The goal is to ultimately incentivise teamplay, as players that use it well will often have a big advantage over players that do not, thus gently forcing a teamplay oriented game style. The good thing is that effectiveness of such curtains is not reliant on RNG or some lame strategy, but pure timing and placement of the curtain itself, making it almost pure skill based.

Thank you for the support. Yes it is intended more of a CL consumable, as I thought about the RN cruisers and what their role could be. Which IMO should be more of a support rather than damage oriented. Also historically they often launched such curtains to shield friendly ships from fire during the war.

Well. LOOK AT THOOSE CITADELS!!! I mean, Leander, Fiji and Edinburgh have fairly standart under-the-water citadels (leander's citadel is miniature even), but... all the rest of them have HUGE parts that go way above the waterline. This will be a very huge nail in the coffin for those cruisers. (or maybe the coffin itself) Compare theese citadels to the Nurnberg's citadel for example (Nurnberg being a ship famous for getting citadelled ALL THE BLOODY TIME) and you'd feel safe sailing the Nurnberg IMO. Also, from what was leaked, the leter tiers get neither AA Panic consumable nor a plane. so they will be useless for AA.

Bases? that does not discourage it. There should be penalties to XP for doing damage with a lot of friendly ships nearby. We need to get harsh here.

From my BB experience, the only cruisers that need some toning down in terms of fire are the russian ones. These railguns set you on fire too much, from too great a range for there to be any risnk for the cruiser himself. Other cruisers suffer aswell.

Okay, got this ship based on the reviews that came with it. "Really fun ship etc etc." Yet I dont know what to do with it. Its AP cannot damage other BBs, and all cruisers (3 per team) that are in the meta right now turn like hell when they see you. Also you get targeted by CVs and DDs every game, since new ship gotta sink it.... So, lay it down on me. Builds, captain builds, when to use AP and HE, everything. Give it to me.

Well, since when speed has not been important for DDs? The Akizuki can only manage 33kn, the Super-Akizuki could be able to do a few more. A nice upgrade

The only thing a DD needs to do to win the game is to kill the enemy DDs and cap. Simple. Akizuki will be good at it. That said, im very bummed we dont get to see the super-Akizuki class.

I have two ships, two active captains, one reserve captain from a line I no longer use, and brarracks clogged up by Arpeggio captains. It has gotten to the point that I can no longer put my captains in the barracks and have to buy more ships so they have a place, I cant even swap captains between ships! You know, i was in favor of ARP Ships and the like, I like anime, but ffs! I was wondering if I can contact support so they can erase those ARP stuff from my account (except my Haruna) Please note that this thread shouldn't be a flame war between the Anti-anime guys vs the Anime guys. People who play every day probably have enough credits. Or if they don't they should buy premium ships and account. Not bashing you, but it won't work.

Scharnhorst is fine. It has drawbacks. But the real problem are ships that have no drawbacks and only advantages (as mentioned, Atago and MK) that make ships like Prinz Eugen, which is fine on its own, seem dissapointing. The only argument that Im willing to agree on is that 40 Euros is way too damn much for a moneymaking ship that is essentially a Hipper. Max should be 25, i can buy Overwatch for 40 Euros.

The Seaweed camo the Japs have actually really annoys me. (only the Taiho and Shokaku seem to carry it well...carry...get it?...no?) Srsly why paint the ships green? Gonna confuse some color-blind captain or what? Gotta blend well with the rest of the sea-bottom flora? What!??

Limited playstyle in this BB heavy meta, yes. When there are so many BBs in matches something is definetly not right. People cry about more than 3 DDs per team but nobody bats an eye when for a month now we have at least 5 BBs per team on ANY tier.

Perhaps. But I guess one cant change the fact that Imbalanced premiums will be popular meanwhile ones that are on par are "Not worth it" since they are not "Different" enough. In case of MK and Atago in particular, "Different" means outright better.

Cruisers are not UP, its just that the meta is broken ATM since there are too namy BBs and next to nothing to counter them. Always asking for buffs to the least powerfull ships will inevitably lead to massive power creep, and I can already see it happening. Nerf the powerfull ships instead.

I just got annoyed that people call it dissapointing just because its a hipper. As if they expect it to be better in some way. And i hate the notion of premiums that are downright better. Chief offender is the abovementioned Atago, though it may be just the mogami that was overnerfed.
