I think the right counter to rocket planes is to hope your DD gets sunk and while fully submerged gets patched up and transformed to a submarine. I do believe that's historically accurate as well.

One thing that shows how the team play has changed is that before the rework people communicated at least a bit. Remember "AB or BC?"? I don't think I've seen that communication in well over 100 battles, a small communication which I before saw in pretty much every battle. I guess it's less common now because nobody really believes in capping. Maybe noone wants to committ to certain caps since that means you're going to be the CVs main target.

I agree that it's a little bit too drastic to be able to choose your opponents. But how about being able to at least choose your build (AA, secondary, concelmeant...) based upon the match lineup?

I used to play this game every day, which almost burned me out. All these events made me feel forced to play which had a negative impact on my experience. There were so many missions to grind that practically made me play every day, making the game feel like a job. Nowadays i don't care about the missions, hell I don't even look at them and it feels alot better. The CV rework pretty much makes up for my increasing interest though. I don't really mind it but Wargaming better step up with the balancing. I've found myself playing the same two ships all the time now; Massachussetts and Buffalo. And Buffalo not because it's a fun ship but for grinding reasons. DD play is doable but simply unfun in it's current state and not all BBs and Cruisers are fun to play with an AA build. Can anyone recommend other ships which are fun in this meta? How is Kidd doing? Massachussetts is still hell alot of fun and that's of course because a secondary build also buffs the AA.

Does this mean the CV rework is done? That WG consider everything is balanced and OK?

Do planes still spot surface ships on their way back to the carrier?

So when will it be removed? Next week?
