EU-Server: Lags, Paketverlust, Ping etc.
Doerte replied to ydobon2013's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Doch, doch... (willkürliche Reihenfolge) Mods deaktiviert bzw deinstalliert (okay... Fantastisch! So spielen das andere also^^. Bin nun zuversichtlich.

Either the"guy" (sorry would scroll up and read name if I'd only care) that opened another useless thread did not listen 6 months ago, or is still not able or willing to read anything but his own thoughts... when did anyone ever say there would be a RN today... or even this year? Pls remind me to open a new thread about me playing the game... when a sudden flash of anger and rage takes hold of because i realize ... THERE STTTTTTTIL IS NO BHUTANESE MOUNTAIN-NAVY IN THE GAME!!!! OMG!!! LOLNOOBGOPLAYTETRISATL+F4!!!!1111elevenoneoneone That being... Hmm? Just a Moment please!!!11111 ...ah, better... that being said: Let us all politely wave the troll goodbye, close the door and be happy for one less personm we will not miss. Bye, bye! Wish you all the best... don't bother turning the internet off. Kisses and hugs !

Not sure, what exactly you are referring to, but aside from faster rudder-shift times for everyone quite a while back and two increases in torp-detectability... I just know of that 3rd increase about to drop on us. Not much mure really affected my torps. If you mean the possibilty to gain +5knots: Keep in mind, people had to sacrifice 20% range and those skillpoints for that. Don't get me wrong, I facepalm too, when in one of those games with 10 DDs, but I am not sure this is the way to go. Ah... and it seems, I am the only BB/CA-Captain that is not torped-spammed and killed all the time. Weird. The staright line must be strong in them.

Survivability Expert underpowered for everything except DDs
Doerte replied to Mik1984's topic in General Discussion
But everyone wants to be competitive! (Even if they are not) Creating another threshold on top of the existing skill-gap, by fooling the uninformed into believing their choices are actually viable, is (and I say that again) poor gamedsign. That only does 2 things: Earn dubloons for reskilling (for those that read wikis and stuff like that) and create another disadvantage to the casual player. Also, why implement skills that are objectively worse than others in almost every scenario? Want another exampls? If anyone of you played the XCOM-reboot. Remember your sniper-builds? Almost 90% built a sniper that sat way back, while being able to snipe 2 Aliens across the map every single turn. Even though we were given many different choices, what skills to take. Why even create the illusion of real choices, if there are just 2-3 (bulds) and some very odd, disadvantageous builds? That does not much more than putting people, that are already worse players at a disadvanatge. Creating frustaration amongst "good or core"-players, while also alienating those casual-fun-players. No one profits. not even WG. -
Regularly playing Tier 8-10 with a friend that is one of those CV-junkies, too. I can only give a 2nd hand-opinion and my own experiences as his div-mate. First, he told me (round tier7) "US CVs are awesome" and so was his DMG outpuit. Later (T8-9) he usually "stalked" the CV-opponent's stats to make a quick assessment of him. At that point (in both US and IJN CVs) he said "it is like a game of chess". You try to anticipate your opponent's move and try to outplay him. Recently (T10-CV-play) where those CV-snipes happen a lot. he stuck to playing IJN-CVs. Those other 70%+-win-rate freaks seem to agree. Only rarely do I see a Midway these days. And in most cases, t seems to be sunk quite fast. Just my two cents, nothing more. But if CV-snipes are main factor: We got that 1-use-AA-consumable incoming pretty soon. So Snipes might be a thing of the past soon. And since an unchallenged TierX-CV is no fun for anyone. I am really looking forward to it.
-
Reasonable question! I'll try to shed more light on the matter. Pls look at the overall stats (for EU-server) and let us at least bury the "myth" that Shimas are for noobs, because that is flat out insulting. (and even IF IJN DDs were so OP, pls look to St. Petersburg if you desperately need to blame someone) -> taken from: wows-numbers.com/ships/tree/type,destroyer/ (Keep in mind: No one asks to change any other ship. Many of us just ask themselves, why they are about to recieve the 4th change in a row (I say nerf) to their ships, having to adapt their playstyle. And still we have to vindicate and justify ourselves for it on a daily basis. If even the devs seem to think, we suck... this just hurts our pride at some point)

