Looking forward to see the what Jintsuu will get. Out of all the current ones, Tatsuta has the best summer. But I am most deffinetly looking forward to the new Crane Kai Ni CG. They can't be far of now. Considering that the Taihou was a sort of further development of the Shoukaku class, maybe Cranes will get Crossbows? I really don't hope so. But they will probably get some upgrade to their weapon/bow as the item is a catapult, as it is an upgrade to the way they launch their planes, that is my reasoning at least. You guys got any guesses for their upcoming new CG?

Something like this would be usefull. If you could hover the mouse over an ally and then get a command wheel like in WoT that you can then use to tell them to fall back, help push forward, watch out for DD, tell them enemy/friendly torps are incoming would be very usefull. Especially if it was translated in to different languages. Might not allways help, but every bit does.

Damn Wo Kai is the biggest Gandalf for me right now. beating X and Y node on E7, easy. Get stopped at M node on all attempts, might have to sparkle everything again.

I am mostly concerned with my steel as well as time requirements as I will only have a limited amount of time per day as work stats on monday, and if I have to sparkle multiple fleet (main, escort, support) and make runs on both the X/Y node and the boss it self, I am wondering what might be the best way to go about it and how much it takes.

Okay. I am considering if I should go for E7 easy or go and farm ships in other areas. I got 20.717 fuel, 33.524 ammo, 14.529 steel and 22.764 bauxite along with 157 buckets. You guys think this is enough to do it in the time that I got left? How many runs did you spend? Did you have to sparkle your fleets and did you use both boss and node support? Also, my vacation ends on monday reducing the time I can spend on Kancolle.

The best way to kill the boss is actually to kill all the escorts and then in night battle do Cut ins on the boss.

I did fine up untill E6. Then RNG sama just said **** you and everything went wrong. I don't even think it's the difficulty, just that those Wo Kai are so RNG heavy for me. The first 8 runs I didn't even make it to the boss, then the next 8 I did make it there with no Taiha a single time. I even managed to kill the boos once during the day, so it is not my fleet lacking. Edit: Funny enough this happened on the run my AACI failed to activate I am not running boss support expedition as I don't find it worth using the resources on. RNG sama works in strange ways. And now for the last 4 runs when I am just missing final kill, those Wo Kai will not let me get to boss. I am not going to do E7. Just don't have the resouces for it nor the time to constantly sparkle my ships for runs as my studies resume on monday. Not that it matters, as I most likely will have the catapult by then.

True. Are Japan even allowed to have full CV? In any case, it probably would not take that much to remodel her get fixed wing aircraft if the situation really demanded it.

I think one of the reasons that the new event is so hard or RNG dependant, is the more difficult enemies they have added in over time. Sure we have gotten more Kai Ni and better equipment as well and a lot of mechanics to make it somewhat easier, but sometimes those enemies can easily result in a random Taiha if they just roll right. Those new Wo classes don't help either, I really hate them with a passion. Edit: Actually I think it is rather difficult to say if it is easy or not, as your own experience can be very heavily based on RNG sama

Well, sometimes ASW can be good, but usually it is nothing that is that important as the most important ASW comes from equipment anyway. Might be usefull for something like 1-5, but otherwise not so much.

Well, loosing ships are allways bad. First of all you have to level the ship again afterwards (that is if you can even replace her). On top of this, all the equipment equipped on her is lost, and usually during events that is the best you had. Only a Kuso TTK would ever dream of loosing their ships. On another note, I am still having trouble with E6 medium. Would you guys say that north or south route is easier? I only got 3 Reppuu. I just can't reach the boss at all, those Wo classes keep kicking my [edited].

I will just put this to bed here and now. I asked Ectar at a community meet up about the decision for getting USSR navy first. His answer: The reason is purely economical. The fact of the matter is that russian playerbase is the biggest playerbse WG has and the biggest source of income. Also the RU playerbase is very patriotic and really want russian vehicles. This is also the reason why the Berlin trio in WoT was originally suppsosed to just have been 3 russian tanks, but the EU department said that this would just not do, and thus we got the Cromwell B. Buttom line is, they are just catering to their biggset playerbase from an economical viewpoint. Doesn't matter which navy was more famous or not, they are just doing what puts money in their pockest. After all, they are first and foremost a business and needs to make money.

I am using both Fubuki Kai Ni and Maya Kai Ni AACI on E6, but it rarely seems to make much of a difference. That Wo just keeps making one of my ships go red, and without FCF, that is the end of a run for me. The problem for me is: With no FCF I am allways forced to restart. I am missing Abukuma Kai Ni and her valuable pre emptive torpedo strike. She can take out one enemy before the battle begins. I only have 3 Reppuu and 2 Shidens (RNG sama is not nice with crafting here ). Also I did make the mistake of locking shigure in an earlier map, that was a mistake I made, and without Yukikaze

Wow. I am just having so much trouble with E6. Those Wo classes are just wrecking me. Edit: Okay, I have made my decision. After 8 runs on E6 medium I am giving up. Going back to farm other maps for event ships and then that is it for me. Might try E6 on easy another time. But the catapult just isn't worth it. Going to hope for it to show up at some point later.
