1. Thing is. A Single Flak Hit wont Delete your Squadron. In General a Single Flak Hit will just turn some Planes Yellow. So unless you are extremely Unlucky. And Fly into the Flak of an Ship that has DefAA Active. You will not have your Squadron Deleted by this Mistake. But having an Enemy with DefAA and then Flying into his Flak Clouds. Equals a DD being caught by Radar from a Worcester on 8km. Yet. The CV only loses 1 Squadron for it. The DDs Match is likely Over. 2. You may Ignore other Players Expectations. But if you want to Win a Match this is often Required. If you as your Teams DD avoid the Enemy DD and allow it to Roam Free. Giving it the Cap etc. You are posing a Great Disadvantage to your Team. Other Players Expectations aside. If you want to Win as a DD. You have no Choice but to Take Risks where you might get Deleted if you make a Mistake. 3. Not Misreading anything. "It Requires greater miscalculation to get Paddled in a DD than to Eat Flak" is the same as saying "It is Harder to Dodge Flak than to avoid being Paddled in a DD" If you just wanna limit it to the Time Required. Then Yes. The DD will need longer because he is much Slower. But Sorry. This is not really Relevant is it ? A DD doing a Critical Mistake may indeed Survive Longer than the First Squadron of a CV doing a Critical Mistake. But aside from the Fact that the CV then has only lost 1 Squadron while the DD is gone. The effect in Total is not really dependent on Time here. This is not a Competition of who can Manage to be Paddled Faster. Its a Question of who is more likely to be Paddled. Who has it more Difficult to not be Paddled. And who Suffers more from a Paddling. And in all 3 Cases. it is obvious that the DD has it way Worse. A. Both the DD and the CV are effectively Forced to Constantly run this Risk unless they want to be Weakened considerably. Because if you are Limited to just Drop Torps from outside Concealment range your Hitchances get Diminished Considerably. (And Yes. You can actually do that with CVs. I do it alot on Graf Zeppelin and Kaga for example if I want to Avoid Flying into AA Blobs) So on the Chance they are pretty much Equally Bad. B. The DD has to Compete with an Enemy Players Actions and Reactions. The CV meanwhile only has to Compete with an Automated AA System which is easy to Predict and Avoid. But most Importandly. So on Difficulty. The CV clearly has it way Easier than the DD. C. And this is the Big One. The DD is Risking his Entire Ship on this. The CV only 1 Squadron of Planes. Meaning the Risk for the DD is Improportionally Bigger.

Not to Offend You. But Dodging Flak is MUCH Easier than to not get Killed as a DD while still doing your Job. Sitting in the Rear being useless certainly wont pose much Risk for a DD. But then your also not doing anything. Not only that DDs are Expected to Right away win a Fight against the Enemy DD and take the Cap. Which in itself already Forces an Extreme Risk onto them. But their Max Range in most cases is 12km or less. Meaning if they want to do anything remotely useful they are pretty much Forced to take that Risk. If you really wanna Claim that Dodging Flak is Harder than being a DD that is useful to the Team without making a mistake and getting Paddled then I really got no Idea what Game your Playing. Because it clearly cant be World of Warships lol. Its not so much the Problem of using the Rockets or not Accepting that some Targets are Bad for them. Its the Problem of exactly there being Targets bad for them. But also a General Problem with Game Mechanics and Enemies. MvR Rockets take quite a long Approach and as they become almost useless when the Enemy is Angled. This tends to mean that they can only be used when the Target is otherwise Forced to Show Broadside or is a Complete Potato which doesnt realize that he will Eat alot of Damage. At the same time. DDs and BBs will generally not really need to bother with MvR Rockets because they wont take much Damage out of them. Worse. Even many Cruisers thanks to having Spaced Armor will be capable of Weathering MvR Rocket Attacks even with minimal Angling or even no Angling at all. Thanks to this. MvR Rockets are extremely Situational and not Consistent at all. And for Good CV Players the Fact that they dont work well against Skilled Opponents is also Problematic because one of the Biggest Advantages a good CV Player gains from his CV. Is the ability to take out Dangerous Enemies and prevent them from Carrying their Team.
-
1. I never considered MvR Rockets Consistent lol. But everything always has variations. Kaga for example can make 10 Mistakes and Still Fight on. So yes. Some CVs are more or less forgiving. The Fact however remains. That CVs are vastly more forgiving than other Classes. 2. Because: Weakening applies for any Ship. Any Ship will be Hampered by losing a Third of its HP. A Typical CV Excuse is that CVs lose Combat Power while others dont. But thats Rubbish. All Ships lose Combat Power. Because if they lose HP they lose Options. BBs are the most Obvious cause they cant Attack while staying Hidden. So for them. HP equals their Ability to actually Fight. As for each Strike they make. They have to Expect getting Striked themselves. Cruisers are the same. Each Attack also is a Risk. And if you lost Half your HP in a Mistake. That means Half of your Game is gone as your ability to Sustain the Counterattack is heavily reduced. Especially DDs are often claimed to still be unfazed even if they are low HP. But thats complete bollocks. A Low HP DD is extremely weakened. He cant Spam Gunfire from Smoke. He cant bait Radar. He cant stay Close to Enemies, He is effectively the same as a CV that lost 2 of his 3 Squadron Types. Because at this Point he can only Stealthtorp. Assuming its one of the DDs which can do that. Oh and also assuming there is no CV. Cause the moment there is a Halfwat Competent CV. Any Ship with low HP. Explicitly a DD. Is buggered..... Thing is. For a DD this Situation is extremely common. Cause a Single Mistake can result in just this happening. While a CV has to make at least 3 Mistakes for this.