Sorry mate, that I keep pointing stuff like this out (and judging from your stats, I'd expected a tad more of a reflected opinion) but even among my friends it starts to tire me out, that everyone feels the need to lecture me and us (other Shima captains) without ever actually having sailed her. You surely are an exceptional DD-player. I admit that. But still having to research the Kagero, takes a big chunk of validity out your statements in the matter. (Which you're in desperate need of, if you want to call people "clueless") Again, it is just getting on our nerves CONSTANTLY having to be insulted in-game as being "noobs" and "lucker" or sth. like that (still think, envy is the most honest form of recognition... so if it was only the usual in-game insult of a sour loser, I'd take it as a compliment) Also hearing it from friends and reading stuff like that here... even the Devs seem to think Shima-guys are boring noobs. And all that after LOADS of buffs to torp-focused DD-play. If you then keep discovering, those people in many cases (like you just did) don't even know what they are talking about. And trust me, it sucks if everyone hates your favourite ship and feels the need to tell you every match, you're at least breaking even. To make matters worse, WE know, that being good in a Shima reliably, takes practice and more planning ahead, than on most other ships. (Statistics suggest the same) Still you don't hear us crying how OP the US-DDs are, do you? "Highest apha dmg"? Forgot a word... "POTENTIAL" (good thing you forgot about minor things like DPS) I'd be curious how many time a Shima hit every single torp... for your point being of any releveance. I hope, I speak for many Shima-friends and TO many people just like you, if tell you: Maybe you'll be the best Shima-player ever. Maybe. But for that, you'll have to become a Shima player in the first place. Easy to hate on Shima, if you are on the recieving end.

Should all ships get additional hull upgrades, regarding the USS Texas?
Doerte replied to Vaderan's topic in General Discussion
If you played WarThunder, you might know, they got it in there. In Warships this would be so much more fitting, since other people actually see each other's camos. So the bragging-rights (the young ones might call it "Swag" theses day) work much better. Spotting a Tirpitz in the distance just to realize, he has that "Norwegian Village Camo" for 500 battles (or another achievement) striking fear into her enemies, while making sinking her, feel all the more rewarding :-) -
Should all ships get additional hull upgrades, regarding the USS Texas?
Doerte replied to Vaderan's topic in General Discussion
In theory, this sounds like a great idea. If we are already making wishes, I'd even go a step further and consider the ships in the tree as "ship-classes" and these hull-upgrades being sth like rewards, that convert the class to represent a specifc ship within that class. (Yamato -> Musashi, Hipper -> Blücher/PE/Seydlitz etc) Or, leaning towards British traditions award ships with battle honours. This would add flavour to the gam (much like the Jolly Roger flag does) The latter being way easier to implement. Because WG has stated many times, how much work a single ship supposedly require (and therefore money) I suppose we will not see anything like that, soon. I expect these hullls (at least my proposition) to be a bit too much work in terms of research, balance and art to seem feasible at the moment. (Also we all know, iconic ships will likely be reserved as future premiums). Still, I like that idea a lot. Guess, we can all agree, that more customization-options would be a great way, to make a ship really "your own" provide motivation and longevity to the game. -
Doerte replied to Trigger_Happy_Dad's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

