LittleWhiteMouse leaves the CC program
Sunleader replied to Miscommunication_dept's topic in General Discussion
Little White Mouse was a CC among CCs basicly. Alot of CCs used LWMs extensive and detailed reviews and testing as a basis for their own streams and video reviews. Its quite impressive that you dont know the name given how many of the Twitch and Youtube CCs including well known ones like Jingles or Flamuu referenced LWM several times in the past. As for your Independence on what you like. That is fine. But throwing out diffamations and blame on the issue when you got literally no clue what your talking about us quite rich. Maybe first actually check what happened before taking sides.- 775 replies

Aye. On T8 and below where Cruisers dont have a Heal. Any Damage is Devastating. And T8 CVs like Shokaku, Lexington, Saipan, Enterprise. Can Deal over 10k in a Single Drop very very easily unless the Cruiser takes full Evasive Maneuvers which will make him an Easy Target for BBs. And it doesnt matter at all if these 12k are from Torps, HE Bombs or Tiny Tims. Because he cant Repair it. So its Permanent. Perma Fire ? Well say Goodbye to another few thousand HP. When Playing Kaga. I will often Croosdrop Cruisers with Torps at the Start. Usually Scoring somewhere between 10k and 20k Damage to the First Enemy Cruiser I find. When you got 42k HP like a Baltimore then this Match is effectively Done for you. If he still tries to go forward for a Cap to Radar or something. I will follow up with some HE Bombers easily taking another 10k of him. At this Point he will usually Die. Heck doing that to a Des Moines more often than not will be the End for it because he will take at least some Damage from my Team in these 2 times where he is Spotted. If not. His Role in the Match however is over Regardless because at this Point he took so much damage that he is an easily Kill for anyone else on my Team and cant really afford to Fight anymore. A Cruiser that tries to go forward into a Good Position is Generally extremely Vulnearble to a CV. The only Exception to that is usually Minotaur and Neptune. Because they have Great Concealment, Great AA and (and this is the Importand part which makes the difference) an Extreme Heal which just Prints back like two thirds of their Ship. Thus even if they lost like 80% of their HP in these 2 Runs they will be back to 80% a few seconds later. Thanks to which they can actually force such a move through. But even for them its dangerous. Cause even they can still get blapped by a BB.
-
Mate come on. Seriously. If your in a CV and your not a Problem for a Cruiser. Then you are doing something wrong. For Cruisers on T8 and lower. A CV is a Nightmare. Yes they can Hurt CVs due to the Strong AA. But the vast Majority cannot Heal. And many of the Weapons of a CV can easily take a Quarter of their HP in a Single Attack if they cant evade it. And they very often cannot Evade it because Evading it would mean showing Broadside to Enemy BB in an exposed position while Spotted. I actually often do this on Purpose at the Start of the Match. I drop an Enemy Cruiser with Torps. And I will generally Crossdrop him. Which means not only wont he be able to evade entirely. But he will also be Forced to Show Broadside to my Team. This for an Enemy Cruiser is an absolute Horror. Because to an Enemy Cruiser which at T8 has like 40-45k HP and I will easily do 10k and more with the Torps. Worse. It will be 20k unless he Shows Broadside to my Team and thereby Risks being Instant Blapped. This is Generally very Effective. Because not only will such a Cruiser be Damaged Heavily and thus rarely do anything useful anymore this Battle as he has no Choice to Fall back so he doesnt get Focused down extremely Quickly. But he also will Fail to take a Forward Position where he is actually useful to his Team.

So why is WG so obstinate in refusing to grant player requests?