Mate. WW2 is about 80 Years Ago. The Only Submarines that could Suck in Air at Periscope Depth was the Latewar German Submarines Equipped with Snorkels. Radio Equipment of that time was generally not usable underwater either. Submerged a Sub was Blind. Needless to Say. They had no IFF. Your Fleet had no Idea where you are. Divetime. Minimap etc. All is just for the Game to work. I Agree Subs should not have Limited Divetime. But People are unfortunately Stupid. They think if Subs can stay Submerged Unlimited. They are Invincible if last Enemy is a BB. Who cares that DDs can already do that.
-
1. I am Aware. Thing is. Standard CV gets 3 Squadrons and 3 Half Squadrons as Reserve. He also Regenerates about Half a Squadron of each Type per Game. So assuming that he is Really making the most Epic Fail Decisions on his Squadron. He can do that 6 Times before he is useless in the Match. And thats the Full Epic Fail of somehow managing to lose the whole Squadron entirely without any Survivors. Normal mistakes where half a Squadron gets Killed can be made Twice as often etc. Thanks to that CVs are Generally Exceedingly Forgiving. Way more so then any other Class. The only Class that comes Close would be BBs. Which while not being Guaranteed to Survive Epic Fails. Can often Survive 2 or 3 of them. 2. I am not Worried on Balance to be Honest. Because Frankly. Most CVs always Ignored DDs anyways.
-
1. Your Feelings are just that. The tuthh is. If you Rank Classes by how forgiving they are. Top Spot is CVs. Most CVs can make up to 10 Critical Mistakes and Yet stay in the Game. And only the few most insane mistakes will actually make them get Deleted. Moreover. They mostly Operate in a Low Risk way. Most of their Actions do not requkre them to take Risks. Second is BBs. They can weather a Good amount of Fails and will also not be Deleted unless being exceedingly stupid or unlucky. And while they have to be somewhat more at Risk to takeAction they are still at a Comfortable position. Third is Cruisers. They can Die Quickly on Mistakes. And wont Tolerate much Mistakes. But they are still somewhat out of Harms way unless they make a bigger Mistake. Least Forgiving are DDs. Not because making a Mistake gets you killed very quickly. In that regard alone as you say. Cruisers would take the Cake. But DDs to take any Action have to be in Risky Places. Tvey are far more likely to make that mistake when they try to do their Job. And yes there is Exceptions. Some Cruisers are Super forgiving rarely getting Punished. Some BBs afe Sqishy as Hell and even some CVs can end up Dead in Minutes. But thats outliers. In Total. CVs are really forgiving and DDs are really not. 2. You should maybe Learn a bit more than. Cause Rockets can be rather Powerful for other things too. And Especially against Skilled DDs. Rockets still beat Torps. Also you are making a Typical Error of Judgement here. Becazse 99% thing goes both ways. You wont notice it for DDs as much. (Actually I take that back. You do. Everyone does all the Time when 4 of 4 DDs on tveir Team manage to Die First.....) But in Average you get 3 DDs per Team. So 6 per Match. You get 1 per Team on CVs and not even each Match. Now this is not an Accurate Calculation. But basicly. In 10 Matches you meet maybe 6 CVs. However. You meet 60 DDs. Hence your Chances to mert a Competent DD. Is much Bigger. But the Ratio of Skill is the Same. 99% of DDs I meet in my CV. Are Potatoes. They got no Idea how to Evade. Many wont even turn AA off. Others will hide behind their fleet and be useless. In Average I wont be scared off a Halland in my T8 CVs. Cause the Chance is that the guy got no Idea how to actually play against a CV. 3. Yes lol. And now mind Telling me. Why Exactly a CV should be Superior to all 3 Classes in that Stand ? Because thats not Balanced. Thats OP as Heck. 4. Silver Line has Longrange Hydro and Secondaries instead Yes. They also get Icebreakers and way better Armor than most BBs. Again Mate. How are DDs better off here ? 6. As explained above. Likelihood is different. Cruisers and DDs are very likely to pay a Mistake with their Lives. BBs only rarely have that. And Cruisers and BBs can Play without being in Positions where these Mistakes are Likely. DDs cant. 7. Nope. Low Tier CV are 4 and 6. High Tier are 8 and 10. Hence there is roughly Equal CV Numbers in High and Low Tiers. CV Numbers are just Generally very low. Which is not Surprising cause most People consider them Boring as Hell. Their only real Selling Point is being OP right now. And the more this OPness is reduced by Nerfs. The Less Players will Suffer their Boring Gameplay.
