  1. You Answered. But the Statement remains. You either offer a Refund or you dont. If you dont offer a Refund cause I got other Camos. How would that be seen ? :) I would be Punished for being active Player that earned a Camo later ? Thats a Horrible Criteria lol And worse. The Problem remains. Either you offer a Refund or you dont. What Criteria you use for the Decision wont change that. It just opens you up to even more complaints because it means one is offered a refund while another is not. Which means People will ask why their Purchase is not Refundable but others are.
  2. From what was said. The Ships that currently have Permacamos. Will get the Respective Bonus Packages Equipped by Default. So if you got a Permacamo for Hindenburg. You will get a Permanent Camo for Hindenburg without any Bonusses. That is purely Optical. As well as getting the Respective Permanent Bonus Package for the Ship. Because in that case you would need to also Compensate WG for the time you already used it. The New System is just a Transfer in terms of Permacamos. Basicly your Permacamo is Split into two Seperate Items. The Bonus Package and the Camo. Both of which you keep. But if WG allowed you to Refund it. You could easily Refund the Permacamos for Ships you no longer use while keeping the Benefit you had from them in the Past. You could also Refund Additional Camos you got for Ships which you dont intend to use anymore now that the Bonus Package can be used Seperately from the Camo. So Refunding you would be a complete loss for WG. As they would effectively have Gifted you a Ton of Gold for Services they already Provided in the Past and Redundant Services you earned over time in Events etc. Thats neither Fair nor Reasonable. You got no Case for any loss either. Because you are not losing any Bonus or Camouflage you have Paid for. They are only Displayed Differently than before. In Fact. Now that the Permacamo can be Stacked with the Full Range of Expendable Bonusses. The Value of your Permacamo is actually being Increased. Because unlike before. You wont need to Dismount it if you want to Mount the Bonus from an more Powerful Expendable Camouflage. You have neither a Legal nor a Moral Argument here. Thats fairly Unreasonable to Demand to be Honest. Dont get me Wrong. But there is always only one Option to go. And if WG blocks the Abuse it always comes at the expense of Freedoms of the User. For example. If they offered a Full Refund for Permacamos on this Change. I would Refund all Camos I bought for Ships that later received a Perma Camo from an Event. Because the new System means I get the Bonus regardless of the Camo and can use whatever Camo over it. WG cannot prevent that unless they somehow block me from Refunding. There is no Fix that somehow prevents me from abusing that unless they block me from Refunding. The same is true for Ships that I had Permacamos for that I am simply not using anymore. I could just Refund them and thus effectively I would have been using them for Free all tis time. WG cant prevent that unless they either basicly only Refund a Partial Sum. But that would mean they dont give a Full Refund. Or they deny the Refund etc. This is the Business Part. Not a Videogame System. Its not an Issue of Programming a System that works. You can only offer the Refund or you dont.
  3. For that to happen you would need 2 Prerequisites which are not Fulfilled here. 1. This only works in 1 vs 1 or Set Team vs Set Team. As in WoWs the Teams are Random. You will never Achieve this. Because you always got a Mix of Good and Bad Players. Thus even if the General Quality of Players Increases. You will never actually reach a Point where only Unicums make a Profit. This Cutoff is Decided by WG. if they for Example set the Tipping Point at 48% then Decent Players will never have any Reason to leave the Mode even if they can barely hold a 50% Winrate. As they will still Run a Profit. Only those Players so bad they actively cause losses to their Team will drop below the Threshold. 2. This also only works if the Transition is Forced. But in this case its not. You can Switch between Casual and Competetive at any time freely. Which means you can go back to Casual. Improve your Skills and try again. Likewise you can always take a Break from the high Effort of Carrying and go play some Casual Rounds in between. And especially if you give an Incentive of higher Rewards for Victories. People will be trying to improve and get back into it on regular intervalls. Thanks to that. This will never go all the way as you Describe. It will however indeed mean that Higher Winrates will become Harder to Achieve. Because the Worst Players are Filtered out. And thus you have more Competent Enemies by Default. Which means the Winrate at which you are a Unicum will actually be way lower. Because the amount of Strong Enemies is Bigger. And Carrying a Team becomes Harder because your Personal Influence Drops. So it wont go all the way where you claim. But it will move in that Direction Somewhat. How far is Decided by the Cutoff Point mentioned in Point 1. Effectively. By Setting this Point. WG can Set how bad a Player has to be before being Filtered out. This Point could be super low. Only filtering out People below 40% thus this mode basicly being almost like Randoms. Just with the absolute Worst Players being removed by lack of Income. Or they could actually make it a real Competetive Mode. If they set that Threshold to 55% It will become a Field were only the Best will Continue Competing for Long. Even then it wont go entirely Empty as you say. Cause People will always come back to try again after Playing some Casual Games. (condition 2 not met) But this will vastly reduce the Players Primarily Playing that Mode. Albeit then the Rewards would also need to be Significantly higher. As otherwise Players will leave the Mode simply because even for Good Players Casual Mode Earns more. This is by the way Intended. After all. The Demand is that People want more Competent Players to Play with. This by Default means that your Personal Influence will drop as others are more Competent and thus your own Influence isnt as Big as when most Players are potatoes.
