When your own CV had no fighters left, and all the enemy CV had to do was perma spot those AA cruisers until they died? Glorius times indeed, so much fun from surface ship POV yes.

RTS CV was hell. Everyone used to check the WR of both CV players at match start. If your CV was tomato, it was a guaranteed loss. He got deplaned fast, and was an emty floating hull for the rest of the match. Your DD were perma spotted by fighters hovering just outside the AA, got insta killed by torpedo crossdrops (imagine having 3 torpedo bomber squadrons drop same time, from different directions). As capital ship you got struck with a fire/flood, and had to choose: keep burning/flooding, or repair and then got struck again by the next bombers who were waiting for you to decide.

Indeed, he mentioned he stays away from the discussion if CV are fun to play against, since its subjective.

Uuhhm no......seeing most players already struggle with the most basic stuff, adding manual AA would tripple the amount of CV whine posts here.

True this. But they will keep fuelling the cv fire, like brainless lemmings. I rarely get killed by a cv. If he finds me in my dd, i smoke up or retreat to AA bubble. If he wants me dead, it will cost him minimally half the gametime for sure. But arguing with the cv hater crowd has become impossible nowadays. They just keep repeating their mantra, deaf to facts and reason.

In your case, i guess the JB is a more forgiving ship if you make mistakes. Smolensk mistakes is a ticket back to port right away :)

i am not sure if sensor lock also locks the elevation of the guns, or just the direction. And also, it doesn't lock them on a spot, just locks them in their current position, So if ship moves and turns, aim will move also.

Nice one, killing people and stealing is forbidden. We all know that, so there is no reason for us to have police. As long no-one knows, all is fine.

Overmatch is in the game for everyone, it also happens for bad players. There is no mod that gives you overmatch........ I repeat myself again, since you are too lazy to read the whole thread: "This is my biggest grief with the modding community. They use mods that give them unfair advantage, then after a few months WG forbids them, and we wait for the next unfair mod. Why aren't those mods checked before they are released in the game, since now the cheaters are always a few months ahead of WG"

But i never ever mentioned WG modstation. And World of Chess cannot keep up with all the new mods being introduced all the time. So if they have a rule about a laptop not being allowed, i bring a tablet. After a week tablets are banned, i bring a smartphone. Thus i always keep my advantage, and its legal since the rules didnt mention it at that time.

Sure you are a great player, keep telling that to yourself often enough to comfort your conscience. Ignorance is bliss.
