    New trend: DDs now camping behind the BBs

    Battle starts: >90% of DD's rush the caps. ~40 of CL/CA's follow the DD's. <10% of BB's actually move forward to create a battleline close to the caps. ~20% of BB's don't move at all during the first few minutes of battles. ~40% of BB's start going parallel to the caps. Close to the end of the battle: A single, or two, Tirpitz or Scharhorsts with full HP, (without camo?) is lingering along the egde of the map, after the entire team has been wiped.

    Should divs be banned/removed from Random?

    Divisions in Random is fine. I'd even go so far, that it should be an option to "connect" two divisions, so you'll be able to enter a game with more than 2 friends... Put the divisions on opposite teams, if you're afraid of steamrolling, but allow more than 3 friends to play random together.

    There's a lot of clicking in the game... So much I had to move my "fire" to the spacebar, simply because my right arm/neck started hurting. It's all about getting the best work position, whether your working, or having fun.

    In my opinion, being dragged into Tier X battles in a Tier VIII is boring and gets old really fast in cruisers and destroyers at least.
  6. After really really hating the Yubari, and never really touched it, I saw people mentioning it as being a pretty good ship, and I decided to give the oddity a try again... Finding a 10 point captain to put on her (I think that's the best I have so far?) This is what happened: Kind of surprising

    That depends, as you can see, I had a game where i relatively easy killed 8 aircraft from a Langley, what the screenshot doesn't tell, is that the game before I had two enemy carriers literally flying overhead with aircraft, where I was only able to pick off 1 or 2. I'm pretty sure that "scenario" was people having fun in tier IV before they'll remove the manual torping, also considering their performance. I've only got a 10 point captain on her, and just wondering, the AFT only gives buff to 85 mm and above, and BFT to main guns up to 139 mm.... since my main guns are 140 and I only have 1 x 120 mm, does it even make any sense using these two?

I remember when the Type 59 was implemented, it was never overpowered, and the consensus at the time was, that premium vehicles were not to be better than their tree counterpart, hence the T-54 would beat a Type 59 and was better. What made the Type 59 seem overpowered, was as soon it was released, you'd see platoons roll over battles in them, in a time when not many were driving the T-54 yet.... and those who did, usually lost a lot of credits doing so (if my memory serves me well) That was a long time ago, and WoT was a great game back then (during beta and release)

Just the ones I find awesome Oh, and yes, I have a crapton of money to spend, so why not do it on something I like I also spend a crapton of money on flying and boating....
  15. Do you by any chance have an Imperator Nikolai and 3000+ battles in it? I'm pretty sure you do, cause your hetz towards CV's make you sound like you don't like your OP BB being sunk.....

While being a manly man, going in with my chesthair first and brushing everybody aside with my testosterone, I rushed in between an enemy team, big guns and secondaries blazing, showing my broad shoulders and hairy teeth, they did bow down to my manliness and let me destroy them.... Until an enemy Gneisenau showed up, and decided to play the girls game, launching torps at me..... I had to correct him promptly..... but hit the wrong button and off went a broadside of torps which sent him to Davey Jones' locker.... All that testerone makes my hand that of a carpenter brute, and hitting those small buttons on the keyboard hard as hell... I have to admit, that torp-broadside made me feel so girly and dirty... I haven't fully recovered yet

I want submarines! - Only detectable by ships with hydro when submerged, as a shadow unless they have their periscope up.. - Only sinkable by depthcharges, on DD's while submerged,or on divebombers. - Not able to cap unless on the surface. - Slow as hell while submerged. - Reduced viewrange while submerged. Maybe only shadows of surfaceshipss, unless you raise your periscope for targetaquisition, but then you'll be spotted and the periscope draw fire. - You can stealthfire your torps without raising your periscope, but then you don't get" the green lines" firingsolution. - Run over submarines while submerged and release a depthcharge run, maybe put in a shallow/deep option for the charges, same for the submarine... if you hit the correct depth, it hurts A LOT, if not, it hurts a little? But.... I want submarines.... I'd buy them immidiately if they show up.

    Bots don't care... They have all the time in the world to wait I don't know to be honest, there's no real idea in the system we have now, people will just get into another battle with another boat.... why not let them in the boat that was just sunk.... The reasoning that they'll play poorly to gather XP fast, is a bit loose, when they can, as I wrote above, jump into another boat, and do it on multiple lines instead...

Well, cruisers having a shorter range than BB's, and being required to really handle DD's creates a requirement for BB's to move closer to the battle to aid said cruisers, by tanking and shooting at the enemy BB's. The further away from the brawl the BB's are, the harder the job for the cruisers if they get into the brawl, risk of insta deletion after being focus fired upon by the entire enemy fleet of enemy BB's that sees you as an easy target. And now they want to increase the range of BB's? Maybe we need a month or two where cruisers and DD's move behind the BB's, to force them into battle.... or start battles with BB's going full speed ahead and being unable to turn for the first 60 seconds

    Increase range of BB's? Why?? To increase engagement range, and let them fire the first shot from invisibility??? Remove invisi-firing? Why?? The feature is an annoyance at the most, for BB's at least. And BB's left standing at the end of the battle deserves to get their asses handed to them, they're more often than not the reason a team looses.... what's next? DD's will pop up when firing torpedoes?? CV..... why not just remove them, if you're gonna break them anyway.

That's what breaks the game, the lack of teamplay, especially from BB's sitting in the back, totally not wanting to expose their big healthpool to enemy fire, and running away as the first sight of incomming shells. It really really ruins gameplay for CL and DD's, who wil get roflstomped if faced with a more agressive enemy fleet of BB's. Nothing is worse than figthing the crapout of your life, and finding the two remaining ships on your team are two BB with full health, riding along the edge, firing at maximum range. How is that solved? I would love to reduce the range of BB's to the range of a DD.
