    The Dive Bombers are Actually Extremely Good. You lose alot of them. But they also Regenerate fast as crab. And not only do they have a Considerable Fire Chance. But their Damage in itself is also Pretty Good. And if you Start the Attack Early so you Flatten out before you actually Drop. You can even Hunt DDs with them pretty Effectively. The RFs are indeed Weak. And Regenerate Slow on Top. But they are really more of an Aftertought anyways. Yes. The Big One is the Torpedo Bombers. You can very Effectively Hunt Cruisers, You can Force DDs out of Smoke and against BBs you have a high Flooding Chance as well. As you got 3 Full Squadrons to Start with. You also can often Run Torpedo Bombers for most of the Match. As for the AA Nerf. Well my Opinion on this is Likely known by Now. The AA Nerf has been way too heavy. And its really way too easy to massacre people in a CV right now. 1 Average CV is currently worth as much as Division of Good Players in Surface Ships. 1 Good CV can easily Outbalance 2 Full Divisions of Players on the Enemy Team. As actually Defending against a CV properly requires several Players at once. Which is Ridiculous because it means that 1 Player is Invincible unless Countered by Several Players at once.

    Kaga

    Kaga Planes are Supposed to be Shredded. Just Ignore it and keep Bombing. Kaga has Insane Reserves of Planes so she doesnt Care about losing Planes. Kaga is likely the closest you get to Kamikaze in this Game. Just consider your Squadrons Kamikaze Attackers. Find a line of Ships. And then Boost into it Dropping whatever you can while your Planes get Shredded. In T8 I get 2 Drops per Squadron pretty Regular right now. In T10 it can be down to 1 Drop if you got several good AA Ships in the Area of your Drop because Kagas Planes are rather Weak. Took her out for some Money Farming Tonight. And after the AA Nerf in 0.8.7 its become extremely easy to get Results again.

So if you guys pose a Challenge like Dropping a Blob 3 Times with my Haku then you should have an Rough Idea what will happen next Monday when I got some Days off. *gg* In the Meantime I look forward to next week. People like the Amagi. And I guess its a Good Ship. But its absolutely not my Style of Ship unfortunately. With that I wish you a Good Night. Less than 10 Hours before I am off to Work again.... And I would like to take a Shower and make/eat Dinner before I go to Bed. ^^

    Yep. Sorry but Seriously Guys I got Work you know lol. I dont have Unlimited Time at my Hands right now. Unlike Love and Peace I somehow dont think its due to the GZ Planes. The GZ Planes are Indeed Resilent for a T8 CV. But not to the extend of easily Tanking T10-T9 Cruiser AA Dunno lol I dont have the Midway But Yes. I mean with my Haku I was not doing anything different either. (I was evading with Haku tough ^^) So I would assume you should be able to get off 2 Drops relatively Easily like this. With Haku Torpedo Bombers I would likely get off 3. But I havnt Played Haku that much yet. But if you got a Bit of Time for me Next Week. You could Help me level Amagi and Izumo xD Because I am pretty sure your CVs are right now not really doing worse than before :P

    Sigh... I already Finished the CV Directive so I really dont want to. But fine. I.ll look what I can do next Week when I got a few Days Off. Need to Check if I get the Lexi first or just use my Kaga. I somehow Doubt the Result will Change tough.

    Not Really. Havnt Looked if either of you has Tested yet. But I have. And I have Literally Just Flown Straight into the Blob. Dropped Torps. And then Headed for the Next Target. Not even Evading or doing anything. You need 0 Skill for this Right now. Because as I said. Simple Fact is. That Continues AA Damage was Nerfed by 20-40% depending on the Ship. And in Exchange you got 3.5% Instant Damage which nobody cares about. And 10-25% more Sector Reinforcement Damage off of that Lowered Damage. So right now. If you do Sector Reinforcement Right. You get roughly the same Damage you did in 0.8.6 if you did not even use Sector Reinforcement at all. You wont get anything close to what you had with Proper Sector Management in 0.8.6 and Lets not Talk about what you could do with Manual AA. If you do the Math. You find out. AA was Nerfed by about 40% for those who dont use Sector Reinforcement Properly, And by about 10% for those who used it Properly before and use it Properly now. So in Fact. Its a Fully Grown and absolutely Unquestionable NERF.

    Yes. But again. You need 4 Skilled Players to Defeat ONE Average Potato. Imagine it the other way Around. To make a Single Good Attack as a CV you would need 3 of your Teammates to use a Targeting System for your Attack Correctly. Because thats the case right now. You are Dependent on Several Other Players doing the right thing to Defend you. And this will NEVER happen in a Random Team. Well. At least its a Great Time to be Stat Padding my Graf Zeppelin again. Been a while I got such Numbers without any Effort....