-
1. Mate.... DDs are currently the most Difficult Class to Play properly in.... Because in a DD most Mistakes are you Last Mistakes of that Match. So Sorry. But DDs are Likely the ones Learning things the Hardest Way. Because they tend to go up in Smoke extremely Fast when they Fail. Only ones managing to get the Paddling Faster is usually Cruisers if they make the Fatal mistake of driving Full Broadside. And well Yes. Of course they will Complain. Dont get me Wrong. But I will still manage to Deal with a T10 Halland when I play my T8 Kaga. Thing is. That T10 Halland actually Pays with other Drawbacks for having that Insane AA. So when that Insane AA is not at least allowing you to have the Upper hand against a CV. Then what did they Sacrifice the other Abilities for ? DDs with Weak AA have more Powerful Torps or maybe more Powerful Guns etc etc to Justify them not having any Decent AA. To them being Weak against CV Attacks is part of the Disadvantages Advertised on their Ship and is the Price they have to Pay for having other Advantages. Asashio for example in exchange for not having any Notable AA. Has 20km Deep Water Torps and 5.4km Concealment. 2. Kaga is certainly Popular. But to begin with. For Kaga the Rocket Nerf was entirely Irrelevant anyways. Kagas Rockets have always been Horrible. So them being Nerfed is like holding Shooting a Watergun at someone in the Pool. Its just not really making a Difference. I still see enough other CVs tough. Especially US ones. Which is not Surprising because they can still very easily Kill DDs with HE Bombs. I do however see less CV Matches in General. And CV Numbers have Certainly Dropped. But Frankly. I tried the Change out. And its not that Difficult to Hit a DD with Rockets even now. Yes he has a Chance to Dodge now. But if your not a Complete Potato that cant Lead a Target by 4 Seconds. Then you will still Hit more often than not. (Exceptions being Tiny Tims which are not meant to be used against DDs in the First Place) So in my Opinion most of the Losses in CV Players is mostly because CV Players are Angry at being Nerfed at all rather than the Nerf having any actual Effect. 3. Thats fine. But how is that a Problem ? So you got Kited away and Lost because you could not Reach the Enemy. Why should a CV be a Magic Go Free Card against this kind of Situation. Also. If that Ship in the Island Surrounded Cap had been a Minotaur or other Cruiser etc. Would anything have Changed ? Your CV is actually already better in that Situation than any other Ship. Because any other Ship would not even have gotten 1 Attack out and would not even have been able to Reach and Spot that DD in that Position. This Expectation that the CV has to be Capable of Winning a Fight is exactly whats wrong with CV Players. No other Ship in this Game has a fair Chance at Victory in every Situation. Replace that DD in the Cap with a Minotaur or Worcester. And Replace the CV attacking it with a DD which due to the Cap being Surrounded by Islands has to rush into it to Attack the Cruiser. You think that DD would have Won against the Cruiser there ? You had a DD which is Specifically Designed to Counter CVs in a Cap Defending it in a Good Position against a CV. Of course the DD has the Advantage lol. If you transfer that Example under Equal Chances to other Classes. You would have a Radar Cruiser Specialized in Killing DDs Defending that Cap against a DD lol. Or a Brawler Battleship Specialized in Killing Cruisers defending it against a Cruiser etc etc. Why should CVs be Special here and just dont have Situations where they are put on a Severe Disadvantage against another Ship ? :) 4. Thats Factually Wrong. A. All Classes have Individual Ships that have more than 1 Focus. German BBs for example often come with Torps or Secondaries for Strong Brawling. As well as very Strong Armor. CVs by the way by Default come with a whole Crabton of Special Abilities. No other Ship comes even close to this. Cruisers are actually the Second most Gimmicky Class. Coming with the Widest Range of Special Abilities due to Hydro, Radar, Supercruisers, Cruisers with better Armor or long Range Torps etc etc etc. B. Actually. Vast Majority of DDs has only 1 or 2 Strong Suits. Japanese Torp DDs for example have Strong Torps and Good Concealment. But they are very Squishy in General and also have low DPS on their Guns. Their Gun DDs have Strong Guns and Decent Torps. But their Concealment is Horrendous. Swedish DDs have a Heal and Great AA. But aside from that they are Generally Mediocre. Only very few DDs have 3 Powerful Suits. And these usually come at some Quite Hefty Cost in other Aspects. 5. Your DD Winrate is Fairly said Inconsequential. Because not only are you a Single Case which is just not gonna Show a Relevant Picture. But first off all. Your Winrate is completely Irrelevant to this. Because the Enemy Team gets the same amount of DDs. So even if DD influence Increased it would not be relevant to DDs Winrate as both sides get those Influental DDs. As for Ignoring DDs and Attacking other Ships at the Start. I have been doing that for 2 Years. I only Attack DDs when they come Forward to an Exposed Position. Attacking DDs when they are only Short before their Cruisers and BBs is Inefficient and is usually not Advisable unless your in a US CV or something that can really Kill that DD Quickly. So far of course even this worked. Because CVs were so Overpowered that even under these Circumstances they could actually Kill that DD fairly Easily. But it was never the best Course of Action to begin with. And as for being mostly Ignored by the CV. Thats nothing new either. I mean dont get me Wrong. In the last 2 Years I in a DD had Trouble with CVs maybe like 2 or 3 times. Because 99% of CV Players are just too Potato anyways to be a Threat. And well. 99% of them from the Start always just Farmed Damage on BBs or something. So in that Regard absolutely nothing has really Changed. And I am not even a Good DD Player. 6. The Biggest Threat to a DD. Is to make a Single Mistake at the wrong Moment and getting Killed Instantly due to low HP. Or not even making a Mistake but simply the Enemy Potato CV Flying over you not even Attacking You while your 8km out from an Enemy Cruiser that has his Guns Pointed in your Direction. Or that Radarcruiser that just came this way unspotted and now appears 8km to your Side popping his Radar etc. DDs are Glass Cannons. Very Powerful. Very easy to Kill the moment they make a Mistake. Thats their whole Premise after all. 7. The Reason why Low Tiers have way more Cruisers. Is actually Simply because at Low Tier there is way more Cruisers. Most DD and BB Lines Actually Require you to Play Cruisers on Low Tiers to Unlock them Mate. Bat thats not really Relevant here is it ? Even in High Tiers. There is way more Cruisers than DDs. 550k vs 470k So Yeah. The Gap Closes a bit on Higher Tiers. But Fact Remains. Cruisers are more Played than DDs. So not sure where your going with that DDs being all Powerful thing. DDs are Clearly the Second most Influental Class after CVs. But in a Direct Fight they will lose against almost anything.
-
BBs are in a Fairly Solid Spot. They have Mediocre Influence and are about the Strongest in a Direct Battle. So they are not in a Position where anyone can really claim them to be Overpowered. But they are also not Weak by any Stretch of the Argument. And I talk about Class in General. Not about Single Ships like the Soviet Railgun Fortress etc.
