    If you want to improve the chance your team has drive a DD, they are the most important ships and have the largest influence if driven badly or well. Your teams DD's suck and you'll probably lose. If you're driving the DD you can't blame anyone else unless the CA's fcuk up and don't support you, in which case you should drive a CA as that's the most important ship in the battle and has the largest influence if driven badly or well.   6. I refer to my Hatsuharu in the post but I've notice it on other ships. Also the range increase for lever 4 commander skill increased the HE distance achievable but not the AP on the Ru premium. Not sure about the commander to reserve, the skill should increase/decrease certain ship capabilities as the upgrades do, but they're not dynamically updating the information on the port view in some cases. Don't know if it's a bug or some mechanics at work I don't understand, hence the question. Edit: I dropped the skipper to reserve and the Hatsuharu 180deg turn time increased on the port view and the module view ?

I've noticed the skills/upgrades/camouflage have an immediate affect on the ships abilities as described in the port view on Survivability/Artillery/Torpedoes etc. As in: Hatsuharu Type7 mod. 2 Gun Fire Control System shows a firing range of 9.3km, but due to the 20% increase in range to under 155mm guns, given by Advanced Firing Training level 4 Commander skill, the actual and shown range in the port view on Artillery is 11.1km. This happens for other values as they are altered: Camouflage affects the concealment as it's applied. The Expert Marksman level 2 skill should increase the traverse speed on the under 155mm guns by 2.5deg/s, but it does not affect the value displayed in the port for the Main Battery, which shows the same 180 degree turn time as the gun module, of 18.9 sec. On the same gun module it shows the basic rate of fire as 6.7 rounds a minute but this value is affected by the Commander skills and shows as 7.4 rounds a minute in the port viewed value for the main battery. Is this a bug ?

    Try adding WoWS as an exception to both, location of game and the exe. Might be the problem
  9. Some feedback: The camouflage should probably cause a slight loss in accuracy at range but detection in daylight ? Unless it's Clingon paint that shouldn't happen. It might have caused delayed identification/direction but the game tells you those camo or not. Radar is an interesting addition but nerfing the smoke screen AND Radar is too much I think. Scout/Fighter or Scout/Improved AA would be a nice choice to have. CV's really need to stay in their tier, 1 tier higher fighters makes a huge difference to their being part of the battle or a barge. Manual drop as an XP acquired/need retrained skill for CV's is CRAZY, using Manual drop IS a skill. Will WG make players XP acquire/retrain to get a reticule SKILL on other ships, the torpedo lead indicator....that could also be XP acquired/retraining needed for every move that Captain makes

    Idea's for WOWS

    Developers could simply miss the tier levels not available/matched for nations ships, as they do now by jumping 2 tiers. Also the single line could just bulge/split to accommodate parts of a line available to that nation. National pride being what it is, and if WG stick a nice premium in there too, I think they'll draw/keep many more players.
  11. Also not keen on Domination, due to losing the chance of a good battle to a counter that increases too quickly. I'd suggest remove Domination and have Extermination, battle till one team exterminated

    Good questions and observations OP Maybe claiming it as "some time" is a bit rich but they are valid observations and suggestions/questions. With some though, the content of the post doesn't matter. Ignore the trolls, they search through forums posts looking for someone they can jump on, in the hope of looking/feeling superior.
  14. Also don't click the mini-map if there's a whiner on your team I've found some players to be sooo sensitive to it.

    Design or flaw ? "I know this problem is mostly due to aiming through smoke screens of destroyers.Even though you don't see them while you are in zoom, if you zoom out you will see the smoke screen." I think it's meant to be like this.
