My point is that while other classes have a progression curve that is somewhat constant, ie better torps, guns, armor, etc, cruisers from tier 6 and up actually become slower and are stuck with the same old 203s. (mogami is an exception) Compare the Myoko with ibuki, ships are almolst the same! Now compare a Colorado to an Iowa...get my point?

BBs should be better than CAs, but at high tiers they are TOO MUCH better. As tiers progress, cruisers become more and more sluggish and bigger while battleships become faster (except ijn which are fast to begin with, but they progress in armament ) and faster, negating one of a CAs biggest advantages. At tier 5 a cruiser is a good addition to a team, at tier 10 i'd rather have a dd or a bb on its place.

Des moines is a joke and even if a zao can be menacing in a skilled player's hands, it is nothing compared to a yamato in terms of survivability and average damage per game. Mogami can certainly be considered the best cruiser tier for tier in the game, but compare it to an amagi and you see how big the actual difference is. Heck, even a Fuso has more average damage than a mogami, maybe even kongou.

For you to see that anime chick show up you have to have a futuristic yokosuka port on your screen. And its the CHICK that ruins immersion? Also, you have to train your suspension of disbelief. Also cruisers of tier 7 and up need a survivability buff. CItadels just hurt too much. (basically a citadel equals a hit by a torpedo, but is much more harder to predict and evade) Just my 0.02$.

Team battles without clans? Clans not a priority due to "Lowish" playerbase? Lack of clans is part of the REASON why there are not that many players! WG you will kill your own game!!! Guess I have to gradually start playing less so I dont get dissapointed when this game goes flop. Meh, on the other hand other changes look good. We shall see if Lesta/WG wont shoot themselves in the head.

Havent't read more bullsh in a post in a long time. Clearly you have not played a lot of cruisers, especially high tier, to see how many times your HE shells do nothing against an enemy ship. Usually only first two salvos do full damage, rest do like 40% Its no surprise Cruisers switch to AP as soon as they set a BB on fire (my favorite being in Atlanta, setting a BB on fire then proceeding with 5-8k damage AP salvos, at least untill he notices me and i have to flee or die, most often both.) . Also cruisers never use HE against other cruisers or even carriers (after they have been set on fire) Only comes to show how much AP is clearly superior to HE. Buffing AP pen an damage for cruisers will be even worse for cruisers, since they will now be citadelled all the time not only by BBs, but by other cruisers aswell, and the average lifespan of a CA Player will be 2 minutes or maybe a bit less.

Are BB players STILL complaining about cruiser fires??? God you guys have what now, repairs, heals, anti fire modules... And what do cruisers have against ridiculous citadel hits that take off 80% off your hp?? Stop complaining please,cruisers past tier 5 are useless and no match for battleships of the same tier. Mogami included.

Best looking ships for me: Zao, Admiral Hipper and later tier german cruisers, Gnevny, Taiho (and Hakuryu) Benson, Atlanta (sick camo), Admiral Kutuzov, Yamato (who wouldnt) Tier 8, 9 and 10 american BBs (love the no porthole hulls) Worst looking ships for me: Anything British. Nelsol and Rodnol most of all.

Usually when I met a duo of Murmansks (or omahas, or any other two cruisers, tier 5 or 6, maybe even 7) in a tier 6 Battleship (only one I played is Fuso) There was literally no chance for them.

French destroyers Fantastique or Terrible would be boss. Might be a bit OP Tho. Would definetly buy, maybe even a bundle. Fastest destroyers in the world. And from a navy currently unaviable in the game (and an european one at that) Would definetly grant lots of profit.

Went back to play some Chester today. What I noticed is, torps from Umikazes (a sealclubber's dream) are impossible to avoid. They become visible 2 seconds before you are about to get hit, and your rudder shift is 4 seconds. Not only that but you are slow as hell if you play any sort of tier 2 cruiser. Sampsons and Storozhevois are not that much of a a problem since they cant fire from stealth, but a torp from an umikaze that was fired from stealth is impossible to avoid for any sort of tier 2 or 3 that is not a destroyer.

What about newbies that dont even have commanders to have a situational awareness? Is it fair for them? Oh, and tier 2 torps come your way every 20 seconds, meanwhile at tier X they come every 2 minutes.

Are there still BB captains that believe they can burn to death? Lel.

Got 1 or 2 right off the bat and an additional 1 or 2 by extensive wiki search, but damn, this is hard.

That is hillarious. I am not sure about my case though. Could be when I got the results from my uni entrance exams and realized I got way more cumulative score than all the "Smart" guys and girls from my school that had prepared for these exams for years. I had not prepared at all. I was like a level 10 doing The Black Temple and facing Illidan.