  4. Another few Games in a Sub. Another few Shotgunned DDs and another bunch of Times I got Spammed to Death by BBs and Cruisers launching Airstrike after Airstrike at a Guesstimated Position. Its Ridiculous. Submarines are complete Fodder for BBs now. While DDs are Complete Fodder for Subs.... At this Point Subs basicly need BB Escorts to Cap because otherwise Submarines like me are just gonna Shotgun them out of the Cap....
  5. Yes. I got that. And so I answered. You can also Torp the whole Enemy Team with Shimakaze without ever being remotely in Danger of being Spotted. But its meaningless if by using that Method you dont actually Score any Hits aside from the occassional Potato driving into your Torps due to lack of Brain. What you are tellung here is the Equivalent of CV Players telling DDs that they can avoid being Massacred by Airstrikes if they just seek AA Cover from other Ships. Because Yeah. Sure that works. But it makes them useless because they cannot do anything then. They could also just drive to the Map Border behind that Spawn. Entirely same Effect.

  8. I like Loot Hoarding Mate. I dont have Fun unless my Effort is Rewarded. Its a Basic Human thing to want to be Rewarded. Its why giving out Rewards is common in Games. Taking away the Reward Reduces the Fun most People have dramatically. Because they dont feel Rewarded for their Effort. Progress, Achievement, Appreciation. People want these Jimmies to be Rustled in a Game. And I am not Different. Reward at the End of a Season is already a Better Idea. Since it Rewards the Rank you Achieved. Albeit that would still mean that I am forced to Play Randoms anyways cause otherwise I will run out of Credits and not Level in the Meantime. Sp Sorry Mate. But that Idea of not having Rewards is not gonna Fly except maybe for a Time Limited Event like Ranked right now. Its not gonna do anything to Improve Skill level and Complaints in Randoms because the Skilled Players will still all be Forced to Play Randoms to Grind and thus Potatoes will be Ruining the Gameplay there for them. As I said. Just think about it yourself if you would Play Randoms if it did not give Rewards. Thus not allowing you to get better Ships etc.
  9. Thats Fine. If a Good Player wants to Play Casual and just Farm he can do that. He will get less Rewards than if he Played for Victory in Competetive Mode. But thats his Decision. The Keyword is Reward for Behavior. Competetive Mode will Reward you for Playing to Win. And if you keep losing constantly. Your Rewards will be Crab. Because you get lower Base Income. So its a Mode that will Attract Players that Win more Often by giving them Bigger Rewards. And Pushes away Players that Win rarely because they get less Rewards. Likewise. In Casual Mode. You will get a Decent Reward Easier. So the Casual Players that just want to Play Shooty Shooty Ships. Will be able to just do that there and still get Decent Rewards for their Grind. But getting Big Rewards for Carrying a Game will actually be Lower. Because the Reward Bonus Multiplier for Winning isnt Big there. So if your a Good Player that actually can Win Games for his Team. You will likely be wasting your Time if you Play Seriously in Casual Mode. This way it gives an Incentive to Play accordinging your Skill level and according to wether or not you want to make the effort. It also makes sure that if your a Casual Player who just worked a 10 Hour Shift and Seriously just wants to Press Battle and go Shooty Shooty Ships without worrying about wether or not you are paying attention to every situation change on the map etc. You can do that without some Tryhard Idiot complaining that your Ruining his Game. Cause if he wants to Play Seriously. He should Play Competetive. Likewise. In Tryhard Mode if some Potato plays Crab. You who just put alot of Effort into Carrying this Game will know that this 30% winrate Potato is totally going Bankrupt over time cause he gets little to no Reward in this Mode. And if you Complain to him. You actually got a Leg to Stand on. Because its Competetive Mode and its Supposed to be Played while trying to Win. Well. The Community assumed thats what it was supposed to be. But the Interpretion of Ranked for WG simply seems to be that its an Event of sorts rather than a Gamemode. So it ended up being something entirely different. Yeah No. Because Nobody will Play Ranked then. I Play to Win because it gives Reward. I dont give a Ratsrear about Stats. If Ranked gives no Reward. I will keep Playing Randoms and I will keep constantly Complaining about Potatoes being Crab at the game and ruining it for me. Because why would I play Ranked ? What use is Winning to me if I get nothing for it ? How about we do it the other way around. Random gives no Reward and has no Stats. So people can go play Braindead there. While Ranked Records Stats and gives Rewards. So if you want to get anywhere you have to actually put in Effort. :) You would not be happy with that either right :)