Sunleader replied to Camperdown's topic in General Discussion
The Answer is Statistics and Bottom Line my Friend. Statistically. What they are doing right now is the Right thing. Because it earns them Money. In Fact they Earn more than they did when they were more Reliable and more Generous to the Community. And this Bottom Line Argument is Undeniable for most. There is 2 Arguments against it. A. Morality. Which WG has pretty much Dropped entirely by now. I mean seriously. By now they are Regularily Caught Operating in Grey Zones of the Law or even outright breaking it if they are Confident that them being in another Country will prevent enforcement against them. And they not only offer Gambling to Children but they are on purpose using well known habit and addiction forming methods and systems for it. Frankly. At this point anyone here should be aware that we are in a Casino. And Children should actually not be Allowed to Play this Game. B. The Longterm Effects. But these are always hard to Calculate and thus dont offer much of an Argument. Because you cannot back it up that this will lead to them losing Money in the Future. Some People claim that especially this Point is Evidence that WoWs will Die in a few Years and WG is simply trying to Milk as much as possible before that happens. But thats frankly unrealistic. The Simple truth is. That the Longterm effects will often take several Years before they actually start Crashing the Bottom line. EA and CA are good Examples. Just consider how long they could run Foul Business before it actually came back to Bite them. And not a few Game Devs will assume that they can just Milk as much Money right now and then just need to Jump Trains again before it Crashes. Meaning that WG likely assumes that they can just become more Nice and Reliable again when the Cracks start to Show. And then keep the Money they made till then. Wether that works or not of course is a Gamble. But when your running a Casino you likely dont mind Gambling yourself. -
Wrong. You are Mistaking Uncertain for Unknown. Knowing all Possible Outcomes does not make the Outcome Certain. Likewise. Having an Uncertain Outcome does not mean you cant know all Outcomes. Lets assume we get 45 Packages. In that Case we have 45 Outcomes. Because you can get Missouri on any of the Packages. Meaning your Outcomes are to get Missouri on Package 1 to 45. However. That does not change that the Outcome is Uncertain. You cannot know on which Package you will get Missouri. As such it is Uncertain on wether you will get Missouri on Package Number 5, Number 15 or Number 45. So the Outcome is Uncertain. Your only Way to Guarantee a Win is by Simply Buying all Packages and thus Spend far more Value than you can Win. By your Definition. Betting on Horse Races would not be Gambling. Because Nobody Stops you from Simply Betting Money on each Single Horse thus Guaranteeing a Win. And you know all Horses Participating so you know all Potential Results. But just like with Missouri in our Case. The only way you can Guarantee to get the Prize is by Spending far more Value than you can Win. So let me ask You. Do You claim that Betting on Horse Races is not Gambling ?
-
Sorry. But thats not the Case here. The Question of this being Gambling or not. Is an Objective Fact. And that Fact is. That this is Gambling. Opinions are not Relevant to this. Of course you can still have the Opinion that its not Gambling. Just like Flat Earthers can have the Opinion that Earth is not a Planet. But that wont change the Fact that this is Gambling and Earth is a Planet.
-
1. Irrelevant. Because we already both established the Fact that you can get Missouri if you just have Unlimited Attempts. The Reason I point out Unlimited Attempts. Is because it depends on the Type of Gambling. If you got only 100 Tickets out of which 1 is a Winner then you in Theory only need 100 Attempts. For a Chance Based Gambling like Roulette you would need to place bets on each result at once and on Chance Based Lotteries were losing Tickets are returned to the Pool and you can only take a certain Number at once you would need to Calculate out the Number of Attempts until you are Statistically Guaranteed to Win. But I am not gonna List every single Gambling I know and list the Numbers. Hence Unlimited. 2. Thats Flat out Wrong. Because if you Play a Lottery where you need a Number or where a Random Number is Drawn. You can Win it by Simply having a Ticket for each Number that is in the Pool. If its Chance based and the Tickets return then as stated above you need to run so many attempts that statistically your guaranteed to get it. And Yes. Of course if you do that you will Exceed the Jackpot. And the Jackpot in our case is Missouri. The Gamble you take in this Lottery. Is wether or not you will get Missouri for more or for less than its actually Worth. 