There is some truth to this post. While BBs can and do get detonated, they are the hardest class to detonate by a Large margin. Only ways to detonate a BB is a lucky torpedo or a penetration of the magazines by an AP shell. Incidentally the magazines are the most armored parts of a BB. The Udaloy detonating a Yamato gif was recognuzed by a dev as a hame bug in the Yamato model and fixed. This is impossible nowadays. -
At the bottom of the usefulness barrel? Apart from one or two tier X cruisers, high tier cruisers are inferior in everything to battleships and require waaay more effort to have the same amount of impact as a BB. There is a reason you only see 1 or 2 cruisers in Competitive games, and thats only because they have radar/smoke.

The issue is that a BB can do what a cruiser does just as well, without any of the cruiser's glaring weaknesses like survivability and HP. This is fine at low tiers where a BB is slow and lacks range, but when you give them speed and range, they can influence the whole map which makes the cruisers pointless.

Each battle. Lol yea. Gamescon is 2 days a year. You were unlucky for one battle thats it. And judging by the guy that was also in the battle, 2 out of 3 ships pushed so it can not be worse than normie tier X battles Also. Your personal remark about bills at t9 is wrong and not needed. Ive played enough t9 and t10 battles and still have more credits than I can use. Find something more productive to whine about. Like Detonations. They are really fun and engaging.

I doubt it. Either show a screenshot of a battle with your team having 3 press accounts or quit your BS. Noob teams happen everyday im not sure how 20 more of them around Gamescon make any sort of difference. At least Gamescon players are not toxic in chat and are always nice in my experience.

Thing is, ive lost faith with WG, selling such an amount of collection crates, to not make this collection overly hard to finish without buying crates. I have opened about 7 crates, 3 from mission rewards, with only 1 collection drop.

No AA like other tier 7 BBs (Xcept Colorado and Gneisenau) Other BBs cant heal back torpedoes either, and also are covered in 32mm armor as well Also, it is as fast as the Nagato probably. definitely more fast than Colorado. Less fast than Gneisenau. That said, Gneisenau is probs more powerful than the Nelson on second thought.

So, Does anyone think Nelson is the BB Equivalent of a Belfast at tier 7? it seems too OP in my opinion. Convenient turret loadout, one of the fastest big tier & BBs, big guns, super heal...

The point here is that a Conqueror is a better cruiser than some other cruisers while also being a Battleship to boot. I mean, who even thought of 11k conceal on a tier 10 BB?

Most of this 74 79k damage is fire and 100% repairable compared to BB AP which isnt..

Before we proceed, as happens with any anime topic, please keep it civil. I do understand some of you do not like it, some of you do. Arguing over it is pointless though. So, now that we are on topic, I have an image to show you. COVER YOUR EYES, IT'S ANIME Now, those of us who went and bought those HSF ships, may notice we only got the commanders. WG though, clearly has sprites for the XO's as well. Now i've been wondering, are those captains we get from missions down the line, or will they not be available?