Survivability Expert underpowered for everything except DDs
Doerte replied to Mik1984's topic in General Discussion
Title says it all. I fully agree. That being said, That is just one offender in a series of "not so difficult choices" I expect some changes within the skills soon, again. But I'll still take a look at what I think about those skills seemingly no one uses: Last Stand? Another DD (mayyyybe CC/CA) only skill. But quite cheap. -> "You've gotten off this time, fella!" Fire Prevention? Needs at least some better explanation in order for people, to realize how little it actually does. ("7%" is not 7-WG%) -> Newbie-trap (how should casuals ever know that?) Incoming Fire Alert? Helpful if you are new to the game, but I know no-one, that did not take ti out at some point. Another newbie-trap, but it helps against tunnel-visioning (but more of a 1-point-skill) Super Intendent? Can be superb, but I still feel bad taking premium consumables (and I pretty much always take 1 with me), that basically provide me with that skill twice OR save 2 skill points. Hmm... :-/ Is that still fair? Forces people at some point to use those prem-consumables or live with that disadvantage. Manual Fire Control? Potentially strong, sure. But who sacrifices 4 skillpoints for such a situtional skill, if you can have AFT? At least, I think, if you spend that many points for an AA-build, you should have your AA fire at undesignated targets, too. Jack of all Trades? Well... Who'd waste FIVE skill points, if you could instead just take premium equipmen and be even better off? (kinda like superintend but for 2 more points... therefor even worse) That makes premium consumable pretty much able to potentially save you 8 skill-points. Again, a bit iffy. But WG has to get money from some mechanic. I get it. And the winner is: A "Secondaries-buff build" (even though everyone at least thought about it, since it sounds so awesome) It needs -Manual Fire Control for Secondary Armament 5+ -Advanced Firing Training 4+ -Basic Firing Training 1 with 15 skill points to be possible and 9 of those dedicated to that build, it better be worth it, right? Wrong! (in my mind), Those lazy dudes on your secondaries (many of which fire other ships main guns) don't even shoot at all, if you dont tell them too. So you lose that sound of your 2ndaries opening up, telling you a DD just popped up right next to you, while you were aiming. Ah... and it kinda is only worth a dime on BBs ... IJN BBs... IJN high-tier BBs . (Again, consider the skill-points needed. So it better should be more than just a very situational, which it is) These skills stand next to some of those absolutely awesome, borderline no-brainer-automic skills Air Supremacy on a CV, or Concealement as a DD or the alike. And frankly, it would be a lot cooler, if you'd sometimes see a fully pumped-up Secondary-Brawler-Iowa (maybe lacking AA because of that) or a fast'n'stealthy fleet-escort CV (maybe with smaller or weaker Squads) or sth cool like that. Instead we get pretty much just 1 or the other build... and dumb builds because people don't know better. I'd love to make some tough decisions. Would add so much variety to the game. -
(Having said sth pretty dumb in this forum today already, I'll try again) Dude, EVERY single time I get as near to a US or RU Cruiser in my Shima, I know what might happen. Yet, if I plan ahead, people only suspect me being around, if they see my torps. I personally think Radar is the best thought-out thing WG has implemented in a while... even if I fall prey to that once in a while. It encourages cohesive fleet-movement and supportive play. Solo-back sniping BBs? (Wonder why no one complains about those anymore?) Well... expect to get torped or CV-deleted. And for Radar and Sonar to actually be usefull, you DO need some skill. First you need the impression or information a DD might be around, after that you'll need the timing to actually make that duration count... and all that does not help at all, if you've not had the foresight to bring that thing with you after all. Ah... and a well-kept secret of Shima-players: We focus on BBs, not Cruisers. Therefore you need a DD going for a BB, and a Cruiser with Radar that is in range to guard the BB... and that is exactly what I call teamwork. I am all for skill-based mechanics in the game, but if we start talking about "no-skill-stuff" let us first get rid of those fighter/spotter planes that automatically swarm around every fleet. As a DD, one's not even able to tell how far that stupid thing is away to properly avoid getting detected. ("sorry guys! My eyes are only good enough to gauge the distance of CV-planes... ") With recent DD-nerfs, Radar and Sonar in place, why not get rid of THAT mechanic? Making CV-scouting finally viable/needed and Air-Supremacy-Setup something more than just a tool to troll other CV-players. And again: Encouraging supportive and cooperative team-play. I love my DDs, but Sonar and Radar are great, to do esactly that, too.

Know that feeling, when you publicly made a fool of yourself? Well... if not: Just look at me. Been looking for a fitting emoticon... there is none. I feel, like I deserve to not edit my prior post, just to make me look less like an idiot. Please prep those rotten bananas and foul apples people! There's an apology and a correction in order. So yes, I misinterpreted that translated quote of a dev's interview as your own words, directed at me (that I'd simply sailing my Shima to kill other people's fun at T10). And yes, I was butthurt... and also yes, that reply towards you was therefore pretty useless, as you are neither the one to blame for those changes, nor the one responsible for that (in my eyes still pretty silly) comment, nor was it even directed at me personally (but us Shima-guys, that use long-range torps). Coming back from Sunday's work did not help ease my temper, either. So here is me hoping you'll accept my apology, I'm sorry. [insert uncomfortable silence here] Also, just having played a few matches on the Public-Test-Server, I have to correct myself about those torps. In a post I read a few days ago, it was stated, the 20km torps are simply taken out of the game. That is simply not the case, but the stock 20km- and the 15km torp-class are nerfed, while those fast-yet-risky 8km torps were added as am extra option. Considering, we'd all stick with our old playstyle, this is still a(nother) nerf, but nothing that will drastically change the game, while giving 1 new risk-reward-option. Personally, I hate Torp-Sauce as anyone else. As do most Shima-players (how often do you torp a DD?) After the recent climb in Shimas in MM, I felt this were pretty much back to normal. Devs seem to disagree. With torp-speed skills used (8km torps ->6,4km) I am left with either having to invest those dubloons or a slight nerf. Over that, I will not use much sleep. But still, I don't feel, this was necessary at all. (Actually, with the speed-skill the average Shima-range in games should have decreased already) Implementing 20km-torps waaaaaay back and now calling those, who use it "unskilled and boring" buzzkillers is an unprofessional statement. (IF he actually said it like that and there was not some random Forum-person unable to read and quote correctly ... yeah, yeah... I deserve it) To finally say sth uplifting: The PT looks for some reason better, loads faster, runs way more stable on my system and I just dig those awesome new sinking-animations. So check it out! One last thing: Throw your fruits now!