3. Thats also Factually Wrong. Albeit I am not Surprised you would argue along this kind of Bullcrab. After all thats 1of the 2 Top Arguments of People trying to Sell Lootboxes to Kids and make them Gamble. They Claim "oh but its not Gambling. They are just Buying the Boxes for Guaranteed Reward of the Box" which is of course Bullcrab. Nobody Buys that Bundle for the 5 Consumable Camos. People Buy it for the Chance of getting Missouri. The other Argument is Generally that its all Digital and thus the Value is 0 by default. So there is no Prize or Gambling. People are just Buying the Lootbox for Fun. Which of course is also Rubbish because Digital Goods are Goods because they have a Value. Missouri is a T9 Premium BB. As such its Base Value is about 65 Euros. Because thats what T9 BBs usually are Offered for. As its a Rare T9 Premium BB the Value can be Increased to lets say 90 or even 100 Euros. I will allow myself the guess that we will either get about 60 Bundles for 1k Doubloons each. Thus about 200 Euros worth. Or about 40 Bundles for 2k Doubloons each. So about 260 Euros. Which means. You are Gambling on wether you get the Missouri for less or for more of what its actually worth. Worse. This comes with another Typical Trap used in Gambling. The Sunk Cost Fallacy. Because if someone Spend the 60 Euros and Failed to get Missouri. He will have lost 60 Euros without having received anything he wanted. And hey. Now there is only 150-200 Euros of packages left. So he will be more likely to now also Spend the remaining Value as he would feel that he Wasted 60 Euros otherwise. Of course in the end he will have Wasted over 100 Euros cause he got that thing worth 60 Euros while paying over 200 for it. This kind of Addictive and Misleading Psychological Factor is exactly why Gambling is Generally Prohibited to be Offered for Minors. 4. Wrong. No matter which type of Lottery. If you have enough Attempts you are Always Guaranteed to Win. The Number of Attempts you need can get Pretty big if its a Chance Based Game with an Exceedingly Low Chance and where on top the Lottery Ticket goes back to the Pool. But assuming Unlimited Attempts you are Guaranteed to Win at some Point. 5. Wrong. As Explained above. You dont want a Single Bundle. What People Want is Missouri. And so they Gamble on wether they can get Missouri within the Range of Money they are Ready to Spend and which it is worth. See Mate. When you are the Type to Gamble on Horse Races. You can actually just Bet on each Horse and you will be Guaranteed to Win. Yet its still Gambling. Because Guaranteeing to Win Costs you more than your Prize is Worth. Thats the whole Premise after Gambling. You Gamble on the Chance that you will get a Prize that is worth more than you Spend. Gambling works by a Simple Premise. You Offer a Prize that is Worth a Certain Value. You then Offer Tickets for this Prize at a Fraction of that Value. And each Ticket has a Chance to Win that Prize. However. You Produce so many Tickets. That Statistically the Number of Tickets Sold will by a Good Margin Exceed the Value of the Prize. Thats the Base Principle behind Gambling. Now lets look at this. We have a Prize. Its Missouri. We get an as of yet unknown Number of Tickets. Which we assume will each have a Chance to get Missouri and will each Cost a Fraction of what Missouri would Cost. However. We will get far more Tickets than the Value of Missouri would actually be worth. And the Chances will likely be Weighted so that the vast Majority of People will get Missouri only after Spending way more Money than Missouri is actually worth. Pls Explain to me. How this is not Gambling lol This is the Basic Definition of Gambling Mate. Just telling ya. But if you did exactly this Lottery in a Shop actually inside one of the EU Countries. And you offered Tickets to Minors. Every Single Country where Gambling is Prohibited for Minors. Would drag you to Court. 6. Oh dont worry. I wont. Frankly. By now I am close to just Boycotting any Gambling Offered by WG.
-
Then Gambling does not Exist because if you have unlimited tries you are always guaranteed to Win. If you just Buy all Lottery Tickets you are Guaranteed to Win the Jackpot. Of course you Pay more than its worth. But you are Guaranteed to Win. Its the same here. You Gamble to get Missouri. But you may not get it unless you buy all the packages at which point you likely spend 3-4 times more than its worth.
-
Thats called Gambling.
-
Thats unfortunate. I planned to buy it. But I am not interested in Gambling.

