The graphical change to the Aircraft Carriers continues to look awful from the preview. I really do hope it gets reversed once more people get to see it after the update drops. Just such a pointless change, seemingly nobody would ask for, which makes the carrier deck desolate and odd. The only reasoning for it I can come up with is to de-crowd decks of ships like the USS Hornet, but instead making it specific to select CVs it's getting applied to all of them equally.

Agreed. They even picked Midway as an example to show us; and you can see how terrible her huge deck looks sparsely populated by a handful of planes. They're all spaced out so weirdly too. What historical reference have they been looking at, if any? That said, who even looks at their carrier deck and counts visible planes to determine how many of them they've got available? You press ALT and can see a number. The enemy can't use that at-a-glance information either, since you can only see your planes on deck and no one else's. Seems to me like a change for the sake of a change. I got a Kaga recently and she looks amazing with all those planes stacked up on her deck. It looks good. I don't want that to go away, if they must make it an option to "depopulate carrier decks".