Well... since you dragged this on a somewhat personal level, I might as well take some shots myself. To make the intention behind my "out of context" quotes clearer: While I might even believe, he devs are really trying to, as you put it I was quoting Ilya,to contrast that (and I am fully agreeing with him. Does not look all that out of context, I want to show, that I for my part don't think the devs will get, what they intended. To make matters worse, I don't see, why anyone would or should go on playing Shima (or the soon even worse) Kagero, if even the game developers consider torping people (and that is pretty much the ONLY thing a Kagero can do in a decent way) "boring" and an "unskilled" way to play. Yeah... thanks for the compliments. Feels good Wargaming! Good to see, that you criticise me for quoting you "out of context" and end in a statement like that. Double standards much? Just don't screw me over in such a cheap way, in the future. Helps keeping things rational. To rationalize this a bit further: You're making assumptions/suggestions how to play and even have the balls to judge those players reason behind simply playing (see above). Like Shima was some kind of teamkilling machine. Well... Iiya and me refrained from generalizing a certain type of player, their style of play, being as sensibles about "how to be quoted" (while the original post was a mere 200 pixels of "context" away) ...and to rub some salt into it, too... just 2 of these 3 people actually ever sailed the ships,we are talking about (giving their opinion in the matter some validity) Again, mate: We were all nice, no one offended you (especially since you pretty much have no idea, what we were talking about) or anyone. So please don't try to screw me over. So this should be sorted out now. While my whole post was quoted, I#m not really sure it was read and/or understood. So I rephrase. Saying torpedoing is "unskilled and boring" I wonder, why everyone was playing Shima. (Also, why WG would implyingly call all those people as being unskilled and boring) Next question: Out of Fubu, Kagero and Shimakaze... why does only Shima barely reach a server-wide win-rate of 50%, while the rest is below that? Even better: Out of Fletcher, Benson and Gearin... EVERY SINGLE one has better win-rate than the Shimakaze. Weird, huh? I can tell you, why that is: At tier X being good in a Shimakaze, is a bit more difficult than "laying that green thing over that white thing" and wait for the magic to happen. If a BB captain sails for 5 minutes in a straight line and gets hit by a torp, people point out lack of skill. If a Shima hits, people call me a low-life or sth liky you did all the time. Sounds wird, does it? Before the last patch, I had to consider all those planes in the air, Sonar and eventual course changes, for them to not get spotted ages in advance and actually hit at all. PATCH!!! Increase torp-spotting range. (I'm okay with that) And, hoping you'll actually read THIS post, I say again: I personally already had a lot of fun in my Shima. Took a bit of work, to actually get good in her. And since I dont consider taking my fragile torp boat at 6,5 km towards enemy ships, as an "aggressive playstyle" but a one-time-per-match sucide action, Neither do I think there is any skill involved, to guess if a Cruiser has Radar on board (rendering me dead even faster) or not. That, I consider luck. Therefore leaving me with only 2 of those "options of playstyle": Kamikaze or just playing a different Ship. So I will just stop playing my Shima (Especially as I don't want to waste those 475 Dubloons for re-skilling) at all. A bit sad, but okay. Last point: The is as wrong as you can get. (Again read other post) But I felt sorry for all the other people, grinding up the IJN-DD-tree. If you think, that is what playing Shima is all about... well, why are we even talking at all? To get to your last statement, of the next patch being incremental: How many Shimas do you still see per battle? Well, I can tell you: Not many? Why... look at above stats. People lose a lot in her and that is getting expensive at some point and annoying even faster. Making playing her even more difficult, was the addition of Radar. (Read post again: I DO consider a great addition to the game) Incremental changing would have been, in my opinon, waiting for these recnet changes to affect the matchmaking and not 3 big nerfs in a row. Mark my words. Shima will be buffed back again, in some months. I just fear, many will not care anymore. Dear Xerkics: Go play some Shima! After that play her without bleeding lots of money. After that, rethink the way you judge people... read posts if you want so be constructibve in an ongoing discussion and after that we can talk again. Your greatest fan, Doerte XOXOXOXO