-
1. Then you have still not Learned to Play apparently. 2. Which is the case for all Ships. The Higher the Tiers go. The more Difficult it becomes to Manage them and the more Skilled and Powerful your Competition becomes. However Your Ship also gets Considerably more Powerful. Thats why I will tell you the same as I tell anyone Struggling with any other Ship. If you have not yet Learned to Properly Play. Then go back a few Tiers and First Learn Playing down there before Trying to Play in the more Difficult Environment. 3. They wont. Just like they never Showed us Stats on how many times CVs just Eradicated all Enemy DDs or how many DD Players Left or Changed Class when they First made CVs so Ridiculously Overpowered. Unfortunately WG is not very Forthcoming with Showing actualy Data. You using Attack Planes more Rarely however is likely a Good thing in WGs Eyes. Because to them the Rocket Planes are Intended to be more of an Inbetween for the other two Squadrons. So WG actually wants you to use the other two Squadrons more often. Rockets being an Unavoidable DD Killer Weapon which Guaranteed Hits without any Skill Contribution. Was an Unwanted Side Effect which Players then Quickly learned to Abuse to Kill DDs Quickly and thus create a Massive Advantage for their Team. 4. Not Surprising. After all. Nothing has Really Changed. Most other Players have been Firing at enemy Ships with Delays of 5-10 Seconds for Years. So Leading a Target a few Seconds is nothing Special to them. You having such a Struggle to Lead a DD with a few Seconds is at best worth a Chuckle by most Players in this Game. And aside from that Requirement to now Lead the Attack a bit and thus the DD Player actually having a Chance to at least here and there Evade your Attacks. Nothing much has Changed. HE Bombs are exactly the same as before as well. So the only CVs which are actually really Nerfed is the CVs which have only AP Bombs. CVs Ability in Dominating a Match was Barely Scratched by this. Needless to say that most Players still demand Anti Air Cover as well. Most Players have no Idea how a CV Plays or whats useful from a CV. Not that you are in a Position to really Claim you knew tough.... 5. Not to Offend you Mate. But thats an L2P Issue then. Because there is Plenty of Planes Effective against DDs. The most Powerful even before the Rocket Changes being the US HE Divebombers. 6. Sorry. But you dont get to Decide our Position. Our "Spokesperson Status" comes from Expertise and the Fact that we can Prove this Expertise by Producing the Results to back this Fact. Its not Threatened by Potatoes not being able to Adapt to Simple Changes like Leading a Target by 4 Seconds. Frankly. I hope it Stays that Way lol. At least now some of the CVs are not all Powerful anymore. Now they just need to Find a Way to also Prevent HE Bombers from being highly Effective against DDs and we might actuually be looking at a Halfwat Balanced CV Class. 1. Potatoes are always Available for all Classes. Just like there is CV Players that cant even Lead a Ship by 4 Seconds. And thus wont even Hit a DD which just keeps going in a Straight Line. There of course is also always enough BB Players that will Drive in a Straight Line for Minutes or DD Players which wont turn off AA etc etc. Deal with it. You have it with ALL CLASSES. And Yes Potatoes in your own Team especially that Cruiser Captain that thinks its a Great Idea to Drive Flat Broadside to the Enemy Fleet and get Deleted in the First 2 Minutes of the Match. Are Annoying. But thats how it is for everyone. 2. Unsourced Claim with no Relevance. Being in the Top 20 of what. Especially for Self Proclaimed Top Players. What Stats does he actually have ? Weekly Stats ? Monthly Stats ? Lifetime Stats ? Which Week ? Which Month ? How many Players did actually Participate in that ? Last Week we had 87 Kaga Players. And not even 20 Kaga B Players. So for Kaga B the Top 10 Guy had 27% Winrate lol So this tells us nothing unfortunately. 3. Lol. Sorry. But thats an L2P Issue. Even if your CV is Really not Capable of Leading the DD by 4 Seconds. (Which is Sad enough) he could still Coordinate with your other Ships to Spot the DDs while they Push into them. And thus can get Easy Short Range Shots on the DDs or if the DDs Run away. Take the Caps from them. Needless to say. That before this. The Situation was Simply Reversed. The moment an Enemy had a CV Left in Endgame. DDs were entirely useless. Because there was no way for them to do anything about the CV just Razing them down with Unavoidable Attacks. 4. LOL. Sorry. But CV Players which got Unlimited Range. Dont need anyone to Spot for them. Can Carry out all their Attacks without their Ship being Spotted or even being in Range of the Enemy. Have Specialized Attack Methods against every other Class. Cannot Detonate. Are effectively Immune against Flooding and are Extremely Difficult to Damage with Fire. Have Automatic Anti Air Cover Permanently. And can reach any Enemy on the Map within about 2 Minutes even if its at the other end of the Map. Should Really not Talk about someone getting Sugar up their Rears. Because CVs Rears are so Friggin Full of Sugar. That you could Mine Supply the entire WoWs Community with Sugar for Years to Come and you would likely not even Notice a Reduction of the Reserves as the Sugar still keeps coming. I wont comment on the Bullcrab Claims your making on what DDs can Do. Because not to Offend you. Just like with most cases. The only Cruiser an Elbing can Destroy in 4 Salvos is the Potatoes which show Flat Broadside. So as before. If that is the Kind of Comparisson you make for DDs. Then you need to make the same Comparisson for CVs. Meaning a CV can easily Kill most DDs with a Single Squadron. Because the DD we are Talking about. Is that Shimakaze which has his AA on and makes no Effort to even try to Evade the CVs Attacks. Also. Mate not to Offend You. But http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20210724/eu_week/average_class_u.html Statistics for the last Week. 690k+280k Battles Played with BBs. (High and Low Tiers) 550k+340k Battles Played with Cruisers. 