So. Thanks to WGs "Translation Error" this whole thing has Unfortunately gone Completely into Chaos and has turned into the usual Dumpster Fire which just Oversahdows everything else. Including Me actually being somewhat unsure about this Event. So basicly. We get 300 Summer Tokens from Missions. Thats about the First Package of the Entire Line. So the Packages Cost. 300 450 1050 1650 3000 2800 2600 900 So for the Whole Event to Complete you would need to get 12750 Summer Tokens. Now. I noticed that Buying Doubloons basicly Allows you to get Summer Tokens. Now. You get 1 Summer Token for 10 Doubloons bought. The 5000 Doubloon Package therefore gets 500 Summer Tokens. This Costs 16.20 Euros. So thats about 3 Cents for a Token. You get 300 Tokens from Missions. So you need to Buy 12450 Tokens by Buying Doubloons. That would mean you need to Buy 124.500 Doubloons. Which basicly means that Finishing this Event Requires a bit over 400 Euros. So. Someone Pls Explain to me. Is this Event basicly just a Whale Event where basicly the Whales are Rewarded for Throwing Money at the Screen and get some Additional Reward for it ? Or am I missing some not yet Active Event where we will be Allowed to Earn like 5000 or so Tokens to at least get up to Point X in the Event Chain ??? Not entirely Sure what to make of this.

Warum sammelst du nutzlose Pixel in deinem Hafen ? :) Die Antwort ist recht einfach. Unterhaltung, Entspannung, Freude.

Some Help Understanding the Summer Event.
Sunleader replied to Sunleader's topic in General Discussion
Thats what I am asking too. Right now. We only got 1 Mission Chain for 300 Tokens. It lasts the Whole Event and no other Missions have been Announced. So I wonder if there is anything else to it. -
Thats the same as the People Crying about Strong AA or Nerfs on CVs tough. They got no idea what a CV can do and not do. Thus they let their Squadrons die in ignorance. And afterwards come here and post rants on how their Squadron got Instant Deleted by AA or how its Impossible to hit that Halland etc. Thing is. The Reason why Potato CVs are more rarely on Top Score than other Ships Played by Potatoes. Is because there is 10 times as many of them as there is CVs. Meaning there is a 10 Times higher Chance to be a non Potato among them. Needless to say its also related to the Fact that CVs gain less Base Exp for most Actions than other Ships. Thus requiring a higher Performance to reach the same Base Exp Score. This is a leftover of when WG still Refused to Balance CVs Performance. And thus to stop the CV constantly being at the Top of the Scoreboard. Simply Reduced their Exp Income instead of Nerfing their Performance. So that despite getting large amount of Spotting Damage, Direct Damage and Kills. They would still not constantly be at the Top of Scoreboard. Now that they have actually started Buffing AA Performance and Nerfing CV Performance. This of course comes back to Bite the CVs. Because now their Performance gets closer to that of other Ships. And as they got less Exp for it. They struggle to Rank high in the Scoreboard. Its not about luck. Its about Learning to Play. Luck is something that Affects even the Best Players. RNGesus can **** anyone over. You can be the Best Unicum CV in the Game. And Yet you can have a Terrible Streak of 3 Drops where RNGesus just Says Nope. And makes you miss all Bombs or have you hit Shimas Torpslaunchers and do 0 Damage to the Ship. ^^ Thats Luck. But the Problem with Potato CVs is not Luck. Its that they make the wrong Decisions or dont make Decisions at all. And due to that will most of the time just not get the Chances to actually have luck or not.

Poll: what is your level of trust in WG as a company?
Sunleader replied to Camperdown's topic in General Discussion
Voted with 6. WG is a Big Company. And I trust them to behave like a Big Company. That Includes Epic Fails on a Regular Basis caused by different Sections having no Idea whatsoever what the other Sections are doing and Bosses being absolutely Convinced that they are the Best Specialists for every Single Job there is and due to that on Regular Basis Overruling Decisions from the Actual Specialists Working for them with Idiotic Ideas which will go Horribly wrong because in Reality these Bosses of course dont have the Slightest Idea about the Stuff their Specialists actually do. -
Sorry. In diesem Fall.

Think there would be Ways of Improving the Overal Potato in this Game ?
