I realise this mate, I truly do, it was a little tongue in cheek stuff is all. I know how hanzee gets all emotional when I bully him , so I'm teaching him a few life skills, haha. That said, it makes perfect sense if we want to be taken seriously in terms of feedback from public testing, then a serious answer is due based on rationality and objectivity. Emotional remarks based on personal sentiment are seldom seen as effective. Hopefully all here will be old or wise enough to appreciate this notion.

I think most of 'your colleagues' ignore this forum because they regard themselves as the 'priveledged few' no doubt. Mixing with the plebs is below their standards? Me. I wanted the scharnhorst and gremy but never got them. That said, I'm happy with the Lo yang, kutuzof, texas, arizona, marblehead and indianapolis. We're never content and every day it burns me to maybe get another container, but it'll be flags / camo, other rubbish, haha.

Man, trying to figure WG out in any shape or form is like looking into a maelstrom of confusion, once you gaze into the vortex you'll never be the same again. If I were you I'd heed the warning and make a u-turn and don't look back or you'll turn into a pillar of salt.

I've run out of money after spending gazillions and only getting 6 ships - early when the craze started, and then fell victim to greed and bought more only to build up stock on a lot of silly camo's and flags. @OP - sorry to hear of your misfortune, but this is not a solution to your problems It's only slight relief of the symptoms. WG appear to have nerfed the drop rate badly and hardly anyone is getting anything of real value. It's simply not worth it anymore. My advice to you is 'do not go there', it's a one way street.

Indeed. With the new years camo they could at least have assigned the usual detection and accuracy benefits to them as with the usual. It basically means I can only use the 100's I have on battleships? Is this WG's way of telling us there are not enough people playing bb's? Another good idea poorly implemented tbo.

@Ph3lan: Surely, when one conducts an experiment as you say this is, you do not conduct an experiment on the overall intended demographic and leave out a group small enough to actually be considered a test group. In other words, if this was experimental, why was it not conducted on a small test group, i.e. one server group and then if it failed to work out then WG would know not to proceed further. Instead we have the EU being the only group left out of the so-called experiment meaning the 'experimental' thing was carried out on 3 of your 4 server groups (if I'm correct) leaving out a single group. Is it not clear enough how that single group would now feel. I personally think the whole 'experimental' thing is window dressing a bad bad situation - I'm also fairly certain we are intelligent enough to know that this is a really poor excuse. There are enough analogies to clarify the very real and justified disappointment many here feel. No amount of cover stories can make this any better and the damage is done. I feel that there is no going back on this. The EU has been alienated and there is no rational explanation that can alleviate the frustration. There is no grey area here, it's black or white. What else are the EU to feel other than being completely disregarded in this manner, and knowing it was deliberate makes it even worse. I seriously think a lot of respect has been lost here. I can only hope it translates into lost revenue for WG. You DO NOT punish someone because they've proven to be a lucrative customer base, you reward them or show them appreciation and respect. Right about now, as a customer, I tend to feel unappreciated by WG. How this translated in reality is something I'll let WG guess, but I can tell you that if I feel uncomfortable or unfairly treated in a place, then I no longer feel like I belong in that place and will leave 'that place'. It irritates me there is no credible answer, and that we are given poor, hindsight excuses following a major backlash after mistreatment. We were mistreated, pure and simple, and not for some experimental thing, but so the 'company' could capitlise on their known cash cow server group. Enough is enough for me.

There is technically no reason why there should be regional differences in terms of ingame missions. I understand the market driven approach with regard to some aspects such as weekend specials, etc, but WG have made a point time and time again over the years (starting with WoT) of failing to show fairness across the server groups, no matter how they justified their actions. I'm not discounting the fact they have treated us very well with regard to other things, but have they ever thought to ask themselves why people truly get pissed off with them? Do they honestly not realise just how much bigotry they are promoting by inequality in this regard? Is this their intent, to promote anger and frustration directed at them and toward others, because they are acheiving this without any forethought. Whatever their strategy, it clearly has consequences and in this case not good ones. I have no anger toward the community team, I already find them far more savvy and empathetic than their counterparts in WoT. I have met them and they're really nice folks, and much of what is happening is not their doing so we do need to stop the witch hunt. If you folks really really really want action of some kind the ONLY WAY is to stop paying money to WG, but this in itself is only effective if it is widespread, and cohesion of this sort is not possible on the EU server with so many divided nations, so many different attitudes and languages and forums. In short, the EU server has been grabbed by the balls and until we speak with one voice there is nothing that can be done IMHO. All we can do is use these forums to voice concerns and hope for the best. Clans represent larger groups of players than we have on the forums, so if clans got together with an EU wide mandate then perhaps something might happen, but until then we're all farting against thunder.

This was by far the most difficult to complete. I finally did it. I was stuck on 12 and then played the kutuzov and tirpitz repeatedly. I got 3 lucky games with 2 russians kills in each (without even trying, lol - they appeared at the right time right place), then a further 2 from two random games. So in a sense it can come quickly or slowly, mine came fast at the end and now I'll play my kutuzov to help others get the kills they need. It's a win win, I make credits, they get the kill (if they can).

It's because something is motivating him to complain about it. There is something he wants and it has now been made difficult for him. To make such a ruckus about 100% bonus reeks of an alterior motive of some kind.

Folks, there are far worse things happening in the world to worry about silly things like this. Really, enjoy what you have, be thankful you have what you have, and feel sorry for those who have far less. It is what it is. Maybe it would have cost nothing to have done something more, but it doesn't bug me at all. There are loads of other bonuses / missions going on. We all want stuff for free, I realise this, but so far WoWs community teams have put in far more effort and shown to be much more considerate than at WoT. We're a small community here at WoWs, let's keep with the family feeling rather than becoming toxic and angry. I know, I've been there done that too, but perhaps we should simply accept what is and be done with it.

I know right? Personally I'm very happy with the way things have gone. I didn't expect double xp win bonuses, but so far WG have offered some great rewards for doing very little, not to mention the challenge for a free Graf Spee. I think in this case many are simply being too ungrateful.

Spent around £50 (birthday and xmas present to myself) and got a good return. Really hoped for the scharnhorst (which I drooled over getting) but got Indianapolis, arizona, texas, marblehead, kutuzov, lo yang and a shed load of camo's, a little dubloons, signals galore, etc. Overall I cannot complain, I got over £150 worth of stuff for 50£. A good deal and thanks to WG for making this error (unless it was intentional of them to fuel the hype by stirring up a craze for santa boxes.) It was win win for me. I'm only sorry others are experiencing bad luck and it would be poor of WG to stealth nerf it. If an error I can understand, but not if intentional. I actually had a dream that night that WG has recognised the error and cancelled most transactions, woke up feeling disappointed but in a sense relieved I didn't lose any money, haha.

Why keep doing it? Seriously, you've spent enough to have purchased those premium ships in the first place. Don't spend money this way unless you're prepared to lose it, a rule of gambling.

Haha, that was a good game. I hung around that cap because I had spotted a dd closeby but underestimated the bugger in his tier 10 ruskie dd. He juked around all over the place making it hard to land a shot but I started wittling him down until he citadelled me when I turned for what I thought would be the kill shot on him...only it was my own death. Well played mate.