    Except there is a very Big Difference there Mate. The Torp Damage only Affects YOU who is a Noob and gets Hit. But the Situation Right now is. That you need 3 other Players to Evade Properly for you to not get Hit by these Torps. Because you alone even if you are doing Perfectly with the Sector Reinforcement. Will not do Crab to a Squadron. Well Maybe thats the Case. Because dont get me Wrong. But a Skilled CV is currently worth more than 2 Skilled Divisions of other Ships. And even an Average CV cant be Stopped by a Skilled Division of other Players. And Mate no Offense. There is not much to Understand here. Base Damage of Continues AA was Nerfed by like 20-40% Sector Reinforcement was Increased from 25% to 35% Bonus Damage or for Cruisers to 50% Bonus Damage. And in addition you get Staggering 3.5% Instant Damage. OH MY GAWD. 3.5% is basicly 1/3 of the HP of ONE of my Torpedo Bombers.... And its done to a freaking Random Plane. So there is a 33% chance it wont matter at all cause it will leave with the Dropping Wing. And for most of the time it wont even Matter.... Well. First off. Increase the Laughable Instant Damage. 3.5 is a Joke when even with my Weakest T10 Squadron on Graf Zeppelin I can take 5-10% of the HP of a Freaking Kremlin... But more Importandly. Make the AA Increase Strong enough. That if the Player is doing it right. It will at least actually prevent a Second Drop. Right now the Nerf to Base AA is so Strong that even if you do everything right you will barely come close to the Damage someone did in 0.8.6 when he didnt do anything. Easiest 120k Damage for my T8 CV in a T10 Game in the whole last Month.... And oh dont Worry. In case you dont know me you can Bet that I am going to Bomb whatever I find including Minos etc. Dont even need a T10 CV for that Right now. T8 CV is Completely Sufficient to Massacre any Ship in the Game that is not another CV. Harder my Rear.

    Yes. And thats why you cant consider CVs Balanced when your reliant on having several skilled Player just to counter one CVs Attacks. A Skilled Player has to be able to severely limit the Damage he takes from a CV. If you need 3-4 Players which on top need to be skilled to limit an Attack of 1 Player which is fine being Average. Then this is not Balanced. Even in 0.8.6 a CV was worth 2-3 Random Players. Now he is back to being worth 6-7 Randoms.... We are Back to a Point where a Good CV has more Influence on the Match than a Full Division of Good Players without CV.

    Thats the Problem tough. A Single Ships AA is useless. And even a Blob is useless unless ALL of them are doing proper management of Sectors. It takes a Coordinated Effort of 4 Ships to LIMIT the Damage I deal with a Single Squadron. Thats not Balanced Sorry. Well. This CV Potato here is having Similar Experiences tough. I flew over several Blobs were normally I could kiss the Squad Goodbye. But instead I took barely any Damage. If you got 3-4 Ships in a Blob which all use Sector Reinforcement Correctly. You take quite a bit Damage. But 1 or 2 Ships do next to nothing. And lets face it. If you need 4 Good Players to Counter 1 Enemy Player of Average Skill. Then this is not Balanced. The Continues AA was Nerfed quite Hard. So even with Sector Reinforcement going 100% Correct. You deal less Damage than in 0.8.6 with Standard 25% Sector facing in right Direction for First Attack. I am not Joking. It feels like 0.8.3

    Ich hätte Langsdorf bevorzugt. Nicht zuletzt weil es für Langsdorf sinn gemacht hätte die Sekundär Bewaffnungs Skills zu Buffen. Da er auf der Graf Spee die Sekundär Bewaffnung sehr Gezielt genutzt hat. Bei Lütjens bin Ich aktuell nicht Sicher was sie ihm an Skills geben werden. Lütjens hatte so einige Kommandos über die Jahre. Aber herausragende Fähigkeiten die einen Spezial Skill rechtfertigen hatte er nicht wirklich. Ich hoffe das es was Vernünftiges ist.

    At Gamescom They Talked about this. And the Top Speed will be the same Submerged and at Surface. They said it would not be Fun if the Submarine cant reach anywhere on the Map. However. Submarines Speed is by Default only about 3/4 of what DDs of Equal Tier have. With way worse Acceleration and Maneuverability. And while you can Reach Top Speed regardless of which Depth you are at. Changing your Depth each Time Drops your Speed to almost Zero making you almost Stationary for a Moment. Edit: Well in the Meantime this is just Great. CVs are back to being Ridiculously Overpowered and Overplayed.... Matchmaker cant find enough Surface Ships to make Proper Games for CVs anymore. Guess we will be getting back to Double T8 CVs again by Tomorrow...... With just 3 Games It was Pretty obvious how Ridiculously Overpowered CVs are now again. WG Nerfed the Continues AA Damage so Ridiculously much that its basicly useless. Unless you have 3-4 Ships in a Blob which all properly use the Burst Damage and Sector Reinforcement. You are now basicly Helpless fodder for CVs. I can easily get 2-3 Strikes against a Target with each Squadron now. Because many Players dont know how to use the Burst. And the few who do know how to use it just dont make anywhere near enough Damage to matter thanks to the massive AA Nerf. Its basicly back to 0.8.3 I am back to being Death itself in a CV. I take my CV out. Go look which Targets are Nice and Juicy. And then I take whatever I want from the all you can Eat Buffet because the Enemy cant do Jackshit about it.... Add to that the Faster Immunity of Retreating Aircraft and you notice that basicly I can now go ahead and Just bomb the Crab out of everything and everyone without a care in the World. Because even if I keep Dropping Bombs into a Massive Blob I get most of my Aircraft back.... And here the Game was Finally Fun again in 0.8.6 Leave it to WG to have a Good Idea and then Completely Ruin it by Nerfing the Idea into the Ground.... Guess all the CV Noobs which Cried because they couldnt just massacre everyone without any Skills anymore are having a Field Day Now that they have gotten their Godmode back.