Sunleader posted a topic in General Discussion
All Day Now. My Teams basicly had the Level of "Do we Fit behind this Island with 9 People" or "How fast can I as the only DD on my Flank move towards the Opposite Flank to have a Second DD as my Buddy" The Best Team so far was on Two Brothers where my Team for some Reason Decided. Yeah lets all go to the Middle. And I mean that. They went TO the Middle. They did not go through the Middle. They just all went to the Middle and then clumped up on our Side of the Channel. And well. We can do think all Day about how some Players will likely never achieve a level of Skill where they can tell a Battle Situation and React Accordingly. This kind of thing demands that you Pay Attention and think about how the Game works and what Consequences a certain Position has. And as its not something that is the same it also is not exactly something the Game can help with. Because its different all the time and Impossible to Predict. But something else that often happens. Is actually something that you could actually Improve using an Automatic System because its the same each Battle. And that is the Question "Where do I go at the Start of the Game" You See. When I was much newer to this Game. I always wondered this. "Where do I go after Spawning??" Many of my Friends which dont Play this Game as much also tend to Ask me this each Battle. And for most Ships this is actually something that can be Answered fairly easily when you know the Ship Class and the Map. For example. On 2 Brothers when you have 2 DDs. Each DD should ALWAYS go for Capture Point he is Closer to. BBs for most Part should stay within an Area around their Spawnpoint for at least the first 5 Minutes of a Game. Cruisers almost always are Expected to take a Position Establishing the Frontline to the Enemy and prevent their Advance on the DDs. So giving them an on Screen Area Layout where they should Move at Start of the Battle might actually Help Tremendously in at least Preventing the Worst Roflstomps that often Result from a Team Positioning itself entirely Wrong in the Start and then end up with a Side having no DDs and Cruisers and thus BBs becoming Fodder. Or a Side having no BBs at all and thus not being able to Push even tough the Enemy is not Strong on that Side etc. That Screen Layout would basicly Overlay an Target Area for the Ship to Move towards. And would then Disappear after 1-2 Minutes into the Game. Of course this could be Disabled in the Options for Players who dont want it or think they are good enough to not need it. And thats just One Help. Other things to Help New Players should also be considered. First of all. The First few Games in each Bracket where the Rules Change for example. Could have a Mini Tutorial telling the Player some Useful Information. This would go a Great way in Helping Players understanding the Game. In Low tiers these Tutorials would mostly tell the Player to Watch out for Torpedoes and Explain them that Different Ships have different Concealments. For example. Telling a BB Player that DDs are very Stealthy and might not be Seen until they are very Close. This can be done on a First Encounter Basis. For example. The First Time the Player Encounters a Dedicated Gun DD. The Game could give a Small Warning. "Gun DDs are Destroyers which can unleash alot of Fire at you especially if they get close enough to Smoke and then Fire at you for up to 2 Minutes from the safety of their Smoke Screen" Or when the Player First Encounters a Radar Cruiser while in a DD. It could Display a small Info Panel telling the Player "Some Cruisers are Equipped with Radar. Radar can Spot you from 9-12km away regardless of Smoke or Cover and might keep you Spotted for up to 40 Seconds" When we got Sector Reinforcement. The Game actually such Messsages telling Players to for example Press Sector Reinforcement on Enemy Aircraft :) So this kind of thing would be easy to do and possibly help alot of Players a bit. Then there might also be some useful general Info Aids in the Game itself. For example. We already have Deep Water Torpedoes not show Targeting Aid for Ships that they cant hit anyways. Thus effectively telling People "hey this is not something you can hit" So how about Expanding this a bit ? For example the Crosshair could show Red Color when Firing at a Ship where 90% of the Area Facing you cannot be Penetrated using AP if you Currently got it Loaded highlighting the HE Shell Button. Or likewise if an Enemy Ship is Showing you a Flat Broadside where 