Well, the missions are still there, but the ships are disabled. Not really sure why missions should be disabled, they don't block others from being completed, and it's not like you see them in game, except the one min or two you take to check your current missions. Just people being butthurt that anime is in the game.

There aren't any USN ships in this battle. This is a Germany vs Japan event from WW1. Go check the appropriate thread.

Thanks Wargaming! For the new Arpeggio details :-)
SBS replied to Varian_Dorn's topic in General Discussion
Yep, it is awsome. Hmm, probably actually should start to play with the ARP ships considering that I got them unlocked. But I am so busy grinding the other trees -
Those may be RN ships, but they sail the pirate flag. Does that say something of their view of RN? In any case, I am amused by these April 1. jokes the devs make. Doesn't mean that I will play WT again.

Well, WG has released a video not too long ago, probably teasing us in some way like they usually do around such strange events. Last year during Beta we had World of Spaceships with wacky and funny references to show like Arpeggio of blue steel, Spacebattleship Yamato, Startrek, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica. Now the question is, what do you think will come this year based on this video? Do you think they are foreshadowing something in the video? What do you think will happen this year? If the video is foreshadowing something, maybe we get flying ships? A bumpership mode where we can only ram? A map made out of a giant bath tub? Ships become rubber ducks? Speculate away! For anyone who hasn't seen the video, here it is:

Hmm, have you tried to disable Anti Virus to see if that could be the problem? Can you post a screenshot of the pop up? There isn't much I can do based on what little information you have provided. I would suggest taking a screenshot of pop up and send it to WG support via a support ticket.

Too bad you do not have melon. Then again, she is rather useless, regardless of how beautiful she is.
-
Hmm, how did I miss that? Must have been sleepy when I read them
-
Haha, I actually got a good laugh out of that one OP. Comepletely agree, these ships are way too beautifull for our younger players, something must be done!

Okay, thanks

It's doesn't hurt my ears except being annoying. I am just pointint it out, that for some people that is the case, I have hurt people complain about it in matches. It is still something that needs to be taken in to account.

It's just that I can not find where it says it. When ever I look, all it says is "World of Warships is part of the Wargaming.net Universe and share the benefits of the single Wargaming.net ID and Unified Premium Account Service" There is no specific mention of Gold or Free experience.
-
When was that picture taken?
-
The problem is, that noise actually hurts some peoples ears. Not exactly smart game development. And this isn't war, this is a game. It has to be pleasant to play, not hurt.

If they add some sort of feature like having multiple builds of a single ship sitting in port, expect it to cost lots of doubloons some way. Having to use doubloons to remove modifications, is of the games ways to fund itself. To if something like that were to happen, we would probably end up with builds costing gold, and that prize would have to be high enough for WG to justify getting rid of current system. After all, right now some people can switch out modifications multiple times on one ship, that adds up. So do not expect any new systemto be cheap.

Still waiting to make use of the 8000 gold I got in WoT, plan to buy port slots with it, though I think that dream is pretty much dead at this point. WG was advertising the unified account way back when both WoWp and WoWs was in development, and they did it for WoT and WoWp, but when WoWs came out, people were asking and WG didn't really get much of an answer except to wait.

I have never heard these reports and I have never been detonated when using both flags together, then again I have only ever had 6 detonation in 600+ battles, so maybe I am just lucky. Maybe maybe the flag reduces the chance by 100% and the other then incrieses it by 5% so it is only at a 5% chance of what it normally would be. That would be a large reduction if that is the case, well one can hope, right?

Well, I just finished quest F21, so I got my second Flight Deck. Now I just need the medals and Zuikaku can join her sister at Kai Ni.
-
Except she needs to win 20 battles with a CV and get a tier 5 CV first. So she is still stuck
-
I believe it does, but I am curious as well.

Saipan requirements announced: 20+ CV wins, at least one T5 carrier
SBS replied to Ragweek's topic in Aircraft Carriers
I am very well aware about it. I was merely explaining why it is that people wanted a restriction for the purpose of the Saipan, and why some feel that it was not big enough. I am just happy that they are willing to give some restriction and take action that actually limits their own sales. That is more than most would ever dream of doing. -
[0.5.4.1] DDs I Feel For Ya *Insert A Maniacal Laugh*
SBS replied to t3h3th32's topic in General Discussion
I love how people are saying this won't help cruisers and any way. Let is wait untill the update and we actually get to try it. Personally I do not think the point it to makeit a 100% counter to DD, but more to sort of make it more difficult for DD. They now have to consider if they want to get closer or not, or if they want to get in to a cap circle. -
Saipan requirements announced: 20+ CV wins, at least one T5 carrier
SBS replied to Ragweek's topic in Aircraft Carriers
I think the big concern people have is how unbalanced this could potentially make the game. After all, think about this. We now got a match with 2 Saipans, 1v1. One is a guy who has a tier 10 CV and has a a well trained captain with all the right skills, while the other is captained by a guy who just have the reuired amount of matches. The experienced player is going to wipe the floor with the other guy, and this gives an incredible handicap for the team who has the new guy on their team. With some restrictions to purchasing, you can at least ensure that the saipans that will end up against each other, have are more evenly matched, and thus the teams are more evenly matched. Personally, I am happy that they put in some restriction, and I applaud WG decision to actually limit their very own sales, to accomodate out wishes. -
