Kuma is fun if youre into cruisers. Go full Kuma party!

Hmmm.. 30 euros to just try an IJN DD. Ever heard of the umikaze?
-
Never noticed lol

Same as in WoTanks, really. If youre a very good player, you will tend to break even (creditwise) alot more than a player who is average at best. You can try to provide with additional credits by: - Buying a premium boat. One time purchase, lasts forever. - Premium account. Recurring purchase, works on everything - Get a mid tier boat that syncs well with your playstyle. Use it to farm credits. Less effective than above, but its free.

Exactly what I was thinking! If Fujin is around now for €30, I think you can expect a price like that. And lots of [edited]'s from players who just want the boat without the extra flags, premtime and doubloons.

Heck, that mighthve been you, then! Playing my Myoko, I took some salvos at a Nurnberg. First salvo took the engine, he repaired, next salvo took the engine again and caused fires. The poor guy wasnt even showing his side. He didnt last long after that.

In the world of wargaming, being stock always sucks. That aint new, baby! Save your free exp for the stock ships.

It doesnt show it ingame, but the hull improves your max range alot. Upgrading the hull should be your first priority. This turns the Fuso into a rather deadly long range fighter in one mouseclick.

I think that WG's promises after canceling Havok (WoT), going back on their word regarding the Chieftain tank (WoT), and introducing doubloons in WoWs instead of account gold should not be taken too seriously. Sure, its nice to read patch notes and translated Q&A on blogs about what WG has in store, but WG has surely shown it can completely turn around on subjects. Sometimes.. to great dissapointment. I dont believe anything untill its in the live version anymore.

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Marlekin replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
I hit 120ishK damage today on a random battle in my Nagato. All the time trying to adjust to that ship and upgrading it has been so worth it. My team didnt win tho, unfortunately. -
Thanks for the find, just purchased a digital copy via googleplay. Tachibana looks like a fun little ship.

Here is a quick summary of the Fujin from Concretedonkey, a player on the NA forums: [quote name=Just a quick review. It is a Minekaze, I had almost 300 battles in mine and I loved it. Finally moved my captain out of it to grind the Hatsuharu. The Good I can grind my Hatsuharu with a captain with the "concealment expert" perk and still drive a fun tier 5. With concealment expert and camo, surface detectability range is 5.4km The torpedo tubes have the Minekaze's pre nurf firing arcs... maybe a little better, so you can use all 6 torps without having to turn almost perpendicular to the firing line (broadside to the target) guns turn a little better and have a better rate of fire 6 rpm vs 5 rpm. If you are shooting things in this boat you are doing it wrong. It is a nice backup to have. it is fun. The Bad a little slower and a little more sluggish, I did not notice it most of the time but when I have torpedoes coming my way or knife fighting another destroyer you will miss the Minekaze's edge. Its 30 dollars instead of $16.71. AA is two WW1 era 30 caliber machine guns. All they will ever do is give your position away. The Ugly the skin... good god. But I run with camo and even then I use the "Invisible Camo" mod so mine is a stylish IJN grey. Would I buy it again... yes but only because I have a leveled up IJN captain. The firing arcs are a huge improvement over the current Minekaze because it lets you charge up to the target, turn away, and let go of all six torps while putting distance between you and the target. The current Minekaze requires you to run broadside to your target for a few more seconds then I would like. This DD sounds pretty good, actually. I'm currently at the Minekaze myself, and I really like its playstyle. However, I'm simply not going to be arsed to keep the minekaze and train a whole new captain for it when I'll progress further down the tech tree, so a premium sure does sound great to me. Too bad its priced at a ridiculous 30 euros with a bunch of stuff I really dont need/want, so for me its just not worth it. I typically already pick up a year premiumtime at discounts around x-mas already, and the warspite and tirpitz bundle pretty much filled the bank with doubloons already. I dont need anymore! If it was "just the ship" at a price compareable to the Murmansk I wouldve bought it. But if youre really about to spend 30 euro's in the premium shop; Get an Atlanta.

Fuso will always be one of the best BB's ive ever had. Upgrade it before you judge, tho.

Can't unlock Carrier becuase I suck with Battleships
Marlekin replied to WOTomatoSauce's topic in Battleships
IJN tier III BB is a terrible ship aswell. Try to focus fire on the new german cruisers, they always seem be handing out citadel hits to everyone. -
I always try to equip and skill so I can build on my ships strengths, instead of trying to somehow compensate for its weaknesses. So I would take the main battery mod 1, gun fire control system to reduce your guns spread. This will help you gun down other boats more efficiently.
-
Playing my Warspite the last few days, I can confirm that its incredibly easy to score citadel hits on the german CL's at tier 4-6. I see alot of players showing their sides, maybe because they want to use all their guns instead of just the forward turret?

Very nice

What can we do about these gutless cowards on WoW
Marlekin replied to Antony1953's topic in General Discussion
So wrong. Take an Amagi, Fuso or Kongo to the front line and stay there. See how long you will last. -
What can we do about these gutless cowards on WoW
Marlekin replied to Antony1953's topic in General Discussion
I get called out for camping alot. Somehow in a typical battle where some divmates and myself go to one side, defeat the opposition, return to our base to reset a cap, we get called out for camping our base. Random baddies in teams yelling report n all that. Yet we carried hard, and won the game by pretty much traversing the entire width of the map. What im trying to say is Dont just report everyone you see doing something that seems strange. That cruiser steaming behind your spawn might be trying to save your CV from a DD that you didnt see on the map. A BB going along the sides of the map might be running from ships that currently arent spotted. Not everything is what it seems, and there are always two sides of a story. -
Thats hype, people. WG presents some cool cruisers on the higher tiers, and everyone is tempted to skip through some ships to get the one that they are hyped up about.

I guess handcock blew his top [edit] Ohh, its hancock.

Would you sell the bb's or just grind the credits?
Marlekin replied to _x_Acheron_x_'s topic in General Discussion
If you really want an Iowa and Yamato one day, then you should keep working towards that goal even through the ships you dont like. Selling off your BB's now will only require you to grind up more credits in the end to get your BB's back to work towards the BB's you really want. -
I'd have to say No for now, because WG will just put in a 50 euro bundle and use your feels for the Hood in order spend too much when you really just want the premium ship. If its released any time soon its going to be offered only in bundles like we saw with the Warspite, with extra doubloons and premtime you dont really want. Thats why I'd rather see it appear along with the rest of the RN tech tree. When its time by then, I hope its simply offered in the techtree where you can buy just the ship, premium or no. That being said, I'd love to see Hood ingame. It deserves a spot.

Haha, yea you do got a point there. Still, I like to have them. Crushing a DD's dreams of torping a BB is priceless, and in random.. well.. lets just say sh!t happends. Teams are some awesome that i'd like to have a plan B ready go. Few days ago I had to clear my teams capzone from 2 DD's. Lets just say i was pretty glad to have that extra range on the secondary guns! You see to run a different setup tho. What are your fav captain perks and modules for a boat like the nagato? For my captain, I usually stick with the Basic firing training (I), then Expert marksman (II), Superintendent (III), and Advanced Firing training (IIII). Still saving points for the last tier. I also had main batt mod 1, secondary batt mod 2, and steering gears mod. Not quite sure what to pick on the third slot yet..