70% or more of its Surface facing you would be Penetrated highlighting the AP Shell to show you this might be a good time to Load AP. One Extremely Helpful thing would be to remind Players if their Torpedoes are in Range of a Target they Choose. Now. I do know that many here think to themselves. "Oh my God. What noob needs that?" or "They should just L2P properly and if they dont they deserve to Die" But you need to remember. Many Players are Casuals playing this Game maybe Twice a Week. They will never bother Learning beyond Point X. And while they might deserve what they get. They drag others down as well. So ? You guys Think this kind of thing could Improve the General Behavior of Players ? You maybe got more Ideas for Helpful little things that could help Players to make the Right Decisions without taking away the Gameplay itself from them ? -
Sigh. And there you go again. Posting the same stuff that has already been answered several times. 1. HE Bombers have always been effective against DDs. That has not Changed. Especially US HE DBs are very Effective. Torpedoes are generally useful against Potato DDs. 2. Perfectly Aimed Rockets can do 3-6k Damage. Thing is. Rockets are almost never Perfectly Aimed. Moreover. There is Large Differences between different Rockets. Tiny Tims for example are Awesome for Cruisers. Often being able of Scoring 10k Hits. But are Terrible for DDs cause you will often just miss entirely. Japanese Rockets are actually fairly easy to Hit DDs with. But wont do much Damage. US and British Rockets are generally better here. As while harder to hit. Will usually do decent Damage if you catched the DD. 3. Frankly. I have been using HE Bombs against DDs for Years. If you just found out about that. Good for You. But me using Rockets as a Reserve in between or to Attack Cruisers and other Soft Targets has not changed. Still. Thats no reason to remove Rockets. 4. Last week we had. 840 Roosevelt Battles. 1962 Immelman Battles. 2557 Midway Battles. 999 Hakuryu Battles. 434 Audacius Battles. 521 Manfred Battles. So that Observation is Correct. Indeed in T10 CVs there have been alot of Immelmans. Midway is still the Top Spot. And I dont know where you see that many Roosevelts. But Immelman has indeed gotten a Significant Popularity Increase. :) http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20210731/eu_week/average_ship.html 5. Thats Rubbish. No Offense Intended. But DDs are still the ones I generally see Die First. And a DD being the Last Alive on both Teams is Incredible Rare. What does happen often is that 1 Team has a DD alive among its Survivors. You can also see that from the Fact that DDs are still as before. The Class with the lowest Survival Rate. http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20210731/eu_week/average_class.html Funny enough. Their Survival Rate has not even Increased with the Rocket Change. 6. As Showed above. That Claim is Rubbish. Immelman and Roosevelts make up about 38% of the CVs right now. 27% Immelmans and 11% Roosevelts. Midway alone comes to 35% and with the 5% of Audacious they actually come to 40% Haku actually is better than Roosevelt as it comes to about 12% :) 7. I already told you the Answer to that last time you made that rubbish claim. CVs have ALWAYS Ignored DDs and just Farmed Damage. Thats just how Potato CVs have Played for the last 3 Years. Nothing Changed on that. DDs are still a high Value Target. Just as before. And just as before a CV can make their Life Hell and get them Killed. Just that now. Not every Potato CV can easily Guarantee Hits on them. And that a CV actually needs to be Capable of a Skill that every Cruiser Player has. Which is to Lead a Target by 4 Seconds. 8. Last time I remember someone doing that to me in Chat. It was a Tirpitz. After I took about a Third of his HP with my First Squadron he actually changed his Mind and Asked me to Stop. I Obliged. After Bashing his Team. He seemed to be Frustrated and asked in Public Chat to be Killed. I Attacked him taking another Third of his HP. He quickly reconsidered and asked me Stop again. Upon which I was Confused and Asked him to pls Decide on one thing. He said he wanted someone else to kill him.... Which made me a bit Sad. But oh well. Enough other Targets. DDs usually wont Talk to me at all. Aside from throwing Insults around when I dropped them for Half their HP. Still. This is also something that has not Changed in the last 3 Years. So if DDs are getting Uppity on You. Maybe you should consider improving yourself.