56k+58k Battles Played with CVs. 470k+210k Battles Played with DDs. So Sorry to Tell you. But there is still more Cruiser Players than DD Players. And BBs are stil the most Played Class as usual. Maybe dont make Obviously and Evidently False Statements Please. They wont. I am Impressed they even Nerfed the Rocket Planes. So far the Past has Shown that CVs are the Class which is Generally Played by those who dont want to Learn to Play the Game. And will Refuse any and all Effort but still want to be able to Kill others. As such every time even the slightest halfwat effective Nerf was made to CVs. The CV Playernumbers Dropped. Of Course every Buff to CVs Generally Results in a Loss of 3 times as many Players as it Gains CV Players. But as WG wants to have a certain number of CV Players. Its fairly unlikely that CVs will ever be Balanced Properly. As Balanced CVs tend to be rather Boring and will thus just not Achieve the Required Playernumbers for WG to be Happy with it. No. They are Generally not. Nothing New there Unfortunately. Most CV Players unfortunately are entirely Incapable of including the Situation. So they will Complain about DD Torpedoes doing 3 times as much Damage per Torp and throwing 10 at once. Generally Claiming that DDs can Just Sink a BB with a Single Torpedo Salvo. But will entirely Ignore the Fact. That this DD not only has to Risk his own Ship in Range of the Enemy to Throw his Torpedoes. But will Also Ignore the Fact that unlike himself in the CV. The DD cant usually Drop these Torps from less than 1km away where its almost Guaranteed that all Torps will Hit. Instead usually dropping them from 8-10km away where often you wont get a Single Torp Hit on a Full Torp Drop. Its your Side which is the ones which keep Bringing that Argument to be Honest. Its the CV Player which Constantly come up with the "CVs were the Kings of the Sea in Reality" Argument to try and Justify them being Overpowered. So Yeah. Maybe put the Finger on your Sides Nose First hmm. BBs are still the most Played Class in the Game. Followed by Cruisers. With DDs being the Least Player Class of the Surface Ships. Only Class Played less has always been CVs. By the way. DD Lobby Stronk ? DDs had been getting the Short End of the Stick for Years. And just like CVs Now. It was Deserved. I still Remember when DDs were actually OP. Being able to actually Stealth Fire their Guns and Burn down BBs with their Guns while Staying Invisible. lol Nowdays. With all the Radar Cruisers. Half the Enemy having Hydro and there being CVs which can Spot them constantly. DDs are Pretty Hard Pressed to be Honest. Needless to say. You guys keep Yapping about how DDs now Rule Supreme. But for your Info. Even before. CVs were not available in every Battle lol. And guess what. MOST PLAYERS EXPRESSED CLEARLY THAT THEY LIKED THE GAMES WITHOUT CVS MUCH MUCH MORE. So Apparently DDs are nowhere near the level of Problem that CVs are :) Not Irrelevant. But Absolutely and Utterly Inferior in a Fight. Given the BB would See them on 15km away and the only Weapon Really Capable of Damaging the BB being Torps. As well DDs not being able to Fire out of Smoke regardless of others Spotting etc. But if the Game was Historical Accurate it would be entirely Different on almost all Levels. Which is why Argumenting for CVs to be Buffed to be more Historical Accurate on their King of the Seas Role in WW2. Is Complete Rubbish. :)

On a Legal Level. They already did. Because they are already Excluding your Right of a Refund in the Purchase Contract by saying that your Refund is Forfeit the moment the Service is Completely Provided. Which According to WG. Is the moment that the Ship is Added to your Account. Meaning even now. The Refund they are giving by Offering to Rollback your Account to the Time before your Purchase. Is already Voluntary from their Side of View. And on a Legal level. It is actually very Likely. That if they Simply Refused a Refund Based on that Purchase Contract you Agreed to. And in which you Voluntarily Forfeit your Right on a Refund for getting the Service (the Ship) Immediately. You would be Unable to actually do anything about it. You can try to not Agree to Waive your own Right of Refund. But then they will Simply not give you the Ship for 30 Days. Thus waiting out the Refund Timer before you even get the Ship.
-
Well Mate. Its also Perfectly in WGs Rights to make the Refund come at the Cost of a Rollback of your Account. So WG is Simply Excercising their Rights here arent they. So if thats your Opinion I am not sure what this Topic is about. WG Simply Excercised their Rights.
-
Ok. So Basicly You ARE exactly that kind of Person which will Order Stuff. Use it for some Days and then ask for a Refund..... Indeed. There is no Agreement to be had there. Because Frankly. In my Eyes this kind of Behavior is the Actual Fraud. It is exactly this kind of Abuse of Good and Customerfriendly Systems. Which causes ever more Companies to instead use Systems that are not Customerfriendly but also cant be abused. Because People like you will abuse the Tolerance provided by such Systems for Personal Gain and thus force them to limit everything as far as possible and not have any Tolerance.
-
It's illuminating that when a Player does something scummy, there are numerous people who seek to blame WG for it....
