Mores the pity for you then. They could ignore things if they wish but I suspect they couldn't afford to since this is their business. They're not doing us bloody favours, it is stuff that is expected of them, no asked nicely like Oliver asking for more food. They're not out landlords, we don't have to beg for anything, we're customers and there is a duty of care toward your customers if you wish to hold onto them. Simple as that. Be nice all you want, but respect is earned and in this case they earn zero respect for a mere cursory mention of Jutland. It's simply not good enough.

And why are we not getting new weekly missions if the event has been extended? Screw up on their part or not, I was counting on the next lot of weekly missions. I can't exactly play 500 bloody games; I'm no bot and I work for a living, so the last 100 diamonds is an impossible feat for me and many others. Now I'm 40 away from my sea lion flag and will never get there. I thought the weekly missions were to be updated once more before the 8th June? This is bullsh*t! I've played my heart out whenever I could to earn diamonds and now all I get is the middle finger from WG? Well [edited]them then! I've supported WG throughout - they don't get to change the [edited]rules near the end because they messed up!

You've apparently not been here very enough have you? You've not seen this type of thing years on end have you? What you call being polite is in this case is a little too obsequious in reality. This ommision on their part has to be met with resistance, not bloody 'it's ok, we understand' BS. Lol.

Maybe they were all on reddit and not on their own forums as usual. Mores the pity they've messed up big time here and the answer we got was far from satisfactory. This is not about being ungrateful, this is about an opportunity so massive missed and a mere article on GNB is an understatement of epic proportions in terms of remembering the event. Total incompetence on their part. To be honest it would have been better if Cynd3r had not responded at all. No offense meant here, but the response is totally inadequate. I'd like to hope this beyond hope, and I don't want to be overly negative but I'm not holding onto anything other than it disappears into the bottomless depths of nothingness. I'll eat Mr_Conways' hat if something does come about......but secretly I'm very disappointed..very secretly.

The sad thing was I have a screeny from my second game this evening where I did over 120k damage in my Warspite.....on a loss. Was so excited and then hope faded as our team forgot about the cap areas and we bled to death. The screeny was in to make myself feel good, lol. One of those games where every shot lined up and citadelled where they hit. The perfect score invalidated by a numpty team sadly.

Ah, ok, that sucks, i'm on a good streak, the Fuso is a beast of beast proportions. Edit: Yes, I see the text now, i've seen it a lot and never 'clicked'. What an idiot!

Got confederate two battles in a row with my newly purchased Fuso, got other flags from Kraken unleased and dreadnought, but still not the 20 signal flags for confederate. I checked the balance of signals and had 39 before either battle and it still has not awarded me the flags. Bug?

Saw praetor_jax in his Cambeltown on the opposite team. I was in mine too and it got to a point where I found myself in an area of the map versus 4 nasty looking enemy players, including Praetor. I took out a kawachi with close range broadside torp launches , then another DD, took fire from both Praetor and another BB and eventually succumbed to my wounds with a final sneaky volley from Praetor firing from maximum range while I was trying to escape with a few hitpoints left. I loved that little skirmish, but would have been better if I sunk my counterpart, haha. It was close frantic battle with 1 vs 4 and at least I sunk with 2 kills so was well worth it.

Just had a few games where there were a few key members of our team running away. 2 BB's and versus 2 cruisers versus the same on the enemy. The other bb and cruisers ran away leaving me alone versus 4 enemy. The fled to join the lemming train which got wiped out by a third of the enemy team. Quite pathetic watching cowardice in a virtual world, makes you wonder what they're like in real life. They must be real oxygen thieves.

It does seem some of the newer maps are far too small for higher tiers. Brothers or neighbours or whatever it's called is another one.

I would love to ban all mods...oh you mean ingame mods and not the forum mods? Oh well, a man can dream can't he?

So I have quite a collection of flags nowadays, but can only use one at a time. Other than collecting them, and apart from the alpha tester flag which carries a few minor benefits, what's the point of gathering flags that have no bearing on the game? What difference does a flag make other than a really minor aesthetic effect in game and what would possibly motivate me to change a flag that does nothing. Bragging rights on this one seems a little thin I reckon, since one flag is just as pointless as the rest. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but their effect in game is just meh. Opinions? Secondly, maybe a bad case of rng, maybe observation bias as others will no doubt accuse me of, but tonight I suffered 2 instant detonations on ships I would ordinarily not have a signal flag on, not including a dd I had forgotten to fit with a signal flag - that makes 3 detonations from almost full health in around 7 games. My fault for forgetting the signal, but has it become mandatory now to have this signal on your dd? A single stray shell from a hatsu hit the very rear end of my tier 7 dd as I was juking and I simply disintergrated. Again, anyone else seeing silly things like this or should I lay off the whiskey? Other stuff: I hate jalapeno's. No seriously, they give me ring sting!

They've had years to work on their communication skills and it still lacks sorely, therefore we can only conclude it's all deliberate on their part and they couldn't care less. This isn't exactly a slip up, the change is quite important to have accidentally slipped under the radar.

I was too busy blowing up to notice. I'm getting use to the detonation effect at least after seeing it so many times this evening. Will have to pay attention to the gunfire sounds to check for myself.

I'm a schitzophrenic (Don).......and so am I (Shaka_D). So I always have someone to play with even if it is my boring self, although at times the 'other' part of me rages at players, while the subdued part feels guilty and rebukes the bad one. You're welcome to include the two of us in any team you want to start, haha. Hell, the three of us can even division some time, there's never a dull moment with Shaka_D, but Don can be boring.

Not sure what to say about the OP on this one. I see the word 'Warpack' and I want to spit, I hear that someone actually endorses it's use and I want to throw them from the highest mountain onto the jagged rocks below. How is it that people actually sanction it's use at all, a problem with arseholes who have no idea wha a level playing field is, and then they expect a respecful answer to their question? I see myself as a one hit wonder at times, either all in and reckless, or so safe I find myself far from the battle because of an incorrect decision. I suffer from a classic case of the Dunning-kruger effect a lot of the time. I love DD's, feel I am good in them, and average at everything else. I lose my temper in battle sometimes with bad teams and end up trying to 'educate' a few people after the battle in garage chat, which most often ends in a bad way for both of us, leaving me feel guilty.

And they said I was using drugs.........look at this guy ffs.

@OP: Every time I click battle I get into a game with 12 players on each side, no matter what tier I choose, so the game is not dead to me, nor to many others who keep playing it. It has it's flaws but in general I feel the way it's going is far better than it has with WoT, and WG seem to be quite enthusiastic toward this title compared to the same ol crap in WoT. I complain about the game all the time, but still love it to bits.
