My Gearing just landed 9 torps hits in a game which gave me great pleasure. Pleasure you say? Well yes Sir, because all 9 hits were on enemy BB''s. The crying game then ensued and I handed out handkerchiefs to wipe their teary little eyes. I then patted them on the back and told them not to worry because I'll be playing my cruiser next game and they can have revenge. I then took out my Gearing again, although I didn't see them in the next game. The moral of the story you ask? Well Sir, patience please, I'm getting there. The moral of the story is 'there is no moral to the story' - I simply enjoyed sending babyfaced straight line sailing BB noobs to the ocean floor. Am I a bad person now?

Does it really matter that much?

If I follow your thinking here then I would like to go further and bad anyone with a below 50% win rate form randoms and force them to play coop. But since this is unrealistic and unfair it's also not fair to ban clans from randoms, since there is no difference between clan members playing in a division versus non-clan members playing in a division. Just fight harder is all and wait until you have games with a good division on your team.

I hear you and I agree in part, but I'm a sceptic in the sense that WG may look at this issue from a diffrent perspective, perhaps take an account of the overall credit economy to see how many people have a similar issue to you. The credit economy in the game is intricisically linked to their real world economy in many ways and as such too many virtual credits floating around may signify (to them) the need to regulate it more. Sure, they may do this anyways since it's info they have readily available, but having players themselves start asking for more options to spend their excess credits on only highlights the issue more? I'm looking at it from Wot experience and how the economy was so restricted there over time. The overriding issue here seems to be players who play a lot cannot spend their credits on anything more since expanding the ships lines are slow in the making. The last thing I want is for wargaming to restrict anything, and while I see your point I am concerned that what you want and what WG does will be two very different things, because first and foremost in their collective minds is real world income. There has to be incentive to keep playing the game too and if players find it too hard to make credits, or in your case become bored with too many credits, then they may possibly change 'something'. From experience though WG have tended to follow a 'slash and burn' philosophy, i.e. grab what money they can as and when they can, and have been very slow on adding incentive for long term veteran players. There have never been schemes for loyal players, nor rewards for long term support of their games that I know of. Other than this, it may be a 'damned if we do, damned if we don't' scenario, because if we don't ask we won't receive and if we do ask we may not get what we asked for.

If you're grinding there are things to spend credits on, and if someone has researched all the ships then kudo's to them, but perhaps they've played a lot more than most have. 1st world problems? Therein lies the bitter irony. First world problems appear not silly, but completely and utterly ridiculous, and numerically small in proportion to those of the 'third world' - those of us with no millions to spend. It sounds like the OP is a victim of his own success and now wants more. Sure it won't harm anyone so who are we to deny his lust for extra flavour, but in reality WG would be more inclined to nerf something to sink credits if 'many' people suffer from the OP's oversupply problem. This is going to be a simple case of 'careful what you wish for'. Walk down this road and the result may not be what is expected.

Queen liz class aka warspite (starting a conspiracy)
Shaka_D replied to Black_Prince42's topic in General Discussion
The only thing desperately needed on the Warspite is an increase in turret turning speed and better AA. -
I'm not having his problem either and I don't see his point - he'll end up giving WG ideas to have the income rate nerfed making it harder for those of us struggling with credits. I also don't play as much as him so don't want to work twice as hard to earn credits. It's sounds like he needs a therapist to deal with his hoarding problem, not a credit sink. The only idea I like is perhaps unique ships for credits, maybe extorionate amounts of credits to please the wannabe tycoons in our ranks. Other than this, it's fine as is. He should count himself lucky he has so much, not complain about it ffs. Shows just how silly people can be, we wish for more, we get more, we're not satisfied with more, so we want something else.

To you too Mr. Spartan Sir.

Ahoy ahoy, Would anyone else support me in a request to have the option to very simply remove all signal flags from all ships with one click. I have so many ships in port and many have signal flags on them. I would really enjoy the feature to click a single button to remove all flags from all ships. Sometimes when running low of some signal flags it's nice to take stock of what we have (although after the santa gift malarky I have 100's and 100's). Seems a simple feature to implement? Or am I being dense because there may be an option that already exists and I'm missing it or it's been asked and refused? Happy new year peoples of the sea. I'll be celebrating with many a glass this evening due to birthday time and new years so if you see me sailing straight it's because I'm plastered. Forgiveness is being asked in advance. Edited based on a few collective ideas so far: option to remove all signal flags from a single ship option to remove all signal flags from all ships option to remove camo without it being destroyed - the present scenario from WG is a little cruel. option to send crew to original ship as in Wot?

