Not sure why people gripe so much about submarines. My experience: in co-op, the regular ships have killed almost everything before I can even get in range and/or I shoot my torps, but before they can get there - the target is already dead. Bery occasionally I see a sub in the top three, usually all are in the lower half. In real PvP - I am probably doing something wrong - since I am never able to do what everyone complains about (impossible to dodge torps seem to miss quite often. and the 'Repair' anti-ping defense outlasts my ability to repeat ping (and reveal location every time). And in pvp - a sub near the top only happens when the regular ships are a complete fail. With good ships top-side a sub is "also on team, but accomplishing nothing". I wish I was 25-40% as effective as all these pages of complaints. But I don't really believe them. Attach some recordings where subs are uber (over and over again). If anything, I am more likely to play DD or CB because SV are so outclassed (against experienced players).

so, choice: dd are finally available, so I want to try them. i note another choice: many people are playing co-op to get experience against subs. my 2-cents: learning mech. of subs, but not real game play because the real play ships kill the co-op bots freq before the sub can even get there. I am having fun - but wonder what color of fun when it is really player versus player.

where are the starter packs?

Missing models: ? : Germany: Rhein, Wesser, RichtHoven, and the (disappearing?) Loewenhardt. Makes me wonder if there is not more missing. And, i would have liked a bit more looking below decks.

Was going to post this in "Other", or better - but cannot due to 50 battle requirement. Anyway, I am leaving the game, nor will I be back on Tanks. The game says AMEX is acceptable payment - at least as an icon, but when I try and add my card I get: " This card is not currently supported in the game client. Please use another card ." I opened a ticket and support confirmed that "for my country" AMEX is no longer accepted. I no longer use PayPal, and I am not going to open a new credit card just to pay for in-game services. On the one hand - sad, as I seemed to be getting the hang of things, but if I cannot setup a premium account - read - my money is not good enough - guess I'll spend it on something else (and be 'banned to the NewComer's Section :p).