Btw... just a quick question in terms of strengths and weakneses: What exactly will the niche for IJN hight-tier DDs be in the future? Since those close range torp-surprises (we will have to rely on, soon) are totally possible for US DDs, too... just added that they got more HP, better AA, way better guns and can also stealth-fire. Wait for it: Shima will get nerfed, just to be buffed back again, later. But I am not sure how many of us will still be here to notice.

Kann nur wiederholen, was andere sagen. Als DD auf Herrschaft objektorientiert fahren. Also fleißig Basen einnehmen. Gutes Gelingen. P.S.: "Schaden" meint relative, prozentuale Hitpoints.

"Play the way you want but it has to be like THIS!" Sounds contradicting to me. I agree with Ilya and will probably just stop playing Shima. Since my Captain is maxed out, the end of the tech-tree is reached and I don't convert XP for money. Only reason to take out a Ship that costs a good 250-350.000 credits if destroyed, is just for fun. Take out the fun and there is no reason left to play Shima at all. Another dead Tier 10. Let's put her where the Montana is. I feel for those guys that are grinding their way up the tech-tree to get their Shima... only to see it nerfed big time. (I'd be pissed) That is discouraging and understandably sad for many looking forward to that legendary ship. (Guess if I want some long-range torp play, I should go back to my tier 2 Umikaze... because she'll outrange my Shima soon) Another thing that is really odd in terms of a learning curve and game-desing, is that you've just learned to play IJN DDs perfectly... only to realize, that Tier IX-X is pretty much back to Minekaze. I'd tell people to just stop at Fubuki and stick with it. This whole thing just makes me sad, since at this point, we could've expected sth like this. Incremental balancing? Nah!!... we have a big hammer. So after Cruisers roasting everyone (last year), BBs not being able to hit anything (end of 2015), Cruiser AA being useless (Jan/Feb) and seemingly endless times CV players had to relearn their ships. Now it was time, the DDs now get the shaft. Should have seen it coming. Thing is... with many people using Sonar and the implementation of Radar (being an effective way to counter DD swarming) I was pretty happy with the way WG handled this. DD numbers have dropped quite a bit since then. Guess WG seems to disagree. If this update is really coming, it just proves again, that WG simply do not know, how they want this game to be. Warships still has a lot of other problems that need fixing (e.g. magically disappearing chat messages anyone?) We accepted weird stuff like those awfull screaching-, or deafening beep a while back, that were removed again after 1 day. As if no testing was done. Weird, but whatever... But I really, really can't understand, why the balancing is done in such a poor manner again and again. And every time the results are the same. Another big group of people is sad, angry or just confused. Me for my part, suffering from horrible performance every 2nd-or-so patch for months now, too... I am just starting to get disillusioned. Really want to love this game, but boy... it works hard not let me.

Well... I've recently considered, promoting my trusted 18-Points-Shima captain to teacher at the Imperial Navy School and replace him with a 15-Points captain, since the "greenhorn" would all the skills I consider necessary while still being able to gain new Skills. (And that old guy will not -> wasted XP) Readig those patch-notes, I delayed that plan, since WG (i think) said, free re-training will not be available. I can only tell you, what I personally would do. Pre-Radar: I'd have considered going for 8km torps, but now Post-Radar-Implementation (which I think REALLY helps the game): I consider 8km as way too risky. If you run into radar at that range, you're as good as dead. So that leaves those 8km too situational in my mind, too be a good choice. BUT 8km range with my captain (sacrificing 20% range for +5knots) would leave my captain with 6.4km torp range... and that is in the ranges of a bad joke for a TierX-DD. Getting to the point of said joke: 15km torps (nerfed)->12km -20% (current capatin skillset) leaves my mighty Shima with a MAX torp range of 9,6km. Unless I don't re-skill. (I would for sure... 18x25 Gold down the drain. love it!) I personally think, this leaves only one single torp-skill-combination, that looks even remotely usefull. And that would take a lot of fun out of the meta-game for me. Being given 4 possible "choices", of which 3 are useless. Leaving just 1 no-brainer to chose, is bad game-design. To conclude: If these numbers are true, I'll test my Shima a bit... and leave her in the harbor, until she get's buffed again. (did that with old Furutaka, while she sucked. Did that with NO while a.s.o.) That said: By now, all of this is pure speculation and we'll only know, if the patch arrives. Let us hope, we will not get another patch, that alters the game in such a drastic way, it ends up breaking it somewhere else. Until then, I'll have a tea. Anyone care for a biscuit? See you on the High Seas! EDIT: thx gr0pah for the hint

