Never had any cooling issues in several years as I have a big tower case with 4-5 fans in it. Also cleaning dust off inside greatly helps as it attracts heat insanely good. But if you're playing on a labtop, you're probably better off getting a usb driven cooling fan station under the labtop.

Well, the Izumo needed all of the buffs it can get. Becouse now, it's a pile of floating garbage. Also agreeing with mtm78, CV gameplay is way OP at the moment. In the hands of any player with a functional brain that knows what the "Alt" key does on your keyboard.

...How is this balanced again? I mean; there is litterally NOTHING this CV player under here could've done to avoid my torpedo wall AND I have 2 bombers lying in the back for when he uses his repair ability for the flooding to sink him with fire. This particular enemy CV player realized what I was going to do too late when he sent his fighters towards my TB, but it was too late. Even if he could've shot down even one of my torpedo squadrons, I still had 2 bomber squadrons lying behind him, in wait to see what happens next. C'mon Wargaming, this is getting boring really quickly with CV's & their current state of the game meta. It's either: 1 Bomb enemy CV, or 2: Get bombed by enemy CV. Hopefully the balance departement takes their finger out of their bottoms and figure something out better than this, becouse this is just almost un-playable. EVEN IF one cruiser on your team defends you for the entire game, that's one cruiser LESS while I have a free reign on the defenseless enemy BB's without cruiser support. What are your thoughts and input? Balanced? Unfair? How do you dodge this manual torpedo drop with a CV?

It's a good thing we have people like you to check other players stats just to find a reason to dis-agree with anything relevant to the topic. I'm not playing the game seriously until my progress will be saved, otherwise I'm merely playing for fun contrary to World of Tanks where you are free to inspect anything of interest. Back to actual topic: They are going to change manual drop? Are they setting a fixed km for the torpedo arming/attack distance to balance out the the really high potential damage with no drawbacks? If they are setting it to auto-aim drop distance, then that's way too far since that's dodgable with big BB's like Iowa and so on. Though torpedo speed is also a balancing factor where WG isn't really active at yet, besides setting a numerical value when inserting ship/plane one time and leaving it there for quite a while.

If this is the highest skillcap in the game atm, I'm sadly dissapointed since I've allready reached that level when I got at tier 6 CV.

I think it's a good idea, not only it stops bad players somehow sinking a full hp good DD player with pure luck, but it also raises the all ready really low skill cap of the BB class much higher. But, the main guns of the BBs would need some more adjusting if it's implemented.

Yes. It's really easy to say: "Oh, but you could've done that and that", after what was allready done from before. So far I've sinked 9/10 CVs with this tactic, and the only CV that survived where on 40-50%hp becouse he had a CA comming to the rescue. Don't worry, he still sank when I came back for the 2nd run. So, at the moment if you're the CV thats getting bombed. You can either: a) stop the flooding immediatly & see my DB comming for a strike and set you on fire two spots on the ship, or you can: b) Wait for the DB to come attack while your ship is being flooded for twice the fire damage you would've taken instead.

Well. I could write a maticulously long and easely comperhensible thread in the ST forum right now. But I'm not Russian, and neither can I speak Russian so my opinions and ideas are as valuable as chewing gum on the streets for them. Also, I have been in a ST program for WoT, and I don't feel it's any different than now since it's still the same company: "You don't speak Russian? You can play with us, but we won't communicate or send any feedback to the Russian developers. Gtfo"

Nice read, and I agree with you all the way completely. Although I also made the same topic, but not the same issue, merely minutes more when you posted yours. But, the fact that Sharana above is redirecting the balance issue elsewhere to the top tiers, where it is slightly worse than the lower tiers isn't really that much better to think about. That just means the whole CV class is pretty broken now, even moreso than artillery in WoT is, but that is a seperate matter for a (slightly) different game. I hope the ST gets some changes in relatively soon, becouse right now, everyone and their mom will play CV's becouse the skill-cap is so low when they hear about manual torpedo drops & it's not really that far from the better players.

Colorado needs some buffs, at the moment, the New Mexico is better in every aspect save for the AA. That's it. (Note the AA of the Colorado is only for self defense. 2.1 - 3.5km)

Indeed, I agree with you completely there. I didn't understand WG's move when they also introduced the massive difference with the USN and the IJN with CV set-ups, one which relies on fighters only, and the other bombers only. It's obvius who is going to win in the long run, the fighters. But when two CV's of the same nation is being set against eachother, it boils down to who can nuke the other one the fastest. I hope WG comes to their senses, and mends this problem before the game hits live. At the moment, you BB/CV, have to have a CA within 2km distance from you, to prevent you from being instantly nuked down by a CV.

Wargaming is known for putting so called "XP sinks" or bad ships into the tech tree, to make people intentionally skip them to waste their accumulated free xp, or make them convert to free xp from gold. That is a below the belt tactic in the gaming industry, it's basically a sign with neon text saying: "WE WANT MORE MONEY" So expect more bad ships in all of the tech trees, in every class onwards.

Hello. 1: Ok, imagine 3 carriers in a squad at once, and all of them launches their planes. How can this be balanced to all the other ships? 2: Manual control over secondaries has been suggested before, not sure what WG plans are. 3: I kind of agree with you here, just look at the IJN cruiser AA, it's terrible across the board. Yes, they have torpedoes but they should still get some worthwile AA. 4: Press CTRL + X to lock your turrets to where you are aiming. 5: That would be kind of hard to implement, and control. How do you propose doing this? -
Yeah, it's more like a anti collision system that actually wants you to collide with something at the moment.

I don't think you're getting my point, I'm not bragging or showing off how awesome I am etc etc. I'm showing how easy it is to negate the enemy team's CV support if I just send 5 planes yolo to him and he dies to 5-6 torpedoes, while I still have dive bombers with ammo just incase he somehow miracolously dodge some of the torpedoes to finish him off. This is game breaking, it's as if the enemy artillery in World of Tanks dies within the first two minutes of the game, that really hurts the team & favours the other team extremely heavy. The game play of "Which CV gets nuked first" is heavly seen the past week as people figured out it's easier to just nuke them instead of having to fight them on the map. If you don't see this as a problem, or really unbalanced, it's pointless for me to continue discussing this with you. *Edit: gud engrish grammr

Litrerally first CV game in the Ryujo, tier 6 today. I had absolutly no problem nuking the enemy CV for his entire health with my 3 TB and 2 DB squadron at the start of the game, and he is one tier above me! C'mon Wargaming... Rebalance or remove CV gameplay, this is as if someone in the WG balancing department is mentally retarded or something.
