Ja teda nevim, ale role krizniku je a) likvidovat DD a b) poskytnout protiletadlovou obranu... A vzhledem k tomu, ze likvidace DD souvisi i s obranou BB, tak bych se tomu nebranil. To ze to nikdo nehraje neznamena, ze to je spravne to nehrat. Vetsina hracu BB pokud dostanou pred delo BB a CA, tak taky bude strilet na BB, protoze se to tak hraje, misto aby eliminovali prvne CA, coz je jejich hlavni ucel...

Super! Takze vlastne jeden z nejuzitecnejsich skillu pro CA a USN DD... Dekuji moc. Mimochodem, velmi si cenim toho, ze jsi to byl schopen potvrdit, a zdrzel ses domnenek. Edit: Upraveno, mohlo to vyznit pichlave, coz jsem nechtel.

Otazka k Zakladnimu Streleckemu Vycviku... Snizuje to reload u hlavnich baterii na DD? Skill uvadi dela do 155mm, coz by sedelo. Byl to nekdo schopen potvrdit?

Way too many people completely ignore presence of DDs or existence of torps on IJN CAs. You see them listed already during loading screen. They still sail in straight courses in front torpedo armed ships and tunnel-vision with guns when there is white smoke dropped ahead, IJN CA makes sudden turn or in area was spotted DD steaming behind isle. I just disregard totally whines about torpedoes being OP at lower tiers. Situation awareness is the key, as Abraa said.

I went through South Carolina in 7 battles yesterday. I did not notice any issue with that ship. If I did not yolo into 2 St. Louises, it worked like expected. Well aimed shots and it was wrecking CAs in two salvos. But one has to really aim on their waterline, in order not to overshoot with half of shells... Dispersion is bigger as I would like, but I guess it is connected to shooting at maximal ranges...

Je nekde uvedeny vzorecek na XP za bitvu? Momentalne je pro mne cap stejne rovny vyhlazeni tymu. Ani nevim, jestli jsou nejake XP za spot... Prudi mne momentalne US DD. Kdyz zacnu neco solit dely, okamzite vsichni prestanou strilet sve cile a zacnou mne sypat zpatky. Uz aby tu byla armada novacku...

I just do not get the analogy. WoT is not WoWS. While many mechanics seems to be similar, there are huge differences. "Lemming train" is not counter-productive to ship warfare, rather an opposite is truth. Terms like "battle line" or "crossing the T" indicate, that more guns on targets win the ship battles...

Vcerejsek mne akorat utvrdil v pocitu, ze US DD jsou ted asi nejnarocnejsi trida na hrani. Spis to hrat momentalne jako ciste delovy clun, co ma par torped na obranu. Hlavne rovnou zdrhat, pokud se nepritel zacne divat vasim smerem a neni to nepratelsky torpedoborec. Neporovnatelne narocnejsi oproti IJN DD...

I am struggling heavily with my US DD now... I am at Tier3 now, Wickes, and it is pain in [edited]to achieve something... I do few hits now and then and that was it. If I go full out, I would sink a ship, but that was my end. The current state of smoke screen makes it only useful as a last chance to save myself, but I cannot use it much for offensive... -
I do not know but I have not problem with "lemming train". It has more guns put on single target. If the train sticks together, it is much harder for planes to go through its AA screen and single enemies melt down quickly. Going alone on one side is suicide. A bit scouting with DD and run off ok, but nothing more than that. PS: Flank is not the same as geographical location. To secure flank means to protect the formation side. If you go alone on the empty side of map, it is just overextending into isolation.

Mi sedi nejvic americke krizniky a torpedoborce... Ty japonske mne nejak nezaujaly, ale to bude tim, ze preferuji dela. Zajimavy vztah mam k bitevnim lodim. Pokud tu bitevni lod znam z realu, tak mne zajima i ve hre. Jinak ne. Ale zase jich tolik neznam.

Tak BB dostaly v jednom posledni patchi konecne model bocnich panciru. Takze mensi raze uz je na blizko neprostreli, akorat delaji male skrabance za par susni. Myslim, ze soucasny model diktuje nasledny postup: - Kanon s velkou razi (BB) strili AP - Kanon s mensi razi (CA, DD) strili na tvrde cile na vzdalenost pres 2/3 dostrelu a dale s AP (mas sanci prostrelit mene pancerovanou palubu a vyhnes se bocnimu panciri), jinak prepne na HE (strili se na nastavbu, ne na trup) - Malo pancerovane cile (DD) se strileji s HE Obecne je ale AP mene konzistentni jako HE... Hlavne tedka skorem vsichni strileji HE kvuli horeni lodi. Je pravdou, ze ohen je tedka snad nejvetsi zlo.