Why do CVs get Attacks Squadrons that allow them to Attack everything with a Suitable Weapon ? Why can CVs not be Detonated ? Why do CVs get Perma Fighter Cover from themselves ? Why do CVs not Burn and Flood Properly ? Why does CV get a 1 Minute Lasting Damage Control ? Why can CVs just Build New Aircraft Mid Match ? Why do CVs get a Skill which gives them Manual Secondaries and Secondary Range in one Skill and without even the Drawbacks of that Skill ? Why can CVs just Spot their own Targets and Attack them on Unlimited Range ? Why are CVs Allowed to have Damage and Kill Numbers of BBs while having Utility of Cruisers and Spotting of DDs all at once ? Not to Offend you Mate. But you are in no Position to Complain. And the Reason why Many Players will Focus on the Risks of DDs is really Simple. What is the Class you most often See all being Dead right at the Start of the Match ? What is the Class that effectively Starts the Match with a Deathmatch Brawl over a Capture Point ? Most Players from Experience know. That DDs Die extremely Quickly. Everyone knows that. Because everyone who Tried a DD once had it happen that he got Spotted for but a few Seconds either from Radar or an Enemy DD or just an Overflying Squadron from a CV. And then lost Half his HP to some Stray Shells from a Salvo from an Enemy BB or Cruiser. Everyone now and then has that Experience that he Fired a Random Salvo on a DD that got Spotted. Got maybe 5k Damage which he tought is a Bad Hit of just 3-4 Overpens and then noticed in surprise how the DDs Health Bar just Drops by about 1/3 because of how little HP that DD has. Everyone Sees each Round how either his DD takes the Cap and often will kill the Enemy DD for it. Or how their DD is Killed by the Enemy DD and the Enemy takes the Cap. Its Frankly Impossible to Play this Game without Noticing just how easy it is for DDs to be Killed from even Small Mistakes. I would Support getting a more Graphical Indicator of how long until the Rockets are Actually Fired. But I dont see them making Rocket Fire Time affected by Boosting or Slowing down. Most CV Players already Refuse to Learn Leading a Target by the Set Timer. Expecting them to Learn a Variable Timer on this is never gonna happen.
-
1. Neither is it a Fatal Error to be Spotted by an Enemy DD in between the Two Fleets :) But it can Cost a DDs Life nonetheless. 2. Yes. So pls Stop Claiming that its DDs which are Pampered or treated with soft Gloves :) Because they are the Class which Tends to Die First in almost every Battle :) 3. Any CV Topic will always be about CV Balancing. This is Impossible to Prevent because its such a Big Issue that any mention of CVs in any Way will always lead to that. Needless to Say. This Nerf to CVs was done Explicitly because CVs are too OP against DDs. And well Mate. Nobody Forces you to Attack in the First Minute with your CV. Just like Nobody Forces a DD to Advance towards the Enemy in the First Minute. But thing is. If you want to be useful as a CV you need to keep Attacking right away. And if you want to be useful as a DD you need to Stay close to the Enemy. See Mate. Its something I never Understand. One of the First things CV Players always tell DDs that Complain about CVs Spotting and Killing them without much they can do about it. Is that they should Stay in Cover of their Cruisers and BBs AA so the CV cant Target them easily. Thing is. And for some Reason they are Dead Serious. They dont even seem to Realize That this is like telling a CV that Complains about AA. That he should just Stay out of AAs Range so AA cant kill their Planes. And Yeah. Sure This Works I guess. Just that then you will be useless and irrelevant. So it doesnt really make for good Advice :)

Frankly. I am not even sure how some People even try to Deny this. WG has been doing that for Years and has never really made a Secret out of it either.

All of which is Irrelevant. Because the Acclaimed Fact remains. That WG will Willingly Ignore Performance Data and instead give out Buffs and Nerfs Purely by how Popular something is. And this is not a Case Limited to Unique Upgrades. This has happened for Ships Repeatedly as well. The Reason why German Battleships went for Years without Buffs even tough their Performance was Horrendously Bad. Was because they were still Popular. And especially on this Topic. CVs are one of the Prime Examples. As Several Times they were Buffed despite their Performance being Head and Shoulders above most Ships already. Simply because they were not Popular enough. Of course being Popular can be an Indication of something being OP. But a Single Indication is not Evidence nor even remotely reliable. Considering that being Popular can come from Plenty different Reasons. In case of German BBs for example. Being Popular came mostly from the Legendary German Bismarck and Tirpitz in WW2.

UU means the Unique Upgrade. The Special Upgrade Module available to some T10s WG Rebalanced them based on 2 Factors. 1. How much Percent of Ship Owners used to the UU. 2. How much better the Winrate became when the UU was used. Thanks to which a few Ships actually had a Case. Where the UU effectively did not Improve the Winrate at all. But the UU was Nerfed Purely because an Unproportional Large Percentage of Players used the UU. While a few other Ships. Actually had their UU Buffed despite that UU already Providing a higher Winrate than Ships without that UU. Not because that UU was weak. But simply because that UU was not very Popular among the Players. Unfortunately. WG after that did not Release how much Change this made. Because Frankly. I would take bets. Thats some of these Nerfed UUs are now in Fact Dropping the Winrate of their Ships.
