People reporting wrongful bans are not necessarily lying, but its hard to prove. But equally, anyone saying the system works fine or that there are no wrongful bans or 'no known cases' are equally wrong. Is not someone reporting a potential wrongful ban on the forums in itself a known case, although unvalidated? So here you are grossly incorrect. Just because someone says something doesn't make it so, and that goes for WG or players, therefore trying to create discourses either way is manipulative or desperate. So all in all, there are a lot of wrong people in this thread....those that say they were banned unfairly and those saying that maybe they were deserving of the ban and the system works fine...I don't see validated evidence either way. I know from my own experience (and I reinforce subjectivity) that I deserve many of my bans, no argument there, but there are a fair few when a ban popped up when I hadn't spoken, hadn't argued, hadn't said or done much at all other than possibly kill someone in a division or perhaps outplayed someone and they reported me. I lost karma points tonight while still serving the sentence of a ban which ends friday. And I only played a few games. Not said a word, never obstructed anyone, nothing, believe me or not, I can only report my conscience. Is this a system based on sound principles? I guess not, but then again, the system is only as fair and balanced as WG, their sock puppets, players and forumites say it is.

So how does it work then, do steam versions of the game run competely separate from non-steam versions of the game, i.e. different servers, different playerbases?

Credits yes, but boring for me. I think WG are trying to fill the gap inbetween events / releases. All seems a bit boring now and tier 5 is so meh! All I could muster was a yawn, but there are some who no doubt love the idea. Not my cup of tea.

It's their life indeed, but who says we shouldn't be allowed to say what we think of their unhealthy obsession? We can't walk through life ignoring the things obviously going wrong with the preamble it's none of our business and we should not judge. Holy moly, the world would have ended a long time ago were it not for people making judgement calls to counter other peoples poor judgement calls. However, if we judge we should be prepared to be judged in return..such is the nature of coup contrecoup.

I'd say the guy at the top needs a doctor, and fast. It's a really sad situation to be so utterly driven to play so many games with the only reason being you want to be number one on a leaderboard of something that offers absolutely no recognition or reward at all, and which in fact only draws gasps of incredubility at the serious dumbness of it all. The idea this guy is a human defies all common sense...what a sad life they must lead.

Man, I was raised fairly religious, so to me when I saw people with 666 in their name or as a clan tag I felt offended and even triggered at times. But any response from me was then just me being arrogant and self-righteous thinking everyone should adhere to my beliefs and principles. People are free to believe what they want, as long as they don't deliberately promote or enact hatred or break laws. I see the principle you are referring to, but ethical values are not law until written into law so to speak. To be totally honest I'm not overly fussed by the addition / amendment to the Soviet tech tree - I have no problem with it - we'v been getting other nations here and there and all in all it's more content that we can all access and play....and Moskva and Kirov become premiums..that's not a bad thing surely? I know many are waiting for other nations, but there is time for all that later. I never thought I'd quote this given how much I have come to hate the phrase, but folks 'it's only a game'.

Losing games wouldn't matter as much if the game and many of the mission requirements etc weren't so wincentric. WG don't want people to get salty, they don't want flaming, insulting, frustration, etc yet they create the very recipe required to promote such things......can a developer be so blind? People subject to negative impacts / experiences, especially when they may not be the cause thereof, will at some point experience negative feelings and may as a result act on them.....this is why swearing to me is sometimes ok, venting in game and after...though I never wish anyone ill, harmed or dead as many do. We're only human, but WG have yet to learn this beyond their steely, emotionless, void of all humanity exterior and interiors.

I'm more interested in the fact you got 2 supercontainers so soon after each other. As for the flags, I'm fairly sure you're misremembering because if you don't use the flags that often how certain can you be on what the exact values were before the super containers...unless you are an accountant with a disorder and spend every day tallying up your flags? Good luck resolving this, but I suspect you are misremembering and becoming a little neurotic about it. They're virtual things that don't count for anything and you say you dont use them anyways.

Yep, same. The odd's from newman seem way too high I reckon. Not dismissing him at all, but at the current drop rates, having 7 ships from daily crates seems nigh on impossibe for me....sigh

Devonshire seems tanky to me although it needs to be to get close enough to use the guns, especially against higher tiers, but it's perhaps not tanky enough. Burns something fierce though.

Sry, I didn't state myself clearly. I have had the experience of having a few games in which very inexperienced cv players (overall bad players) have managed to decimate my dd with the rockets and bombs despite my weaving - and smoking up seems like an absolute waste against a cv player who keeps coming back time and again when your smoke takes ages to recharge...., even with lower tier cv's. Although my sample size is small and based on my experience, it's still reinforces to me that cv's and dd's are horribly balanced against each other, with cv's negating dd gameplay with minimal risk to the cv player. DD's have already lost tactical gameplay against the numerous radar ships and RPF which render smoke pointless and capping extremely difficult. Now we have cv's which hold an overwhelming advantage over dd's...so it seems the only class in this game thats relatively safe against everything is the bb, and we all already know how many windlowlickers love playing those. So has WG favoured the bb? It definItely seems so..this is their most popular class I reckon.

This statement is total nonsense.Try think about it a little more. Most DD's have no to little defence against cv's, it's a sad fact, but a fact nonetheless. When I complained about this people offered the usual brainless, illogical arguments by saying 'smoke up', 'stay with ships with AA then' etc etc. If these folk could actually think they'd realise their advice offerings are highly situational and defeats the object of dd gameplay. WG know this too but couldn't give a rats behind. And I do disagree with the OP slightly in that even noobs in cv's can cause irreparable damage to dd's in short time with extremely low risk to themselves.

Its not just been the last few weeks, its the meta....players can advance quite rapidly to high tier ships without much effort or the need to learn to play the game or develop map awareness. The end result is very very bad players populating games with neglible skill...and don't you dare call them out on it, they're snowflakes who immediately tell you they're playing for fun or that you need to get a life. You cannot cure them of their ignorance, only natural selection can do that and that could take a while. Be patient and hope they don't breed (although they usually do, and in great numbers)...this is why the average intelligence level of humans is going down.