One 'button' to rule them all - signal flags
Shaka_D replied to Shaka_D's topic in General Discussion
Epic, lets hope WG visits this topic and perhaps forwards the notion on. It can only add to the experience, making managing one aspect of the port easier. -

What's that? How long you reckon they'd take to develop this feature? Lol. -

Sssh, you'll have people thinking I'm an idiot...Now, where in my black book of people who I most want revenge on did I put you? Oh yes, page 1, and page 2, wait page 3 too....ffs, not even looking at page 4. -

Happy new year Aircraft carrier content for all
Shaka_D replied to julmatar's topic in General Discussion
i have 3 x tier 7 carriers in my port. Last time I checked I was reasonably sane too. Nice initiative OP. Maybe some of those taking part can help you iron out some of the finer details. -
Loads of people got good ships very early on, but the next day many reported that ships becaome rare (speculating that WG nerfed the drop rate heavily). Nothing like driving marketing toward santa gifts by allowing a small flood of ships and then capping the well. The hype and news would spread with people still trying their luck in the hope of getting lucky. It was this or WG messed up and corrected their error shortly after.

German BB's are making me want to quit this game...
Shaka_D replied to Cheeselord18's topic in General Discussion
OP we need variety in the game, all ships have their strengths and weaknesses (although some ships are all about being weak). That said, get good at playing bb's because at the moment there are 1000's of potato bb players floating around. You don't need a stronger ship to beat them a lot of the time, you just need experience and a brain. I just killed 3 bb's in my north carolina. Near the end of the game I was in we had had 1 cruiser, 4 bb's versus 1 cruiser 4 bb's and it became a slug fest to the finish. My NC took down 2 bismarcks and a tirpitz (or was it 2 bismarcks and an amagi - heat of battle stuff) trading blow for blow (and a little help with rng) but if the player does not know how to use his OP ship he may as well be steering a tugboat. And these guys were tugboats. -
Silly to reroll your account simply to have an account without any arp ships in it when you can simply untick the box in the filter settings. The reroll motive might be a case of 'wanting to start a more pro account now that you can play the game a little better so you can build up epic stats'?????

Why am I getting tier 9 and 10 BB's in my teams with win rates of 42%, 44% and less. Why do the enemy teams keep getting bb players with higher than 52 and 53%? 2 days of this [edited]now and it's starting to really piss me off. No close games, just whitewashes. #sickofbraindeadmoronsplayingabb.. Carrying one or 2 braindead bb players is ok, but when teams have 5 or 6 of them each side then technically half the team is braindead and it's impossible to carry anything.

My initial post was mocking and very much tongue-in-cheek. I am in no way bothered by not getting a flag. The only flag I care about is my alpha tester flag with it's small perks. Other than this I have many useless aesthetic flags gathering dust in my port and do not want any more unless they actually contribute in some way. Flags to me are one of the most pointless additions to this game in that: we have so many floating around you can only use one at a time they add no value to the game other than a tiny aesthetic thing no-one spends time looking at They sit in our ports for only us to see Why so many people are obsessed with flags I will never know, it might be a collectors thing, but all in all it's not really worth anything? Until flags start adding something of real value to gameplay, or we can fit more than one at a time - almost like campaign medals splashed onto the side of our ships - only then will I start to care about them.

Wargaming please stop doing this to me(us)...
Shaka_D replied to _FTD_'s topic in General Discussion
You might have blown up my ship in battle, but on this I will agree with you +1 -
So with all the money I've spent supporting the game I'm not regarded as a valuable player? Well that stinks wargaming, that really stinks. Talk about a really &*^%ed up way of appreciating your playerbase.
-
Indeed. Bastion on hotspot is an utter failure, RDF skill will no doubt gather negative feedback and still be implemented, convoy missions are the ultimate insult to the EU playerbase. All in all, three strikes for wargaming. Talk about demotivating your playerbase in 3 quick steps. The end result, the community team will 'forward it all on' - like that mythical beast the unicorn and we'll hear no more other than it was all 'experimental'. Makes you wonder what we're still doing here doesn't it? At what point do we reach the threshold where it overides our love of all things ship-like? Sad sad days ahead with more russians ships before anything else, lots of ships still in testing (Tone anyone?), more false promises and pointless changes. I'm still enjoying it apart from the massive massive losing streak today, and my little lucky run with santa gifts got me happy for a bit, but the meat of the game is in the gameplay and if they wreck this for me I'll have to sing you all 'so long, farewell, afiedersen adieu' - terrible spelling I know. My threshold usually hits me by surprise, but it's not there yet. One day I might decide enough is enough, but not yet....not yet...(oooh, so many movie references)

Suggestion: New daily (container) reward - "Convert xx amount of XP"
Shaka_D replied to Stugga's topic in General Discussion
Sounds like you're looking at new ways to support your gambling addiction? When the free xp runs out, what's next? The children? Fellow gamers personal details? (By the way, I'd give out all of Bushwacker001's dirty secrets for free - you guys just have to ask)
