Completely untrue. BBs have massive range and can chose targets by the dozen. If one player is evading you you can easily switch to another. Whereas IJN DDs for example have lots of sneaking about and maneuvering to do if they hope to do a decent drop, which can be for naught if his target slightly changes course. Or a plane flies by. Or if someone uses radar. You seem to think BBs are hard to play, which they are not.

IJN DDs. Especially lately. Carriers, buffed hydro and radars, gunboats by the dozen, and if players use their wasd hacks they cant do a thing.

In the last few patches montana, iowa and NC got among other things accuracy, speed and AA buffs. Buff them even more so they are able to take on jap BBs and they become OP. Simple as that.

With so many buffs for the Montana a nerf to the Yamato would be too much. Understand it already. Montana is not meant to go toe to toe with a Yamato, Yamato is the queen of BB on BB fights and it is so for a damn reason. Montana is better against anything else, cruisers mainly, due to more guns (that do not overpenetrate so much as Yamato's guns) and better speed, plus good AA, but not other BBs. Maybe with the H41 that would change, as she boasts armor that can resist a Yamato overmatching it, Thus the H41 would be able to go toe to toe with a Yamato.

Always wondered how do pilots land on a ranger without hitting a smokestack. Apparently they fold down. All fair points TBH should be fixed.

Would like a lowtier prem IJN cruiser anyway.

Oh also to add in to my previous post: CAs are also the least survivable class by far.

Myoko is fine. You just have to learn how not to get focused by Battleships. Here now, awareness is key: If you dont know a BB has his sights on you, then you will die or take some bad hits. I've found that being a hard target makes them turn their slow-reloading turrets elsewhere in search of easier targets. What you should to is if you find an enemy BB turning his turrets towards you, sail at 45 degrees towards him, wait for his fire, then as soon as he fires, drop speed to 1/2 or 1/4 and jam the rudder so that you start facing him. And his shots will always hit the water in front of you. The problem I have with the cruiser class and high tier cruisers in general is that they lack good captain skills, as the current captain skills are focused too much towards DDs, BBs or CVs.

Ive played srunk a few times. Results were...passable.

Mods bro. Never used them apart from smoke bounds mod which i dont use anymore because i switshed from dds to cruisers. Never had loading or crash problems.

5 is too much. If you have times where you loaded whole 3 minutes late, then your computer is at fault as that shouldnt happen. Anyway, if you manage to re onnect, then you would gain control back. But you wouldnt get credits or xp for any damage the AI did prior to the reconnect.

Here is my suggestion. If ANY ship lays dormant for 2 minutes or more, an AI takes hold of their ships. The only thing a player gets after the battle if they do not reconnect is the repair bill if the AI dies.

You sure it was not sonar or radar? Only possible explanation to this..

Really don't think Furu is OP now, just got buffed to normal tier 5 cruiser levels. On par with the Kirov and Konig.

CAs are solid as a class, indeed. But need a few more tweaks. Tier 8 is a very low point for them except for the Hipper (dunno about the Chep) The Mogami was left as a wreck after the huge nerf wave with no compensation. Overall I think tier 8 cruisers need a repair party consumable too. The transition from tier 7 to 8 is huge leap forwards for most classes (colorado to NC, Nagato to Amagi, Mahan to Benson, etc) , but when thinking about Mogami, it is just a Myoko that is a bit worse.