-
Complain about there not being the Option to Test and I am all with You. But there is no Law that Dictates they need to offer Tryouts or Rentals. So if they dont Provide that Service it does not make you right in trying to Scam them. Its the Same Logic as People Pirating Games saying it doesnt offer a Demo so they had no Choice. Thats just not gonna Fly Mate. Except You did. Yes if you used Doubloons at least there is no Transaction Fees etc. But you are Still wasting Worktime of Employees. And Mate. There is Records of how many Times you used a Ship. That does not mean they keep Exact Records of how much each Individual Player Earned in Each Single Battle. Do you know how many Gigabytes of Text you would end up with. If you kept Exact Records of each Individual Player for every Single Battle ? There is a Reason why Exact Battle Results are no longer Viewable after you Closed the Client. When your Session Ends. Its Converted and added to your Total. So the Game knows you played x games with a Ship and did a total of x damage. So it can calculate how much damage you did in average. But ut cant tell you how much damage you did exactly in which battle Think of it like this. Someone Buys a Fridhe from You and Hires You to Install it. A week After you Install it. He calls and Refunds it. No Reason. Its not Broken. He just tought. I got 4 Weeks to Refund. This Fridge does not look too good. But I.ll just try it out and then Refund it cause they said I can Refund for 30 Days. You then Refund it. But you dont put the old fridge back etc. Then the Customer goes to your Support and Complains that your a Fraud. THAT CUSTOMER IS YOU.

The New cant hit Freindly target works perfect.
Sunleader replied to Wingoka's topic in General Discussion
Got no Issues. I am a very Aggressive BB Player and have yet to Suffer any Negative Consequences of having no Friendly Fire. I had quite alot of Positive Experiences tough. As my Allies Torped me and unlike other cases in the Past. It did not Cost me Half my HP or Forced me to take a Position where I Show Broadside to the Enemy.... -
1. Not to Offend you Mate. But thats Pretty Low of You to be Honest. The Refund System is there to give you Back your Money when You Bought Something that (at least in your Eyes) did not Fulfill the Promise Made about it or that you bought by Accident so that You do not Lose your Money over it. It is NOT a TryOut and See if you Like it System. Refunds Cost Money for the Company that Offers them. When You make the Transaction. Depending on the Method and Service you Use. A Fee is Deducted from that Money before its given to WG. The Money is then Added into their Bookkeeping and the Service is Registered with your Account. When You Demand a Refund. They need to Task one of their Employees which they are Paying for. With Correcting the Bookkeeping as well as making a Transaction Order back to your Account which depending on the Service you are Available on will Cost another Fee. Both Fees will not be Refunded to WG. Meaning when they Give you a Full Refund. They will Actually Pay the Work Cost as well as the Fees on this out of their own Pockets. So Abusing this System with the Statet Intention of Trying out a Ship is Pretty Low on your Part Mate. Because what your Doing. Is basicly the Same as the People which Order something on Amazon with the Upfront Intention of Using it for a Week and then Refund it. 2. And Exactly to Prevent the Above. WG will alongside of the Ship. Also Remove any Rewards you Earned by Playing that Ship. Meaning that they will not just Remove the Ship and Refund your Money or Doubloons. They will also Remove the Earnings from the Battles that you Made with that Ship. However. This is only Possible if they still have the Exact Record of what you Earned with that Ship. Which is mostly not the Case. So Instead they will Reset your Account to the State it was in before you Bought the Ship. This Ensures. That the System will not be Abused by People like You to Play Premium Ships for a Few Games and then just Refund them. For the Santa Crates and also during other cases. Wargaming Decided to Just Gift the Players the Inbetween Earnings and thus Shoulder all of the Damages themselves. Because they Admitted that the Fiasco was their Fault to Begin with. Therefore the Damage Should be Shouldered by them alone as far as Possible. But thats not the Case here. This Damage is your Fault. You Bought a Premium Ship and You yourself Admit you Basicly Expected to Return it from the Start. There is no Reason for WG to Shoulder Damages that You openly Admit to have caused on Purpose. Maybe next Time dont Try to Game the System. Because the only Fraud I see here. Is your Attempt of getting a Paid Service for Free. Greetz Sun

The Traditional Definition would be that you Turned a Lost Game into a Victory. Effectively. Your Team was Losing Badly and You manaed to Turn it around. The more common Definition. Is that you "Carried" an Unproportional Large amount of the Work done to Win. For example getting a Kraken and High Caliber Award is Generally Accepted as you having Carried. As you have Clearly Contributed Vast amounts of Damage and Kills to your Teams effort. Now. A 100% Accurate Definition likely wont Exist. Aside from "You are the one Responsible for Victory" which however is Hard to Define in itself. For example. I had Games where I got nearly 4 Million Potential Damage because I was effectively Holding Down an Entire Flank alone. Fighting 3-5 Enemies on my Own. I only got 2 of them Killed and only about 100k Damage. But I did manage to keep the Enemy from Pushing around our Flank. So the Remaining Team after way too long time Won out on the other Flank where they massively Outnumbered the Enemy and thus Finally got around. If I had not held out there. My Team would be extremely likely to have Lost because they would have been Flanked and Crossfired. So I could in Theory Claim I Carried there. But that would likely not really be seen as such. As the more Common Definition really is that you Scored a Large amount of Damage and Several Kills. Thus it being without Doubt that an Unproportional Big Part of the Enemy Casualties was down to You. Other more Specific Cases like my Example. Would likely required a Replay to be Watched for others to Define. As its not really Obvious and would likely not be Accepted as Carry by most.

Malt mich Überrascht an. Weil du sonst Zitadellen futterst sobald du etwas Breitseite zeigst. Hmm. Unerwarted. Und immerhin etwas besser als Erwarted. (Zumindest für T10. Der T9er is so grotzig wie Ich dachte) Aber wirklich überzeugen tut mich das nicht. Das Einzige wo das Schiff genial für is. Is Torpyolo. Alles andere is das Schiff meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich brauchbar für.

Could we maybe change the 1 Day of Premium Time Reward ?
