is why cruisers are weak vs BB's. But Cruisers are very strong against eachother, DD's and CV's. And when not focussed down they can still put some deadly fire on a BB.

Stuttering as in low FPS or lag issues (rubber banding)?

I have lag to. Checked my internet, reset routers and modem. Weird thing is that some battles there is no lag at all, while in others it might spike and the orange light flashes. The lag is (sofar) only minor though and still playable but seeing the ship rubberband al the time is boring

Cleveland has more guns = more shells can hit the Citadel Pensacola is allot ( and i mean really allot) easier to citadel So there you have your problem. Might get better after 0.3.1

Cruisers are great vs other cruisers, destroyers and carriers. But yeah 1vs1 against a battleship will result in your death. If you find US cruisers weak i suggest you do not try IJN as they are larger, alot lower dpm and RoF, easier to hit and pen citadels. So they need a more defencive playstyle

This has allready been reported in the right section of the forum a little while ago. Other then that i think the ships are the right size compared to eachother. It is just that the world and gunranges are scaled down to make it all more playable. If world scale and ranges where real matches would last hours And be very slow.

Sometimes in the evening it becomes a little unstable. Last week was fine with no lag. But the last 2 nights have been quite laggy. I think it is the routing or something as i got no such lag in other games and not many neighbours around either. Just a little update. After i logged in and out of the game server (not totaly closed the game) it ran without those lagspikes. Ping still jumped between 45-63 ( that is quite normal when over 6k ppl are on) but no lag

Yes i looked on pc too but i am still not seeing a D turret? I honestly don't see how people see two turrets on the rear? Edit: Ok i finaly saw it. The D turret is so low i didn't see it. Seems i was wrong all along. Bismarck it is