  10. You can do that. But it makes all the Torps come in a Line. And as they lose Target Lock like a km away. Any BB with a Brain can easily Dodge them by slowing down and turning in or out etc depending on where the Torps come from. So thats just as Great as Shima using 20km Torps to randomly spam from behind its BBs. Yeah sure you now and then hit a Potato. But you generally dont achieve much that way. Because any Player with a Brain will evade your Torps easily. Albeit its exactly these Players that often Cry about it. Like a Worcester I just hit with Torps. He was sitting behind an Island Reversing. I launched the Torps before my Torps were even halfway he Damage Conned. I immediately got Spammed by Airstrikes for the Ping. So I had to Dive and could not ping him again. But he didnt even bother going away from his Spot. So the Torps which lost the Target lock but had of course Shifted Course to his Position before. Hit him 5 out of 6. Causing him to Cry about it in Chat. Even tough he could have super easily evaded the Torps.
  11. 1. Wish you Luck there. 2. Well. It depends on Disposable Income and the Timeframe. If you got the Disposable Income to Afford this kind of thing without Worries. Or if its simply a Result of you Spending a little each Year and simply having been Around for so many Years that it added up. Its not that Strange if someone has Spend alot on this Game. I for example also Spend several Thousands of Euros on the Game. But I have also been Registered here 10 Years ago when the Game was Announced. The Reason why People are Surprised in your case is because you are a relatively Recent Player. Which means you Spend that Amount in a comparable Short amount of time. Hence you likely got the Disposable Income to not care so much. 3. Well. Thats a Viewpoint Mate. WG surely does Math there. And that Math is there to make sure that the Bank (which is WG in this case) always Wins. And the Lootboxes are such a Math thing. Because WG knows that the Chances are so Bad that WG will in Average get far more Money out of it than if they Sold the Items directly in the Shop. And at the same Time Sells alot of Items which otherwise would not be Bought in such Numbers as they are used as Consolation Prizes here. The Player then Gambles on getting one of the Big Prizes for less than what he would Pay in the Shop. Or to get one of the Prizes he cant get anywhere else. And of course in most cases the Player will Spend far more than he would otherwise. And will collect a large Number of Consolation Prizes in the Process he would normally never have bought ;) 4. Well. Thats your Decision. After all. Nobody should tell you how to Spend your own Money. I personally always find it weird when one of my Colleagues Freaks out about me Spending 250 Euros on Buying some Pixels or such in a Video Game. When I know that he Throws out nearly 400 Euros each Month to go Drinking and being Bombarded with way too Loud Music which causes me to have Peeping Ears if I go anywhere near that Club/Bar/Pub whatever. In terms of per Euro per Hour Entertainment. I would dare claiming WoWs while being on the Expensive side for a Videogame. Is still way Cheaper than alot of other Options that many People dont seem to Mind at all. ^^
  12. I think we got Bigger Problems. But that aside ^^ The best Solution to this Problem. Would be to Segregate the Casual and the Competetive Playerbase. Basicly. Split Randoms into two Gamemodes. Which work entirely the same in terms of Game and Gamemode Mechanics. And whose Difference is Purely in the Statistics Recording and the Reward Mechanics. 1. Casual Random Mode. In this Mode. There is no Statistics being Recorded. There is no Winrate. No PR or anything like that Recorded here. And. Compared to current Randoms Mode. You get a slightly smaller Modifier for Winning the Game. And a slightly Bigger Modifier for your Base Participation Reward. So getting a decent Reward is Easier. But Winning the Match is not as Importand for your Reward. 2. Competetive Random Mode. In this Mode. Statistics are Fully Recorded. And Statistics from this Mode also cannot be Hidden. Compared to Randoms. There is lower Modifier for Individual Damage Rewards. And a higher Modifier for Winning the Match. So getting a decent Reward is Harder. But Winning the Match can Provide much bigger Rewards.