nuff said! and thx for making me take a break today as well, because I had to laugh so hard (and also serious thx! ;-) Mate, look at the time. I don't know about you, but the old and rusty barges among us were with a good certainty at that stupid Win2Pay-Game called "work".

Sorry, had to stop reading mid-post because of danger of an imminent brain-shutdown. Think I still got the memo. So far I played around 12+ games with Sa(i)pan. It never stood out in a particular way. Half of those matches I was in game with a Div-mate. playing it. He said, it was fun and a good CV. But that said: He is at least "very good" with pretty much any CV. So I really cannot confirm, what you said. Never felt extraordinary. And that feeling is called "balance". (duh!) Because I'm nosy and you started this topic, I glanced over your stats. Seems your CV results are average. Keep in mind, that those 62+% CV-lovers are more likely, to buy premium-CV. Therefore you are more lilkely to be matched up against one of those dudes in your T7 CV. If you are not one of those great CV-freaks yourself (and you ain't) you'll likely get stomped. With our without Sapan, Japan, Satan... whatever So dry your tears and get used to asking your team for support! I'd also try to be less dramatic than you were in this post. Might help, too.

Just a quick reply to the so called "Lemming train" people keep talking about: Some people consider a "lemming train" to get worse with increasing number of players that follow it. Thing is: I consider a "train" of 9-10 ships rushing 1 flank of the map, not a "Lemming Train" but a Fleet. Your experiences may differ, but I feel, as if the more cohesive and faster team almost always wins. And that is pretty much exactly the type of coordination and strategy, that WOWS should promote. If you've played some team-battles, you'll know what I mean. Fleet cohesion, combined movement and coordinated fire. Don't know much about Lemmings, but I am pretty sure, they don't do that. So, it would be nice, if dead people, that were overrun, because they did not follow the main fleet, could refrain from calling the others a "Lemming Train". Even better: We bury this term on the bottom of the ocean alltogether.

And there was me, thinking I am overreacting. I have been playing almost exclusively Tier 8-10 lately and only rarely has there been any of these adrenalin-injected clutch-finish games, that leave you either hyped or with a Vader-like "NOOOOO!" These games are, why I love WoWs so much. Recently either my, or the enemy team steam-roll the opponent from beginning to end. No excitement in that. After a few battles, not even in winning. I get, that with the last big WOT-update, many of the hard-core players have switched back to WoT. But to me, I feel as if WG is trolling me if MM sets 5 Shimas vs. 2 Bensons in a game without CVs. You can't shoot, what you can't see. Usually during those games, the "5-Shimas-will-ruin-your-day-team" already apologizes and utters its condolences in advance, before (as mentioned above) the "I see nothing except 50 torps"-team gets wrecked in 7-10 minutes. This even ain't fun, if I am 1 of those 5 Shimas myself. We can't expect (and most of us don't) MM to always be perfect. And even if it would, there will still be those "yeah, thx WG"-whinos that rage in public chat for the full duration of battle. (No one likes those guys anyway) BUT (no matter if Team Red or Team Green wins),what really kills my the fun, is MM that leaves 1 whole team with a feeling of defeatism right from the get-go only to be proven right. (You know.. because they get utterly destroyed) Am I weird for not even ejoying those battles, my team wins without losing 1 single ship? To put this into perspective, if you do not play Tier X: Those guys are in many cases not there to grind XP (already maxed out the tree), nor to earn much money, since Tier X without premium can be hit-n-miss, even losing quite a few 100.000 credits, if all goes wrong. No, those guys are simply there for the fun, tactics and to test their skills vs. other high-tier captains. And if that is taken away from high-tier battles, it pretty much eliminates their sole purpose for many of us. At least it does for me. So, to ask again: Am I weird for not even ejoying those battles, my team wins without losing 1 single ship?
