Sadly your comments only raise the historical perceived inefficiencies on their part. We know they're busy but not to the point they are sometimes (if not often) totally absent from their ever present playerbase. The word 'timesink' was once used by one of them when referring to spending time on the forums. Now and then you get the feeling they simply make a short contribution to fulfill their quota or to put out a player fueled fire often started by them in the first place. Pardon the analogy.

Personally I think Mr. Fingers has raised a lot of very good points in his posts. I've always enjoyed reading them and while I may not have agreed with everything in his posts I have always felt them to be pretty interesting and well written. Not all of his posts have been about gameplay, therefore it's not always necessary to be a 'currently' active member in the game to be able to posts comments. Perhaps you are the one that doesn't really know him that well? Asking for better treatment as you mention can only be of benefit to the playerbase, especially when much of what he said was / is valid. If you're so easily pleased then good for you, but don't expect all of us sink to your low standards or expectations and don't take for granted that there are many things better in this world thanks to similar minded people who complain so things may be improved for all of us. The stage doesn't matter, only the result. From your comments you sound like the type of person that likes to ride to success on the proverbial backs of others. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but your unfair critique of Mr. F is not warranted and smells an aweful lot like poo.

It was once a widely debated topic in WoT. Many people thought of it as good sportsmanship. I ALWAYS hated it when my team lost badly and someone on the enemy typed in 'gg' - I saw it as an insult, so generally it's one of those statements that players make and then don't realise that like anything else in life it has to be made with forththought, and not wildly thrown at the enemy thinking it's just being friendly. A winning team that won easily can say 'gg' to their own team, but perhaps 'bg' to the enemy, because for them it was a bad game. That's more sportsmanlike, acknowledging that the enemy struggled. A winning team can say 'gg' to the enemy if it was a close game. This is also sportsmanship. A winning team who says 'gg' to an enemy team after they whipped them hard is only insulting the enemy, like rubbing salt in the wounds. As usual though, most players are immature, juvenile and many can be nasty and ignorant, and it's through this ignorance and nastiness that they slip through the cracks and make statements inappropriately and then think everything is ok with it. Just face it OP, some people really are that stupid and callous. I used to get angry when on the receiving end of a 'gg' after a bad loss, but now I ignore it. They're brave internet warriors hiding behind their perceived mask of anonymity. Karma is coming for them.

Against a same class fuso it is extremely terrible.

I asked myself the question a while back why I had ever thought of collecting tanks / ships etc in games that could simply just vanish if WG ever pulled the plug. Collecting implies investment in a sense, which in this case it's definitely not. Is it simply that we are hoarders? Scared we will miss out on what everyone else has got? It's a very strange mindset and one that has resulted in vast amounts of money for wargaming. Now I buy a ship if I think I'll enjoy playing it and it fits well into my arsenal, but not simply for collecting. I cannot justify collecting virtual items anymore. I have the money, just not the will to throw cash at meaningless non-physical items. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

Yes, a few nights back I had 3 games in a row where the enemy had more bb's than my team with our shortfall being a made up with a cruiser. On the whole the balance in ranked is really absurd more often than it is not, leading to severe advantage or disadvantage for the one team. And they call it a competitive mode, lol.

Why are people still asking for more premium ships? I just don't get it. We already have 30000000 existing ones in testing that we've not seen released yet, so anything you ask for is still so far away it makes asking for it completely pointless. You might have given up the game by the time of release of many of the ones in testing. I know we'd love to see and play these vessels, but for the last who knows how many patches released we've seen it in the description relating to 'new ships added for testers - we may see them in the game but they are not ready to play yet'. There is a queue so long now it's not funny anymore and their release will most definitely be perfectly timed to maximise income for WG, therefore it makes sense that they'll trickle release these ships over the next few decades.

Low tiered ship = no thanks

Yes, personal rank progression as it currently stands should NEVER be tied in to any factor that relies on the actions or inactions of others with regard to your own team mates, otherwise it is not due to personal results. A randomly selected team is open to too much luck. We already have the RNG in the game, so too much reliance on luck is a factor already. There is only so much carrying of your team you can do and others should not benefit nor suffer due to the actions of someone else in this way, in other words, progression should be due to personal achievement, not team achievement.

I tried it last night since reading this post, and to be honest I found it more of a hindrance because I was so focussed on trying to get the little stopwatch to 'blink' that I lost sight of what was going on in the game. I spent so much time focussing on the ship I was trying to fire at and developed tunnel vision. Not even remotely worth the effort. I did manage to hit a dd from maximum range in my BB though. I didn't kill him but it worked in that sense at least but took far too much time for the 'aim and fire' sequence. Good that it's going because I trust my own judgement far more that trying to eye that little stopwatch.

The type 59 was nerfed a number of times to hell and back. I was one of the original owners when it first came out. It's only a shadow of it's former self so don't get all 'they don't nerf premiums'. They defintiely do.

Well I made rank 5, but the sad thing is I dropped back to 6 then back to 5, it's really disheartening, because all my losses or wins in rank 5 so far have been quick defeats or quick wins respectively. DD's and BB's rule but it's ridiculous with so many dd's. A friend of mine started behind me in ranked, he's no better than I am, only plays his cv and is already at rank 2 knocking on rank 1's door. He's had win after win after win even when doing relatively lilttle in his team and easily hopping up ranks in a single day, then stopping. Totally depressing.

Ragingsushi in a match in ranked battles last night - can't remember the map, might have been north or something. Our team won and was nice to have a friendly team.

Well, the last two games of the evening I watched two players in our team yolo straight into the middle of the enemy within minutes and die, the one guy laughed and the other basically just said nothing. So, two players deliberately throwing their ship away in ranked battles and nothing happens to them, even when reported. How do we prove they're trolls? This is totally unacceptable in ranked battles and sanction severity should be stepped up 10 notches or so. I am sick and tired of working hard to win matches only to have players like this chuck away any progress I've made in a moment of nastiness.

The only thing that needs curing is the level of stupid by some players in ranked battles. Oh, and the mm. Last night I was in three games where the enemy team had a bb and we had none. Couple bad mm with a few idiots in your team who don't know why they're playing ranked and you have a recipe for disaster. In ranked battles I would expect the mm to be spot on - I mean, who has the time in ranked battles to wait for the odds to be in your favour before your ship even starts moving. Days of bad luck with the mm can set you back a lot of stars, and it's not like you then get days of good luck thereafter. One step forward, two steps back.