  13. If we were you. We would not have Spend that Money in the First Place. So we would already need to assume. That you got the Money that you dont mind spending such an amount of this kind of thing. To actually get into that Situation. If we assume that. Then yes. If we were you we might actually spend that money again. But that aside. Its actually nice you bought it to attention. I dont think this result was intended by WG. They likely did not want to give a Disadvantage to the People who Buy alot of their Gambling Lootboxes. So there is an actual Chance that they will add some Sets that if you got no Standard Signals anymore. Just consume an additional Special Signal for a Bigger Boost or something along these Lines.
  14. Overwhelming Majority of Players in this Game dont even know what Situational Awareness is.
  15. 1. Yes. Of course if you are going to go 2km close to it. You can still Shotgun it. At this Range you can hit even without the Ping. 2. Well. Subs got two. The Super Slow Ones with super Short Range which can in Fact do that. But which are really hard to hit anything with cause they cant use the ping and are slow as crab. Or the very Weak ones. Which are faster. Do have Range and can use the Ping. But which wont even manage to get a Schlieffen down. As a Full Salvo of them hitting even with Torpedo Damage Skill and by hitting unsaturated non torpedo protection areas. Will only do about 40-50k Damage. (Which of course never happens because if you hit outside Torp Protection you will Saturate and if you hit on Torp Protection the Damage will be much lower) And mind you. Thats Schlieffen. A Battlecruiser with very little HP for a T10 and the typical horrible German torpedo Protection. Thats if you hit at all. Because thanks to how the Homing Torps work evading them is very easy. And thanks to the Dispersion. If you dont use homing. You will pretty much never hit all Torps unless you Shotgun. Shotgunning against a BB of course meaning you risk being Oneshot and minimum will take Severe damage just from Secondaries. 3. It does. Because they are Area Spam. Yes the Indicator is slightly Randomized the further away the Sub is. But its not like you got Limited Ammo of these Strikes. And now pls Note. You are Pretending there is only Subs like that. How much do you do against a DD without Spotting ? His Torps do 2-3 Times the Damage. He got more of them per Drop. And he has no Indicator for you when dropping them. 4. Yeah. 3 of them on German T10 to be Precise. Given that you need to use it for even Strafe Hits. That basicly means if you are lucky enough to even Survive 3 strikes you dont have it anymore. How many Airstrikes do you have again ? Oh Right. Unlimited. 5. The Bug is that you get 0 Hits with a Perfectly Aimed Strike. If you miss. You miss. Thats not Perfectly Aimed. 6. And Yes. I am sure. I played Subs quite a bit by now. And its not even such a rare thing for these to behave Weirdly. Frankly the Damage Range is Wonky as hell. As often you also dont get any damage at all. But still get Flooding and Fires. (And Oil Leaks....)
  16. With current dispersion you can miss a Broadside BB without Ping. And your Torps are so weak you need 3 Salvos to fully hit. Moreover. You get these Airstrikes for free and with 360 degree instant aim. so even i one misses. More are on the way. Single hit and the Sub will bleed oil showing its position as well as likely flooding. The 0 Hits on Perfect Aim is due to Bugfest by the way. You can just as well miss by miles and it still somehow hits the Sub.... I literally had Depth Charges explode between my Sub and the Camera and got no damage. And other cases where the Depth Charge was so far away it was not even marked anymore. Yet it caused me flooding, fire and oilleak....

    Wont watch the Replay as thats not fixed so far. But as you know he dropped fighters. The Answer is simple. CVs are alerted if their Squadron is Spotted. So if they fly over an area and they dont see a Ship. But get spotted themselves. The CV Player will know a DD or Sub must be close. Also. The planes go 150 knots and more. So whatever spotted them must be somewhere in front as it clearly did mot catch up to them from behind. That way. Even without Spotting you. A CV will usually be able to tell your rough Position. Also. The CV gets a Special Alert if his Ship is spotted. Meaning if you spot him. He knows exactly that a DD or Sub must be close to him. As such he will of course expect Torpedoes to be coming. And will evade preemptively. If you use Sonar Pings. Your Rough location is also reveaked by the way. So if someone is already looking your direction. And you use a Ping. He will know almost exactly where you are even if he does not spot you.
  18. Right now it seems. The Role of Submarines is to basicly Hunt DDs and Contest Caps. They are Basicly DDs which are somewhat Slower. But which are far better at Contesting Cap Points as they can Ignore Radar and Hydro. And which can easily Win Capbrawls against DDs by either Spotting them thus them getting Killed by their Team. Or if they try to Rush the Sub. Shotgunning them out of the Water. At the same time however. Submarines are much worse at Hunting Battleships. Because Battleships are constantly informed of their Position and get Free Spammable Area Attacks against Submarines. So effectively. Submarines are taking away the Role of Cap Brawlers from DDs. And instead force DDs to be BB hunters.
