Yes. Rather nerf the ships that are too powerful than buff normal ships. Only class wide balance change i'd like is a tier 8 heal for cruisers. I also dont see any gap between DDs and BBs. Id go as far to say that DDs are far more crucial for a win than BBs.

Good luck doing that against a 15 point Benson or fletcher. They have the same concealment as you and will gun tou down. Only hope is to torp them, thats why my benson runs with vigilance.

Right now, the meta is crap. The addition of BB line did not help, ofcourse. There is unrest on the forums regarding game balance, but the balance is mostly right. What is not right is the following. Carriers. Not that they are OP or UP. its the fact that their interface is SHITE. And thats coming from Lesta who have an experience with RTS its damn ridiculous. Because of that sole reason not enough players use carriers, and IMO each game should have AT LEAST ONE PER TEAM. Why? Because its the only class that can effectively sour the life of BB and DD players and keep their numbers in check. Games with no CVs.will turn into BB/DD fests ofcourse. Imagine playing rock paper scissors without the paper. Ofcourse people would use rocks. Therefore I declare that making carriers playable by making their interface comfortable to use (even starcraft has easier RTS controls) is the TOP PRIORITY of this game. Coupled with the british carrier line to boost numbers. Anybody is welcome to try and discredit my argument.

Plenty of players, including me have over 60% winrate, but you never see the sub 40 %-ers Perhaps you DO skew the MM just so the terrible players do not lose too many games and stay in the game.

On to your second point. Starcraft is a good rts with good controls, but its hard. CVd due to their crap interface are even harder though, despite on paper you have like 5 or 6 units to control in contrast to sc which has you control way more crap. On to the first. Try calling a competent hakuryu player an ornament. If anything we need more, BB tears or not.

The idiocy in this thread is too damn high. US ships are fine. Sure some of the cruisers suck but every line has sucky ships, even the russian one. Kirov being prime example of pure citadelium. Calling the russian navy a fail is stupid. They were the only damn part of the soviet military service that held their craptogether during barbarosa, and were damn more successful than the german navy (except the submarines) considering what ships they had at their disposal.

Warspite is in its WW2 refit tho. Seriously stop asking for warspite buffs. Its a fine ship that can stand on its own in tier 6. Not every premium must be a p2w machine.

and what happens when the 5 BBs on the enemy team catch sight of you? You tell me. the whole cruiser class may not be useless, there are some pretty good ships. but around tiers 7 and 8 with the monstrous ships like Benson, Fubuki, Amagi, Bismark, NCal, the carriers, and ofcourse, the premium cruisers that are simply better. playing the Standart tier 7 and 8 cruisers, which are really not an improvement over one another, feels like crap.

And that whining is well founded. CAs are obsolete in the current meta. They can barely influence a game. Get good is not an argument. Especially so if my stats are already good.

Cruisers from tier 7 and 8 are god awful. Most of the battles im in, if a DD does not suicide rush, itis a cruiser thst dies first. They have to watch out against BBs AND other cruisers, becayse they have NO hp whatsoever, NO way to gain it back, and NO way to escape reliably compared to other classes. Tier 8 definetly needs the heal consumable. Tier 7 needs buffs in soft characteristics.
