Atago is a allright ship, you got 5 turrets with 2 203mm guns each and 4x4 torpedo tubes with 10km range or so. Armor is average, you are going to get citadelled from BBs regulary when angled.

Don't mix the old SC with the new SC today, the old SC had much lower flag/camo chances than the current ones does. WG tweaks the % dropchances regulary, like, when's the last time you heard someone got the Miss/Musashi etc from a random SC? The drop chance is so low you're probably better off buying a ticket from the local lottery.

Don't need divisions for ranked sprints. If you're an "ok" player you should be able to rank out fast, 20-30 games. I wanted a challenge this time, so I tried to only take the Yorck. But man, this thing doesnt have enough armour to stop BB AP when angled and it got enough armor so all AP doesn't overpen. Ended up taking the FIji for the rest of the stars (rank 4 -> 1).

SC is where you get most of your flags/camos.

Most likely T6-T7. T8 and up are long range HE spamfest.

Create corridors so the enemy team can only shoot your bow, and your sides/rear are covered with someting. Try to stay 8-12km away from the caps/flanks so you can shoot DDs and the like.

Pretty sure this is my fastest rank 1 sprint record, and shortest. 19 battles or so, haven't checked the profile. Lost at least 2 games I could've carried if I used my head more. Leander is the only choice for ranked sprints. Especially with CV's.

Operation Narai is the only viable one, the rest are fit for the dumpster.

I'm gonna use the Leander, and roll through the ranks.

Aoba is pretty bad, didn't get that ship to work even once.

The Colorado is bad, and you should feel bad. You will miss all of the important things in the battle while you struggle to do 21kn, range upgrade or not. GL hitting DDs at 15km+. Also, islands/cover are a thing. The 406 guns is the only thing Colorado got going for it, you're better off with the Nagato which can do everything better and faster while having marginally worse dispersion. KGV->Colorado.

You're improving, and I think that's great.

Why are you complaining? You're doing ranked with the easiest class to play, a DD. Now rank out with a BB or CA that isn't a battlecruiser. That's right, close to impossible.

Just make battlecruisers have the battleship icon already...

JB's 100mm got 16mm pen stock, so yes they will definitely pen over 19mm with IFHE. Other than that, the 152mm guns will have a field day against DDs.