  19. I am in Favor of Subs being in the Game. I like Submarines and wanted them to be added Years ago. But. The Current Iteration of Submarines is utter trash. And I would like to note. The reason I am only calling it Trash is because any actually True description of current Submarines would result in Moderation censoring the Post. Especially after the last Change to Submarines which increased Torpedo Dispersion. The Battleships are now basicly Submarine Hunters. Because at longer Ranges your Dispersion is so Crab that you cant hit them without using the Sonar Ping Mechanic. Which however reveals your Location and results in you being Bombed constantly. Meanwhile Shotgunning DDs has actually become easier because you dont need to Spread Torps manually anymore and can just spam click them. Which spares the Sub time in that Critical moment.... In this Ridiculous Game. Destroyers are Food for Submarines. And I am actually now actively using my Submarine to Contest Capture Points from DDs..... At the same Time. Battleships are DD Hunters and I am basicly not daring to even get close to them because especially if there is several of them. I will constantly be killed by them Spamming Airstrikes at me.
  20. @Seraphice Well. Congratulations. As absolutely everyone Expected. The Change to Submarine Torpedo Angles did absolutely nothing to Fix the Problem with Shotgunning. It did however make Submarines even more reliant on using the Ping Mechanic meaning they are even better Targets for Battleships now. Great Change. Battleships have become even better at ASW and are now even less Attractive a Target for Submarines. Because the Ping allows for an Easy evasion of the Torps. And attacking them makes it even more likely to just be Airstrikes with Depth Charges. Meanwhile. DDs due to that lack of Targets are an even more prefered Target for Submarines. And can still be Shotgunned out of the Water. Arguably even easier than before thanks to the nice Dispersion on the Torps.....

    Thats a very Good Question. And a Question I will be having a very Tight Eye on in Fact. Because right now. A "In Service to the Motherland" Container. Gives 15 Special Signals. And 6 Victory Camos. The First Drop is the Guaranteed 6 Victory Camos. Victory Camo gives +100 % Exp +75 % Captain Exp +50 % Free Exp Since the Conversion Rules state that you get the Equal or Closest Rounded up Bonus from each Bonus the Camp Provides. In the New System that should come out as 6x 100% Exp Bonus. 6x 200% Captain Exp Bonus. 6x 300% Free Exp So one Guaranteed Drop will be these 18 Bonus Cards. The Second Drop is 15 of a Random Special Signal. The Special Signals are Converted by Preset Rules. Dragon +333% commander XP +400% Wyvern +50% credits +50% Red Dragon +100% XP, +100% commander XP +100% +200% +100% Ouroboros +777% free XP +400% Hydra +50% XP, +150% commander XP, +250% Free XP +100% +200% +200% Basilisk +75% XP, +30% credits +100% +100% +40% Scylla +50% XP, +150% commander XP, +25% credits +100% +200% +40% Leviathan +50% XP, +100% commander XP, +200% Free XP, +20% credits +100% +200% +200% +20% These are then Merged to the next Bigger Bonus. This comes out as the Drop then having one of the Following. If there is not enough to reach the next Merge.     1. Account Roleback of course being the Lazy Option for WG which means that all other Progress in the Game also gets Deleted. Therefore meaning that the Palyer has to Sacrifice Weeks of his Spend Time and Progress to use this Offer. Which basicly means. Oh Yeah. Of course you can get back the Money you Gambled away thanks to our little trickery here. But only if you also Agree to us also taking away all your other Progress since that time. 2. Well. Yes. You have Taken Notice. And as usual you completely Ignore it and double Down on your Decision to increase the amount of Gambling. The Negative Feedback we keep giving you. IS THAT WE DO NOT WANT FREAKING GAMBLING. So your Extremely Generous Offer to Sell us 90 Additional Tokens directly. To then Gamble with them. Is not only a pretty Poor Taste Joke. I actually take it as you sticking the Middle Finger up to us.

    Thats actually Fairly Simple by putting your own Statement against you. You yourself made clear. People like CVs because it gives them an Advantage over others. That also means that by default 22 of 24 Players in the Match have less Fun in the Match because they have a Disadvantage. So going by your Logic and your Statements. This is Proof that over 90% of the Players Hate CVs :)

    You made a Claim. As such the Burden of Evidence is on You. If you cannot Provide Evidence for that Claim. Then just Admit its a Rubbish Claim that you made up with no Evidence to back it up. Thats all there is to it.
