In my opinion, crusiers aren't really worth it that much in high tiers. Especialyl tier 10. Those BB will just wreck you at such a long range. -
You are right, I meant Kirishima and Haruna. And thanks for the answer guys. Makes sense, can't see them willingly give away a free tier 5 and 7 premium ship.

They have allready tesed Kongo and Haruna, so we know they technically are in the game, just no available. They might also add takao later, as she seems to be the fan favourite from the anime, but as takao is a tier 8, I am not sure if they want to give out a free tier 8. Edit: Can anyone who has one of them yet tell me, if they work like normal premium ships (providing bonus credits) or not?

Agreed, this is a great set of missions. You are not punished for not having a specific ship, and you aren't forced to try and go for specific targets. As long as you do something that helps your team win and do well, you are rewarded. I like it.

How many planes can you kill without a Clear SKy medal?

The barage doesn't seem to count, because the enemy squadron aren't "targeted" or "selected". It seems you have to press Ctrl + left click to make AA guns kills count and left click a target with a squadron, just using barage don't count. Yes it sucks Edit: it might actually work now with the changed requirement for the achievement. -
You can use tier 8 DD, so why not some of those? I can see the blys being a good DD hunter and be a pain in the [edited]for BB's by setting them on fire, especially in the hands of a good player. If somebody is really good with torps though, the fubuki could be good. But that really depends on how good you are with torps. For the early ranks with tier 5-6, well my mutsuki carried me through season 2. But my money is on blys being a good contender.

True, there are a bit of teamkilling going on right now, but as long as the enemies are killed then that is one less enemy shooting back at you. You are complaining about others stealing DD kills from you, because YOU want to get the kill (presumebly for missions), but are forgetting others want the same thing. They aren't doing anything you aren't. Also, you got 2 months to do it yet, as long as you are a half decent player, you should be able to do it in no time. Just play ships that generally counter those targets and play like normal. Over time the kills will pile up. If you specifically only go for those, and then get angry/stressed when others get the kill, your performance will automaticly drop.

Does anybody else have a problem with their FPS on the map Shatter? I just played it and got down to 14 average FPS, when I normally have 60. Normally I would think it was a one time thing, except 90% of players in the match on both teams reported the same drop in FPS. So, how many else have had this issue? Was it just our match or is it a general problem with the map right now?

Haruna and Kirishima will become available at some other time. Probably as reward for more missions. It has never been stated that any of the ships would be given, you have to earn them by completing missions. Hope this clears up the confusion. -

You know, some people are just crazy On a more serious not. Many people have different things they like, and at times they like to mix those together. Because why only do one thing you like, when you can bring the two together? Also, with regards to question regarding hello kitty. Well, there probably are hello kitty skins in form of mods, or they would be easy to make. Why aren't they officially added to the game like the Arpeggio skins? Well, simply, the makers og Arpeggio and WoWs are doing an official collaboration between the companies. If there wasn't, the skins would still be limited to mods. Hell, we could get official hello kitty skins and perhaps voices to the game if WG for some reason decided to do a collaboration. I highly doubt it and can't see why they ever would, but it could be done.

Well, that sort of depends on if people can live with the historical inaccuracies and fan service/yuri themes. Considering the people who whine or have trouble understanding how anime and WW2 fit together, maybe not the best one to introduce them to. But for the rest, well it's okay I guess. Again, depends on if they can accept the crazy situation.

Never sold any gift ship. Why not keep it? It cost nothing to get and does not use any slot (the slot was free, so nothing is lost). Sure you could get something, but I just keep it. Might take it out for fun every now and again, and if nothing else I got another beautiful ship to look at.

While I do love your sense of humor, I am not sure I agree with you? You complain that DD can fire torpedoes that are difficult to detect and fire from stealth in smoke? In they could not do that, what else should they do? They have such poor survivability if they could not hide. The way they are implemented like this is to make them competetive, because otherwise they would just die before getting anything done as cruisers and BB would just shoot them. They got no armor and get their rudder/engines knocked out incredibly easy. They need to be able to hide just to live long enough to do something.

Don't worry, I will take out my Hiryu those days, so there will be plenty of planes to shoot down from me, doesn't mean that I will just let them suicide, but you will have the chance And yes, I will enable it, as I watched the anime and found it good enough and the skins look cool. I like the glowy alien symbols. If you don't like it, just don't use Yokosuka port and the missions won't be available and all Arpeggio ships will just appear as standard Kongo's and Myoko's, so it won't break the immersion for the rest of players. It's a win win situation, so I got no problem with it

You do realize that you responded to a post from april? A lot of changes have been made since then, most importantly, the fire arch and travel time of the Clevelands shells. Back when this thread was made, the ship was a lot better than it is now.

Wait, HE spamming is actually that bad? I usually load AP and aim at nearest cruiser and they dissapear. Rarely take that much fire damage. On the other hands, I do get citadelled more than I would like. Seems like that mechanism gives as much as it takes -

That depends. If you are doing okay and have no problem playing with the limited range at which you can invisi fire, then you might as well go for the fire perk. But if you have trouble with that, then every little bit of extra concealment helps. -

Agreed. It is so annoying when you are trying to progress in your tier 6 cruiser and you have to count on your tier 8 tirpitz to do a proper job, when all they do is fire at max range and going in the opposite direction. Makes it very difficult for a cruiser when you can't attack enemies because nobody wants to support you. -

If you are talking about the 1 day of premium, you got that one for completing one of the special event mission going on right now. If you got more than 1 day of premium, then I don't know. -

There is some truth to that, but then again, the way things are right now, you are basicly hoping for RNG to ensure you can have a fun round (where others might not have so much fun because they are defenseless) or others can have fun, but you will just end up frustrated. Personally I do not think that WG has implemented CV and AA in the game very well. It is to simple, and there are so few stats, factors or whatever they can manipulate to try and balance it out. Simplifying things can be good in that it is easier to learn to play, but can make it difficult when it comes to balancing. -
Wait, fires don't count? well, that explains why flooding seems to reward me more. Maybe I should focus on sending in the dive bombers first and have them waste the damage control on stopping fires, than starting with flooding first.

CV's face a huge balance problem. Buff their planes too much and they wipe any lower tiers who won't stand a chance, nerf them too much and they are useless against higher tiers. Even my Hiryu can't approach a lone North Carolina (A lone BB being the target that CV are supposed to punish), so there surely are some problems here. Why even pick a tier 7 CV if my tier 5 or 6 BB can do more damage and contribute more. Also, for anybody whining about tier 6 wiping out tier 4 and 5, guess what? We aren't talking about that, we are talking about when CV is low tier against higher tier ships. They are 2 different problems! Personally, I think that CV should just get there matchmaking limited, so that a tier 6 can't meet anyone too higher than them or too low. This prevents the AA of enemies from being too strong or too weak. -
True, for the short range torpedo attacks where it gets within range this can help a lot. For the long range invisible DD's you don't even have to do that, just changing speed, direction and so on constantly (happens automaticly if you are evading enemy fire from other BB and CA), and the torpedoes will automaticly miss if they are fired from the around 8km range or more. By the time they get to you, the wide spread will make so big gabs you can easily evade the, and the short spread just misses entirely as all torps fire ahead of you or behind, and even this is not needed as most people fire torps after the lead indicator, which stop being correct a few sec after the torps are fired if the target makes any speed/course change. Hell, I avoid 90% of torps fired at me without even trying. Suddenly they just show up far behind me, infront or to the sides, completely missing.
