    Yes, like the 44% win rater in his yorck in a recent ranked battle on my team refusing to learn anything. Teams get dragged down by these players. Carrying is hard and we shouldn't have to do it all the time, it sucks the fun out of gameplay and soon any rational person reaches their threshold.

    I watched 57, 58, 56% win raters yoloing straight through the cap in ranked battles all by themselves, myokos, scharnhorsts and dd's. I could not believe what I was seeing from players who should simply know better. What the hell is going on here, games thrown in minutes by yolo artists with such high overall win rates. What is the thinking here, are these people real?

    Last night was a miracle. As per usual I played for two containers, both were supercontainers, one with a speedboost module for dd's and the other 30 or so dragon flags. Did anyone else get super conts last night?
  7. Made 40mil, and then spent it on two new ships and all upgrades. Here one second, gone the next, but they look amazing in my port.

    Yes, it seems WG have started to lose the plot, and not just a little. We're apparently too stupid to notice these things. They'll continue to use the phrase 'great rewards', although there's a serious decline in their performance and sincerity of late. Is this ship headed the same way as Wot?

    What I generally do is use my torps and guns. Torps are great in a duel with another dd in that they serve to distract him, meaning most of the time he takes his focus off firing at you trying to dodge your torps allowing you a slight advantage. Bear in mind you may have to evade his torps too but I've killed many dd's that way. Torps fired nice wide spread, and lacing them with fire during a slightly angled retreat, hit and run and return. DD's battles in the cap zone are often like a game of chicken. See who cracks and runs first.
  10. With all due respect to WG, is it only me who thinks the mission difficulty / requirements at certain levels far exceed the rewards given? I mean, I'm not even remotely attracted to the missions. Perhaps free players are, given many of them need every lilttle bit of help they can get, but the rewards are lame. Signals, consumables and camo's are simply the same over and over and over again and the only thing changing is the mission difficulty, which seems to be getting more and more particular in the fulfillment requirements. We get a new mission theme, similar but incrementally more difficult missions, yet the rewards vary pathetically little, same crap, just a different day. Signals, camos, etc, it's all the same. I mean, look at the different themed camos too. Just how many camo's have the exact same benefits but only look different. Is this meant to mean something? Nah, I won't even bother bitching about this particular mission set too much. They lack imagination, and the difficulty does not justify the reward structure. I couldn't be arsed for more signals or camo's. If this is all they have to offer then I guess the missions in the future will simply be more and more of the same. Unique flags would be nice, but other than that it's downright boring. I never chase these types of missions anymore and they add nothing exciting toward my experience of the game. I make enough credits to run my game, gather sufficient signals here and there, and have tons of camo to last me forever. Just my personal point of view, and exactly how I feel. Maybe because I can afford premium time and a few odds and ends now and then, which highlights another important point. To which demographic of the playerbase are wargaming aiming these mission sets? Sure, harder missions for more skilled (more lucky perhaps) players, yet the early ones easier for casual players, but for me as a premium player with a little cash now and then it adds no value. Spoiled brat? No, just being truthful. They just don't excite me enough. I'm not travelling a proverbial 1000 miles just to be given a glass of water at the end of the journey. If I make this journey I want a damned glass of something tasty.

    169000 damage in my kamikaze R and still lost. Got killed by the last of the 2 remaining enemy ships. Player skill is a rare thing these days. Not sure how much fun this is going to be from now on. I'll only be playing ranked on the 10th, no more randoms for a while I reckon, someone left the door open and all the crap entered, ushered in by WG with their master plan to reduce the game to one promoting an 8bit arcade mentality..

    So let me get this straight, WG punches you in the face 10 times and then gives you a single pat on the back and you say 'thank you for the pat on the back'? Seems legit. I won't thank them for removing something that was obviously a hideous addition to the game. They listen to one thing so we thank them for it, they fail to listen to most other stuff and then what? Nah, thanking them is pointless and obsequious, and definitely not deserved.

    RPF - anyone using it?

    DD's are the only ships able to affectively counter the spamfest of BB's in the game so let them ruin it for as many BB players as they can, and yes, I do use RDF on quite a few of my ships. I find it makes hunting and killing dd's very easy, and indirectly warns me from which direction I could expect torps from. Late game RDF is a game changer in that hunting that last elusive ship just becomes childsplay...it used to be rocket science but this didn;t please the mindless plebs and WG who wanted quick turnaround games. It never was and is still not needed, so why did the questionable devs at WG add it? Not because we wanted it, but because they wanted it for some very strange stupid screwed up reason. It has changed my impression of the game a lot since it's introduction, in a direction I no longer like.

    I can only agree with the way many here are saying things are going currently. A lot of games I am playing result in quite a large difference between the teams at the end, with one team being quite convincingly stronger. I hardly see any close games. Not sure why this is but my guess is possibly indirectly related to the prevalence of so many bb players in every game, with most of them being truly pathetic. A team with a couple fo good BB players can steamroll through the enemy and we already know that WG does nothing to balance teams in terms of play skill distribution. With the introduction of the stupid rdf skill I wouldn't be surprised if this has helped change things for the worse. Wanted to play a few games tonight but decided not to because last few days have been atrocious, not to mention before I went away over a week ago. Can't really bring my enthusiasm levels up to what they used to be. The game seems worse and it's not observation bias leading me this way either. Too many games are uneven, quickly decided and not fun. You can only carry the mindset of 'oh well, let me farm xp' to a certain extent before it becomes hopeless. The object of the game is too win to reap more rewards, but when the games are so short it takes from the fun and people start to give up hoping for a better game the next turn. I wish I knew what WG are trying to prove here but I wish they'd stop toying around and think properly for once. Bringing in new players and allowing them to rush up the tiers at the expense of learning the game properly is taking from the fun and counter-productive which affects more experienced players negatively.

    Nah, it's all hot wind, I sometimes cry after a game and test peoples reactions (if that makes sense), kind of like trolling them after they killed me. I'm a bad loser sometimes, especially if hit with lots of consecutuve losses. The 'victim' in this case handled himself very well.

Guess I let my competitive nature get the better of me sometimes and it's often easier to blame someone else for our own failures. Don't remember the game at all, but that text...it can only be me.   24. BAsically the skill is there to help pathetic brainless bobs find the closest enemy ship...apart from all the more vaild reasons put forward in this post. It's not needed and only implemented because WG have their previously discussed agenda. This does not improve game quality, it actually take a lot away from it. Well done WG, you're truly scraping the bottom in terms of ideas. Why not just hire new people with fresh creative ideas and fire the hacks who came up with this one?

    Yes, we know the hood suffered from a catastrophic detonation, but we also know she suffered from the same fate other battlecruisers suffered from due to design ommisions. Most other ships were not constructed in the same way. Also, we are referring to ingame detionations, not history. So my one word to you is - dope!
