You play most your battles with a fully upgraded ship. That is of course if you don't give up before you even get the chance to upgrade your ship fully. I find comments on how crap a stock ship is rather pointless. The Myogi for example have a huge performance difference between stock and fully upgraded. As does most other ships. Slow, easy to get hit, rather inaccurate guns and the HUGE dependency to think tactically ahead before you make a move is the main characteristics of this ship class. If you do not like these characters from a class of ship. Commenting on how you don't like you have to play this class of ship in ways you meant to be achieves nothing.

It is the players. I am on 2% draw. It is damn near impossible to get a draw in Domination now. Since u need to kill both last ship at the same time or sitting at the exact score when timer reach zero. Had a domination win yesterday where Enemy had 2/3 points and 4 ship (BBs and CLs) while we had 2 CVs. Timer reach zero with less than 10 points difference

I consider myself a somewhat aggressive players and would prefer to close to 10-15k for my BB to properly engage. I find it fun(except the on fire a bit too often part). I think I am doing okay but got much room to improve on. -
WG is just not very good with their descriptions. What is intended is that you get a new mission every 24 hours if you have the slot free.

With how I am on fire almost every moment I am engaging any cruisers, the repair ability just reduce the fire damage I take rather than repairing -

I prefer the old recon plane that just fly around helping you spot things for a good period of time. How about the option between the short duration that also extend your gun range and the long duration that only help you scout.. -
The Kongo with the Hull B upgrade is most definitely a battleship. A bit less armour than the USN counter part(still significantly thicker than BC), but it can do 30 knots. I will always prefer a slight reduce in armour but a lot faster.

There are situations where you should ram even if you are on high HP, like getting into a close range with more than 1 enemy that is in a superior ship and your weapons have practically no chance of killing it. Most other time, just shoot the bastard.

1 tip I can give you is to keep your speed up, your armour is not as good as same tier USN BB, so make use of your high speed to avoid fire and control the engagement. Myogi is not a bad ship when being chase since 2/3 of your fire power is located in the rear. So u can fire 4/6 guns while keeping a minimum profile to the enemy when u make them chase you.

Being on the giving and receiving end of CA/CL spamming HE on BBs plenty of times. While BB trying to kill cruisers manoeuvring at their extreme range is challenging to say the least while the cruiser driver have a pretty easy life until RNGesus says otherwise. I don't have a problem CA causing serious problems for BB with HE spam, but it is just too easy to do right now. I think it should be harder or not as effective, take your pick, I don't mind which. Lowering CA accuracy will make them less effective against DD so I think that is a no go. I do think the consistent raw HE damage is a little too high when you combine it with the damage fire can do and how easy it is to set fire. So I think it would be best if HE raw damage gets nerf a little or fire become less likely to happen or less fire damage. Again I don't mind which. Another method is to slightly reduce the spread of BB shells across all range so they are more effective against cruisers without having to heavily depend on RNGesus. Just my 2 cent

I am just going to paste my responds from another thread... My Kongo probably got hit by no more than 2 torps per game in the last 20 games(getting BBQed due to my aggressive approach with my BBs on the other hand....). Something to do with starting to react to TB that is 8k away and heading in my general direction, trying to keep track of where every single DD is located by using the mini-map and taking educated guesses of where those that weren't spotted yet and taking evasive actions accordingly. I suppose my early evasive action can also act to encourages CVs that would torp me to go for some exp pinata BB drivers instead, which are in every team in every game since they are just so many of them in the queue.From what I observed, these captains whining about torps being OP/game breaking/ruining fun seems to usually lack experience in using torpedoes or use them effectively themselves.Torpedos really don't concern me when I am in my BB, HE spamming CL/CA (sometimes BBs...wtf really?) on the other hand.....

My Mk11 torps is unlocked with the Phoenix and I don't have to spent exp to unlock it for the Clemson.

You got me there, Grem actually have some great guns to justify AFT. So I guess it deepens on how often you use them. But LS will save your skin many many times and let you live longer to shoot more.

Is not the ship. It is the players. It doesn't matter if those players drive something else, they will find a way to be terrible at it, money back guaranteed. Maybe WG should make it clear the BB is not something as easy to drive as a CA/CL with tips in loading screen. Rather than let many rookies driving them with no clue on how most of it works and blame it on BB being underpowered. A bit of a nerf to fire or HE raw damage won't hurt. Been on the giving and receiving end of HE spam fire enough times to know that it is somewhat OP. edit: And I actually enjoy driving my BBs, despite being on fire more often than I prefer.

I too would like to earn a solo warrior medal by just move a little from the spawn point and then pretending to be afk by just looking around and turning the turret a little every now and then and contribute nothing to the actual victory.

Actually, he might have been able to helped us win the game earlier. we were at 930 points(we had A and C while the enemy had B) before we started losing a few ships in quick succession. 1 more BB on the front line could have made the difference and it might not have been such a close match(Or maybe you are right, maybe he could be so bad and get stomped by the CV or the enemy DD division ).When our 11th ship died, we were at just under 900 points and their DD were spotted heading to A and a Cleveland was 10-15k from C. I was pretty convinced the enemy would get into those cap circles before we reach 1000 points. Guess I over estimated their speed :pTo be honest, I'd rather we went down trying our hardest as a team rather than a win because we got lucky due to someone decided to to give up 1 min into the game because of the obvious ship advantage the enemy got.But we are getting off topic here. Zero performance should get you absolutely nothing(yes I mean including detonation!). Assuming you sucked for that 1 match and did not even get a single hit on the enemy, you were at least playing. -

We won by reaching 1000 points. Our entire team( minus 2) pretty much went leeroy jenkins style into all 3 caps and continued pushing them so we can keep all 3 caps for as long as possible. Since they were going to be killing us a lot faster than we kill them. so we needed that point advantage if we were to win. I was in pretty good shape all the way till near the end when I was <10k from their remaining CA, CV and BB. I saw his TB coming back thinking it was coming back to re-arm so I did not take evasive action. Well I thought wrong...