I am sorry, but this is a rocks-paper-scissor arcade game. You are trying to pursue, through the whole thread, an idea of more simulated approach. If Gaijin would do this game, you will be spot on. But WG picked rocks-paper-scissors arcade simplicity. Your posting list tons of RL examples and try to link them to the current fire problem. It feels, underlined to me, like a disconnection with the game model we have. My honest opinion. I fully support the diminishing returns effect OP suggested. Finally what burned and was extinguished, usually burns worse. Strength of WoT and WoWS games is a simplicity of a concept behind. This is exactly the level of simplicity this game asks for. No need to RL stories...

Tak jsem se vcera snazil se Sampsonem. Nove trvani kourove clony je katastrofa. US DD s dosahem torped 4.5km a malou rychlosti torped jsou desne. Ale to vse vime. Osobne se snazim prezit uvodni cast bitvy, udelat spot tu a tam a hlavne strilet po nepratelskych DD. Obzvlaste ty japonske, co se izoluji, se snazim ulovit. Pokud chci torpedovat, tak se blizim plnou paru k spotlemu cilli zaclonen ostrovem (cil-ostrov-ja v linii). Torpeda vypoustim zpoza clony ostrova, jednu sirokou salvu na predikovane bile pole a druhou uzkou salvu vedle bileho pole na strane bliz k cili (to je projekce uhybneho manevru) a pak se stocim tak, aby mne ostrov stale zakryval. Pro nepratelskou lod proste znicehonic vyskoci torpeda ve vode a nikdy mne nevidi. Kourovou clonu pri shozu torped vubec nepouzivam, jenom bych varoval, ze tam jsem. Clonu mam jenom jako zachranny manevr, pokud mne necekane spotnou a zahaji palbu.

I have to admit, it annoys me like a hell, that I cannot stop the ship being "flooded" by unused free XP... I too really wished the accelerating crew training option.

I think constructivness of your posts starts and ends with linking and arcade game to real life events. It is not working like that in game design. Getting an idea based on RL? Ok, sounds like good excuse. Enforcing RL on game? Just plain silly. Remembers me the army of people in WoT, who still thinks that Tiger has to be the king of the battlefield...

I started positively and then got 6 losses in row. Which I eventually equaled to 50% WR. But yeah, 14 games are statistically irrelevant. Harsh surprise was Sampson however. Of course I knew that US DDs starting torpedoes are bad, but combined with the new smoke duration they are abysmal. The only chance is to attack ships being fully occupied by some other target. Everything other means a suicide. And those St. Louises with their amount of guns... How I hate them in US DD...

@dapprman: If you had option to have separate clans in every game, nothing would prevent you being in the same clan in every game at the end. It is still more flexible for clan member...

I see what you mean. If shots have some sort of normal distribution, dispersion basically says how wide the bell curve is the bottom, but accuracy can influence the shape of the bell curves hill. I agree, there should be some info from devs directly on the wiki regarding these things.

I do not see the point. Unified account makes your premium time and gold shared anyway, so it does not matter if you play one or two game, WG will profit on you so or so. But having unified account as user with premium and gold while having option for different clans per game would be great solution. Finally that would mean even more socializing and more ties within the game at the end. And WG knows, that what makes you stick longer is socialization...

I thought that "Dispersion" of guns is sort of their accuracy. So I would expect that upgrade helps with that. I myself wonder over equipment... I am a bit swimming in what to put on my Sims... I went so far just for the 1st upgrade to lower the chance of loosing my main guns. I am considering this accuracy upgrade over the other one, with quicker reload, as I am seeing myself to fight at extreme range of my guns often. Similarly I am considering getting "small damage control" and then increase my agility with quicker stern change.

Ah, thank you. I will be looking on that color more then. I know about the Port option, but when I switch the ships, I often remember first during countdown, that I wanted to have a look on the range...

I will reuse the existing thread for my feedback... The interface is a bit cumbersome, especially its parts to work with a Commander. Some other parts are a bit irritating too. a) When you buy new ship, you can get a new Commander trained with +3 Skill points for 250pias. That is in a stark contrast to what you can do with your current Commanders. Retraining of the existing Commander costs 500pias and I cannot send an existing Commander for +3 Skill points training. Well, at least I did not find such option yet. b) The mechanics of the Commander experience/retraining/penalty to his existing skill is not really intuitive. Does retraining of the Commander means, he has to recollect all his past experience on the new ship again? Won't it be too much to retrain especially on the high-level Commanders? c) The transition from Port screen into Commander screen is not pronounced enough in my opinion. Maybe the commander training would be better off with a window as an overlay. d) I figured out how to make minimap bigger, but I was surprised there was a limit on its size. I would prefer there was not such an unnecessary limitation, so I can do minimap even bigger. First I play on a 15" notebook with a 1920x1080 panel and thus even the biggest minimap is relatively small. And for the second, bigger the minimap, better the situation awareness for me. e) When I press the Alt-key, I see into what distance I am targeting my weapons. I wish there was some clue about the maximal distance of my current selected weapon too. Maybe I miss it and it is there. In such a case, it is such a clue not clear enough. f) Will there will be option to see others people Profiles and/or option to hide yours one? g) Is some in-game report system planned? Already met some really toxic players who had problems with others testers' nationality etc.