Sunleader posted a topic in General Discussion
This is something that has been Nagging me a bit for a while now. Now this is not a Big Issue. But I still wanted to bring it up as it causes a bit of Annoyance among my Friends and Me. We very commonly get 1 Day of Premium time that is Instantly Activated upon Receiving it. Now. Nothing bad with that in General. Its just a Reward. But especially when Received as Part of an Inbetween Reward Package of a Grind or as Reward for a Mission etc. It often ends up feeling useless or annoying. The Reason is. That most People in my Direct surrounding. Tend to either be Casual Players which Play only now and then when they have Spare time. And others are very Active Players which have Premium Active Permanently anyways. Meaning for 1 Side. This Reward is often Given at the End of the Day when the Day is mostly done for them and then the Day of Premium just Uselessly Wastes away because they wont Play again before 2 Days later or the next Weekend etc. So to them that 1 Day of Premium is just not a Reward. Because its not really usable for them. Worse it feels like the Game is Trying them to Coerce into Playing when they dont really want to or dont have Time for it right now. For the other Side meanwhile. Its really an Unnoticable Reward. Because we run around with over 100 Days of Premium on the Pile. And we Generally will Spend Money now and then getting Premium Time thrown atop the Pile. We just dont Notice an Day thats thrown atop the Pile. If we didnt get the Day due to a Bug or something. We would not Notice because we didnt Check how many Days we had left beforehand anyways. So that Reward just goes pretty much under the Radar. So. One Simple Fix would be to instead give a 1 Day of Premium Token that could be used to get a Free Day of Premium at some Point in the Future. This would make the Reward much more Noticable. Because for the Casual Players only Playing every few Days. It would mean they actualy get to use the Day of Premium. For example by Earning it during the Week and then Using it on the Weekend when they actually have Time to Spend some Hours Playing. But also for those of us who are Active. Because we can Accumulate these Tokens and then at some Point may Notice that we got a Week or even a Month worth of Tokens gathered. Thus then maybe Switching one of our Purchases towards a Bigger Pack of Doubloons instead of the Doubloons+Premium Time Package we usually get. As we actually have something in our Hands its just alot more Noticable than throwing it onto the Pile and Forgetting about it :) Greetz Sun- 12 replies

Could we maybe change the 1 Day of Premium Time Reward ?
Sunleader replied to Sunleader's topic in General Discussion
That I disagree with. Of course my Personal Situation is bot representative. But I play when I want. So do my 3 Friends. Yet 3 out of 4 of us. Have 0 Qualms to Throw Money at Games. This is not Surprising cause all 3 of us have Good Jobs. The 4th Guy is currently Unemployed otherwise he would likely Spend Money too. But he cant Spend Money regardless of the Bait right now. So at least from my Experience. Spending Money is unrelated to this Bait. -
Could we maybe change the 1 Day of Premium Time Reward ?
Sunleader replied to Sunleader's topic in General Discussion
I doubt you Would. If they made it so that Premium Time is just Deducted from Actual Time Played. The Prices would also go through the Roof. Because WG would Charge you on an Hourly Rate. So you would end up with the Situation that other Games got. Basicly you would get get 2 Hours for the Price of what a Day Costs right now. When Buying a Month Package you would get it on a 1 Hour per Day Basis. Meaning the Month Worth Package would be something like 30 Hours of Premium Time. Maybe giving a Discount to Upgrade it to 50 Hours in Fat Golden Script so you know that the 20 Hours Extra are from a Discount. That might be Great for the Casual Players that Play an Hour here and 2 Hours there during the Week. Thus in the End likely having their 1 Month Premium Package Last 2 or even 3 Months. But for the Active Players which often Spend 2-3 Hours a Day in the Game and sometimes even Spend 6 Hours Playing with their Friends during the Day. Alone Clanbattle Sessions often last 2-3 Hours.... So these Players would then basicly need to Buy 2-3 Months Worth of Premiumtime or more. :) Was it Rappelz or Silkroad which did that ? Not sure anymore. But I have Played Games over the Years where this was Done. And usually for the 10 Euros which give you a Month in WoWs. You there got a Package of 16-20 Hours worth. Which during Holidays could be not even a Week for me xD Edit:::: Right now. You pay not even 9 Euro for 1 Month of Premium Time. That means if you Play 2 Hours per Day. You Pay only about 15 Cents for each Hour you Play. If you Play 60 Hours that Month. You end up having Played 9 Euros Worth of Hours. Now. Some Players will Play 90 Hours a Month. Meaning for them its 10 Cents. While others Play only 15 Hours a Month. Thus Paying 60 Cents per Hour they Play. And you can Take Bets. Wargaming would Set Prices so that they will make Money out of this. And you can See how Wargaming Rates the Approx Waste of Premium Time. a Month Costs 2500 Doubloons which is a bit more than 8 Euros. A Week which is not even 1/4 of that Time. Is Paid with 1250 Doubloons which is a bit over 4 Euros. A Day which is 1/7 of the Week is still Prices at 1/5 of a Week with 250 Doubloons which is about 80 Cents. So I would assume. Wargaming if it went for an Hourly Price. And WG wont make the same Discount for Bigger Packs because they know it wont Waste away. So a Guess at a Price would be that you would Pay 2-3 Euros for a 2 Hour Package. 