Well getting the damage is easy enough. Just undock those BB's. Next the thousands of hits with main battery shells. Easy peasy... I have a sub machine gun Atlanta

I think people forget that the Kongo is a superb "Do Anything" ship. Having multiple Kongo's with multiple captains in my port allows me to specialize each one differently. I have one as a pure main battery specialist. I have an anti air specialist one I have a secondary battery / close range brawler specialist one and if I get a 4th, I dunno, maybe go stealthy or something. It's nice cause each one does sail differently then.

Who needs a fast turret rotation speed when you have a rudder? Also, you should be buffing your ships secondaries or AA and specializing the ship. Both secondaries and AA are good and when you specialize they can be superb.

I'd like to see the "Risk of Fire" stat to be shown in the port screen under my ship survivability tab. Just like "Torpedo Damage Reduction" is there. I think this stat is an important one to know about your ship so that when you Jonny Cash it to death (burn, burn, buuuurrrrn) you can see that there was a large risk of a fire being started on your ship. I'd also like to see the stat of "Time to extinguish a fire" and "Time to control flooding" stats to also be shown as these can be modified with equipment and flags. This would help greatly in setting up a ship.

Wrong...... each ship has a stat called "Risk of Fire". This is part of the formula for "TOTAL Chance of fire" Both shell "Chance of Fire" and ship "Risk of Fire" are factored together Both Risk and Chance are modifiable. Risk can be reduced by skills and equipment. Chance (shell) only modified by skill

Should organise a time for all captains to log on, get on teamspeak and hit "battle" at the same time. We might get a large number of pre dreads in one battle A ship class I'd like to see in Tier 2 (Pre-Dread) would be: Duncan Class -

So I am now a proud Mikasa Captain. I also feel like a skilled one as for some reason I can hit stuff with my main guns. Also. Having a (albeit very close range) St. Louis strapped to each side of my ship is hilariously distracting. My biggest gripe is the speed. Having to get into "Danger Close" range is fun cause, like Kenny Loggins, I love the Danger Zone! -
Kongo is just the all rounder really. I have all three of my Kongo's (The 3 ARP Kongo class BB's) setup differently. One is primarily focused on main battery useage One is primarily focused as a close range brawler One is primarily focused on AA defense. All three are pretty good at what they do. I like the fact that I've three ships that all perform differently.

If they release a Profintern (either tier 4 or 5) I think I will actually soil myself with joy. Svietlana is sooooooo much fun -
I'm confused... they will be brown for 7 days and a 7 day ban.... how will we see them brown?

wait wait wait........ It's €12.00 for tier 8 permanent camo It's €15.00 for tier 9 permanent camo It's €19.00 for tier 10 permanent camo Who are the idiots pricing this sh!t. They do realize it's far easier to sell a million items for €1 than it is to sell a single item for €1,000,000. Well actually, they don't seem to realize that! The only way I would buy this is if it removed the need for the ship to have a "trained" captain in it. AKA it turns it into a full premium ship.

Sunday potato teams with borked MM flavor...

Loving the "elitist" attitude in this thread........... Seriously guys. Having bad games on a computer game really isn't worth getting this upset over. -
It's a Seal Clubber's wet dream. I love mine. The rate of fire from those torp launchers is bonkers and a high SP Captain make it a silly ship.

Front bow of ship should be capable of ramming without too much damage to self ?
Spuggy replied to SkybuckFlying's topic in General Discussion
You disapoint me Lord Flash. Some one is talking about "ramming" and you don't talk about "ramming", if you know what I mean -
I agree with Historynerd and I believe that there is at least a plan to make a detonation a rather large explody event in game. In WoT a magazine detonation kill had the same animation. Since then I believe they have updated it and a magazine kill blows the turret off the tank which can actually kill someone if it lands on them.

HMS Hood is why this is a game mechanic. It can and does happen.

Exploiting fail divisions to be high tier
Spuggy replied to EralionArkanar's topic in General Discussion
I don't think this would work how you are describing it. The lone Tier 6 CV can't be dragged into a Tier 9/10 game to balance the CV's because that CV can only enter up to tier 8 games. OP is correct and this is an interesting concept that requires dev input. -
If it has been issued go to your ship "external" tab (where you put signals and camo on) There should be a third tab in there called "Flags" (Signals are not Flags). If it's anywhere, that's where it'll be. May not get issued till the end of the event though. Or you may need to open a box on the GNB website to get it issued. Silly really. The information on where to find, when you get and how to use these should be provided with the items.

I'm a little confused about people talking about aircraft armour. Aircraft are, from my experience (not sure how much I'm actually allowed to talk about this) minimally armoured, mostly only to protect the crew. (Please, if I'm wrong, show me) Aircraft "Ruggedness" and redundant and backup systems are what keep them in the air. An aircraft of light construction (eg Zero) can't take very much damage as it sacrifices this ruggedness in it's structure to attain higher speeds and maneuverability. A Wildcat for example, is built much heavier, this means much of the structure of the aircraft can be shot to bits but the remainder is strong enough to hold thing together. Obviously, heavier aircraft have shorter operational ranges and poorer maneuverability. It's a trade off. But armouring an aircraft....... it would never get off the ground unless you removed any and all payload, non essential flight systems, and fuel, and the windows, and the seats. Something I've had to do to extend the range of a helicopter a few times. Fun times. Boss basically says "Lighten that helicopter as much as you can". I say "Okay" and start ripping everything off it. Gave me found memories when reading "The Martian".