Hello, For a long time now, it feels to me that WG are trying to change the current status quo. Yet, they are afraid of changes that may be perceived as Nerfs (which prompts whining, especially from entitled brats who bought premiums like Belfast and give [edited]all care for game Balance, because they pay money), and instead try to change core game mechanics and introduce new "gimmicks" or differences in lines. This approach, while reducing whining, has a potential of breaking more than it fixes. That said, anyway, something needs to be done about this meta which is BB heavy, Camp-heavy, sometimes snowballfest. Those changes need to be calculated, and in some ways way more discreet than adding new game mechanics or changing them heavily. With that in mind, looking at what needs to be changed, this is my wishlist for all classes CV: CVs, the problematic class. Introducing new lines for this class is almost not forseeable, since only about 5% of the playerbase plays it. I do not play it as well, this is why I do not know much about it to propose anything of value which is not known by CV players. Feel free to add on in the replies: Cerrier rebalance - WG has already stated they are working on that UI Rework. Make the UI fun to watch at and use. Also, make it effective. Managing mupltiple squadrons while you cannot fit them in one screen, with multiple changing conditions and personal attention required when dropping is hard. Players that master it dominate, ones that do not, are a big reason why their team loses. Keep the good, throw out the bad, roll with it. BB: The second problematic class: The easiest class to play and the most played one in turn. This class, at the moment, feels like a class without counters. Which is bad. Changes will need to be added to address this. Credit where credit is due, WG are already looking at AP doing pens on DDs and stray citadels on cruisers, Bravo!! German BBs: Remove the sonar. This will cause outrage ofcourse. So, in return, a nice buff to their Torpedo Defense Protection will be put in place. That way, they are still able to brawl due to their (Now buffed) Secondaries and Turtleback armor. All BBs: Stealth builds are fine, they allow people to sneak in and start pounding. Stealth builds I like because they allow for more freedom of movement and do not constrict you to camp. One thing though. Gun Bloom after firing at 20seconds for Battleships (while the same for all other classes) is some total BS. It allows the BB to fade away even before it reloads, giving him an easy decision later on as to whether he wants to engage again or not. For BBs' This Bloom needs to be 30 seconds universally, except in cases where the reload is faster, like Sharnhorst. CA: As a CA player mainly, I feel CA's are generally fine and like the way WG treats them. For now, no changes are needed for CAs apart from perhaps adding 1 or 2 healing charges to some of thetier 8s that have problems with Survivability. Other than that, Zao may need a bit more HP (in the line of 2-5k more HP) to compensate for its loss of StealthFire, but then again Im a Zao player and thus biased. That said, Hinednburg has a whopping 25% more HP! Any more buffs to CAs with the aforementioned nerfs to BBs will break game balance. DD: DDs are in fact fine as well, apart from one line that had it's identity removed. This is the IJN Line. Crap gunboats with Edited HP, they are the designated torpedoboats that are one of the long-forgotten counters of Battleships. Due to heavy nerfs after the Shimakaze Torpedo Spam times, they are now obsolete. More to the point, Current testing of Pan Asian DDs gives them a designated anti-BB torpedoes, which have a lot less detection range than IJN Torps and also, similar damage. ALL THE WHILE HIGH TIER PADDs HAVE USN GUNS AND CONCEALMENT. Concealment of IJN torps needs to be improved These changes are, ofcourse, not going to be liked by some players, but would be necessary for the healthy and wholesome balance of the game. A german BB main may whine a lot for example, but when he has a blanaced game, he will also try, say, IJN cruisers and say: Hey, that aint all that bad! lemme get some premium time to advance on this line instead. (Utopia, i know, but eh, one can dream) Now I know many of you who opened this thread may have not read my post, but to those who did, I appreciate it. Now, if you will, Please Please Please have a nice discussion without Edited on other people's opinions (and stats) before you disprove them. Cause and effect. BBs are OP for their skill level required and that is why they are played a lot. Put a cap on the BBs and you treat the symptoms, but don't cure the disease. Less BBs per team means you just notice it less. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

Nerf accuracy beyond lets say 15 or 17km? Could work to draw BBs closer. I remember when they actually improved their acc in the sub 5km category. They can do the same but inverted.

Where am I lying? Have you seen German BBs torped when their sonar is active? Sadly most of this insanely high damage potential of cruisers can be achieved by fires on multiple BBs and is 100% repairable. 120k HE and Fire damage on BBs is nothing compared to even 80k damage with AP and Citadels. Even more so when SuperHeal ships are coming out. Also, a cruiser that did only 40k damage but killed 2 DDs will always be better than one with 150k damage exclusively done on BBs.

No. You misunderstand. I dont want to nerf citadels. I want to make them logical. A citadel on a broadside cruiser is fine. A citadel on a highly evading cruiser which luck-pens is not. And yes. Remove sonar from german battleships. Improve their TDS by about 10-20% but remove the sonar. It is practically impossible to torp german BBs now, and with their armor and decks which are strong against AP and HE torps were their supposed counter.

You thought the mission for the flag was worth it and you did it. You got the exact reward you saw before starting the grind. There were people in the forums complaining with a reason this mission was too hard for casual players. WG recognized this and now there are people complaining they are now not unique enough and demanding compensation for their insecurities If you did it solely for the fact that this flag would have been exclusive and you would be the special snowflake of the lot for having it, you need to check your priorities.

How petty can you be...? If you thought it too much of a grind you shouldnt have grinded for it in the first place. Other people getting this flag does not affect you negatively in any way and.. its just a stupid flag you wont see 95 % of the time. Calm your damn tatas.