5 Euros for a 8 Hour Package and the Current 8 Euros for a 16 Hour Package. Edit End::::: I have yet to Find a Single Successfull Company that is not Greedy. People should Remember that this is a Business not a Welfare Program. You are Sold Entertainment in Exchange for Money. And at Quite the Cheap Rate to be Honest. Try getting a Month Card for the Cinema which lets you Watch as many Movies as you would like for the Month for the Price you Pay to get 1 Month Premium in WoWs. In most Cinemas. You will Pay that Price for a Single Movie. Popcorn and Drinks not Included. F2P in that Sense does not actually Exist. Every Player Pays for the Entertainment. Those who do not Pay Money. Do Pay Time. They are effectively the Volunteer Staff which by the Requirement to Grind is kept in the Games to make sure there is always enough Opponents for the Paying Customers to Fight. This is something that Especially many Pay to Play Games that then Tried to be PvP Focused have entirely and utterly Fairled to Understand. Because they very Quickly Ran into the Problem. That when they have only Paying Customers to Fight each other. These Paying Customers will Quickly Run into a Lack of Opponents during less Active Hours. And as many of these Games did not Provide an Enticing Single Player Campaign and Activities for these Players to be Kept Busy. They Failed Hard at this and then usually went Free to Play or Shut Down Servers. As for the Idea of making Premium Time only Deducated when Logged in. Forget it. Because as I described above. You can Take Bets. It will be MUCH MORE Expensive that way. Because just like the Games I played in the Past. The Prices will be Dictacted by the Average Player. Meaning WG will do what any Company does in that Case. And will Calculate how much their Players Generally Play. And will then Set the Prices so that they get out of it more or less Equal to the current Income. Very likely. As its a Company. They will actually Calculate it so. That they are Coming out with even more Money than right now. As they will Calculate the Tolerance entirely on the Minimum Hours Side. Making sure that the Players which Play Less. Will basicly Pay the Same as now. While Players that Play more will Pay even more than right now. :) Thats Nice. But also Complicated. Dont you think it would be much more Comfortable. If you could Just Play as you want without Delaying the Reward on Purpose. As the Day Premium is Given to you as a Token to Use whenever you want without Trying to Artificially Finish a Mission for it on a Specific Day and during a Specific Time of that Day ? :) -
Uff... 1. No. I am not Mistaking anything at all. Your just either Failing to Understand what I said or you seem to not Understand that I am not Trying to go for a Realistic System but Simply a System that is Slightly more Realistic than the current one. I said that I want to Remove Autobounce and Overmatch. Meaning you Maintain the 0-45 Degrees no Ricochet and the 45-60 Degree Possible Ricochet. But you Remove the 60+ Guaranteed Ricochet. Because this Magic Threshold does not Exist. Shells do not Suddenly Stop Penetrating Armor at 60 Degrees unless their Caliber is X Times the Armor. 2. Erm No. Because Line of Sight Armor is not Effective Armor. LoS Armor on 6 Degrees is about 8.2 Times But Effective Armor depending on Shell Caliber can be somewhere between 10 and 20 Times. Now. A 128mm Shell hitting 32mm of Armor at 1 Degree. Would never Actually be Affected by Normalization. Because Normalization wont happen unless the Shells Tip manages to Bite into the Armor. Which will not happen at this Extreme Angle. But more Importandly. Even if we Include Normalization The Armor it would need to Penetrate would not be just 260mm but more akin to 350-500mm Which would mean the Destroyer would not be Likely to Penetrate it unless he Really Sit at Point Blank Range. 3. Thats because you are the one who Bought up Normalization. I would Ignore Normalization entirely. Because its way too Complicated and way to Depending on Specific Shells. You Talk about Cannons from the 16th Century. But Fun Fact for you. Many of the Ships especially on Middle and Lower Tiers. Did in Fact still use Solid Shot AP with not even a Ballistic Cap much less an Penetrator Cap that would allow the Shell to Gripe into Angled Armor better. But thats something I am not Planning to Include. Its a way too Complicated thing to be bought into this. Just like I am still just Choosing Twice the Line of Thickness Armor. NOT the Real Effective Armor you would get from actually Calculating it out on Realistic Measure. 4. And Nope. I can just Change this Mechanic. Hope is not Involved here. Thats what I said above already. Just because you go a bit more Realistic does not mean you Suddenly need to go Full Out Simulation on it. On A Scale where 0 is Arcade and 100 is Simulation. I want to move from the Current Position of 15 where this Arcade Game is. To the Position of 25 which is Still Firmy and Entirely Arcade. But just a Tiny bit Closer to Simulation than before. There is Nothing that would Force us to Suddenly Include Normalization, Caliber vs Thickness Effects etc etc.

1. No. Overmatch does not Exist. Because in Reality no matter how Big the Caliber and how Thin the Armor. You will not get an Automatic Penetration regardless of Angle. a 1mm Armor Plate Facing a 60cm Shell might pose so little Resistance that this Angle would need to eb 89.999 Degrees or Something. But even that would still not be an Guaranteed Penetration. In Fact there is an Calculation that can tell you how much the Shell Diameter in Relation to the Armor Thickness will Increase your Penetration against it. But that is a very complicated Calculation and thus is not really a good Choice for the Game. Hence the Simplified Method which is "Closer" to Reality than the Rubbish we got now. But is still extremely Arcade and not something you would call Realistic in itself. 2. Yes if you wanted to go Fully Realism you would also need Armor Damages etc. But as I said. Going a bit more Realistic and going Realistic is not the same. One means that you go Slightly more in the Direction of something. The other means you are going so far that you are at the Position. I would like to go Slightly more in the Realism Direction. I would not want to go Realistic with this Game. 3. There is no Gradient to Overmatch and Ricochet. Stop thinking in terms of Automatic Thresholds. There is no Such Magic Threshold and there should not be one. There is a Simple Calculation of Penetration which Depends on Penetration Power and Armor Thickness and Calculates wether or not the Shell goes through. The only Random thing is the Same old Ricochet Chance from before. Everything else in my System is an Calculated Effect that will get an Predictable Result

Die Rückkehr der Missouri ! - ein no go?
Sunleader replied to McMurxi's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Ah. Also warst du der Grund das meine Antwort Ausgebuggt is und Ich stattdessen ne Seite nicht Gefunden Medlung gekriegt hab.
