WoWS (and WoT) always taking ages to install updates!

My specs are AMD Ryzen 2700, 16GB RAM, 480GB SSD just for games, windows installed on other SSD, network is 300/300 Mbit/s fiber connection. Some 3,5 hours ago I started to install WoWS from scratch, Download speed on average was around 20-25 MB/s, for last hour installer moved from 90 to 95 percent complete.... I also has a checkbox "Use max system resources" on. Procesor is mostly idling 10-15% total load, including movie I watch waiting for install, disk load is lower than 5%. Crappy installer it must be. -
Thanks guys, that may be it. Returning to port is indeed slow, no matter which port i select. All the GUI is kinda slow in port.

I experienced strange glitch - after exiting from battle, no matter if it was won or lost, every time i get back to port game selects random ship from ships currently present at port. This start happening after last update. It is not a problem by itself, but made me go to battle with wrong ship couple of times.

Hello After playing some battles with new Kawachi, Myogi and South Carolina i noticed some strange things: in every one on one skirmish BBs are easily taken down by same tier cruisers, even Myogi vs St Louis is very dangerous for Myogi destroyers are basically impossible to hit with main battery, scoring one hit in eighteen PERFECTLY ALIGNED shots is very not funny accuracy on BBs is just TERRIBLE, one hit per 2 or 3 salvos is just so weird it looks like some special inaccuracy mod is in action, and notice I am talking of shots that should not have missed - not missing by my error in judgment BBs are supposed to be tought, but... in last battle i scored 6 hits in 4 salvos (that is more than average) on a cruiser, St Louis to be exact, total damage was around 2K, (2 salvos HE, 2 AP), in the same time the damn cruiser took me around 20K HP... hitting with some 70% accuracy and gaining penetrations with no problem.... that is SO WRONG!!!! main battery range on cruisers and destroyers is bigger than on BBs?! WTF?! Getting hit with some cruiser 2 km out of your own range is very very wrong price of some modules at 2 or 3 million is way too high lower tier BBs have absolutely no means to defend from attacking aircrafts, which puts some kind of unbalance in game. In general, playing BB before 0.4 update was fun, now it is pain. BBs are easily taken down by anyone who wishes so with no real effort. Of the above, the one thing that pisses me most is the main battery low accuracy. Hitting two islands with single turret salvo is just not normal. WG, hope you can do something about it eventually... maybe even before 0.9 update, which by the time will be 9.0 update, no doubt. Just dont go the way you went with WoT.

W zasadzie zgadzam się z mwkp12. Gram tym okrętem od kilku dni i mam wrażenie że po Pensacoli, którą grało się świetnie, to jakiś okręt do przejścia za karę. Walka 1:1 z dowolnym krążownikiem powyżej VI tieru to samobójstwo. Pociski są chyba plastikowe, uszkodzenia celu to jakiś żart. Jedynym okrętem przeciwko któremu się dobrze gra jest inny NO. Co z tego że jesteś bardzo celny kiedy uszkodzenia są zerowe. W ostatniej bitwie - walka 1:1 z Pensacolą - ja pod kątem, on do mnie burtą - 27 trafień pociskami AP - uszkodzenia niecałe 20000. 0 cytadel. Oczywiście ja dostałem 3 cytadele + pożar + normalny dmg no i byłem pozamiatany. Tyle tylko że żadnych uszkodzeń krytycznych nie miałem, ani ster ani silniki ani nawet wieże. O spotkaniach z Amagi czy Tirpitzem nie wspominam, bo to że wytrzymam 3 salwy to tylko dlatego że robię uniki. Zdarzały się bitwy że Amagi ściągał mnie na 1 salwę, i to pod kątem, nie prosto w burtę.

I didnt's specifically say it earlier but before wipe i went up to Amagi and New Mexico, and I liked BBs a lot. I had a decent K/D ration, some battles with 5 kills. Accuracy was also good. I also mentioned earlier, that i am not bitching about misses that are results of my bad range/target speed judgement, oh no. I am just bitching about salvos, that are perfectly aimed, and still all shells fall around target with no hits at all. How it is possible, for example to miss a destroyer 2 km away with full salvo, and some shells hitting water before reaching target, and some flying above target. Those people that says "learn to play", "aim better" probably didn't read, or didn't understood what i said earlier, so i will repeat: I DON'T LIKE MISSING PERFECTLY AIMED TARGET DUE TO HUGE SHELLS DISPERSION. That need to be corrected. Some of you mentioned BBs are helpless against CVs on lowe tiers... that is true. Some says it is just because in real life these BBs didn't have a AAA because there was no need to have them, and WG are making them historically accurate. That is [edited]. Lets take the damn Kawachi. It has main battery range of at least 20 km, in game it is half as much. Kawachi had 5 submerged torpedo tubes, why in-game Kawachi doesn't have them? As for aiming, i don't know what has changed, but before 0.4 update it was harder for me to allign shots (needed more ranging shots), but when I alligned them correctly I scored multiple hits from salvo. Now even when perfectly alligned, usually there is at most 1 hit per salvo.

As I mentioned, I am talking about perfectly aimed shots, that just have so much dispersion two hits short, 2 long, one to the left, one to the right, perfect framing, no hits. And as I mentioned the problem was nonexistent (at least for me) before 0.4 update. I dont think my aim is worse, because actually it is easier to aim for me now, shots just dont land where they supposed to.