    Oh. Hahahahah ^^ I see. Thats Stupid on my Side I guess ^^ And Yeah. I assume against Bots this is Horror right now. Bots are pretty Stupid. They just Charge Forward into Battle. But this also means they basicly stick together as a Blob. And since they will use the Skills on Automatic they will pretty much always use it instantly. Its honestly said logical that the Bots would use this kind of System alot more Effectively than Players. But its also Hilarious seriously. However. Rather than Returning to the Old System which would Screw over PvP Matches again. The most Logical Step in this case would be to Remove this Skill from Bots or to make the usage of the Skill on Bots less Common. So the CV is not Instantly Spammed by 4-5 AA Bursts whenever he gets in Range of the Blob. After all in Coop the CV has very little time to actually get Hits on Enemy Ships before his Teammates sink them.

    I See. Well. I checked the Video and its True that the Sub did Proxy Spot the DD. I didnt know that and Unfortunately WG did not Comment on this being Intended or not. So I guess we cant tell wether this will be how they turn up later on. I did note tough that Subs seem to be going way less than 30 knots at all times. And while they dont get Reduced Speed Submerged currently. The Dive Itself Slows em down to almost a Standstill before they can Accelerate again. I also noticed the Homing Torpedoes didnt actually even follow enough to keep up with a DD just going sideways 6km away lol This will be a Killer for many Players. As most Players are Trained to Bow in on Torpedoes which makes you a Super easy Target for the Sonar Ping and the Guided Torpedo. While just Going Broadside seems to actually throw off the Homing entirely xD But to come back a bit on the Actual Topic. Judging from the Gamescom Stream at least. Submarines will be entirely Useless against CVs unfortunately. Their Oxygen Supply is really Small. They can basicly Stay in Dive for just 3-4 Minutes in the Stream. With the 20-25 Knots they make. Thats nowhere near enough to actually reach a CV.

    Aye. I only did One Game so far. (I am just Completely Stomped with Work right now.) But Yes. This Feels like a Huge Buff right now. Out of all the Ships I attacked that Game. Only 2 or 3 even used the AA Burst. Others I either didnt notice due to fairly low Damage or they didnt use it. And General AA Power has Decreased quite a bit as People cant just Focus the Sector in General Enemy Direction. As for the Submarine. In the Gamescom Stream they said that a Submarine is entirely Blind when going Deep Dive. So basicly Surfaced Full Spotting Periscope Depth Reduced Spotting Deep Dive No Spotting. Have I missed something ???? Sorry. As I said. I am just Completely Stumped with Work this Week. So I barely watched the Stream at my Smartphone. Even on the Video you Posted I have not yet been able to Properly Check it because I was mostly on my Phone and not my PC..... So I am really not keeping up with the Developments right now. Erm. Not to Offend you Mate. But Do you actually have any Post Rework Carriers ? Because your Profile is Public. And I cant find any CV Games after the Rework.
  19. 1. At Periscope Depth it will be vulnearble to Hydro and Artillery. Fully Submerged its Spotting Range is 0. It wont Spot you even if it goes right under you. 2. Mate. It was a Gamescom Build. Stop overthinking it. 3. It Matters alot. Because you have 12k HP and not only will the Enemy know your Position but he will know a Torpedo is coming. And Torpedoes are only Semi Homing. They only make slight Course Corrections. They wont Follow you if you evade enough. 4. 12k HP Matters alot. Because your Position is revealed as a Smoke Sized Circle. Meaning a ton of Random Shots can Rain on you. And with 12k HP thats very Dangerous. If you Torp from 15km away you are unlikely to be hit. But lets face it. By the Time your Torp reaches my old Position I am long gone because I will just increase Distance by 3km after the Ping. Nah. That would make Subs useless. If they cant Stealth Torp at all. It would be next to impossible to Play a Sub as anything but a Long Range Torpedo Turret. That would not be Fun at all.
  20. Right now we only got a scrambled Gamescom Build. Nothing remotely close to actual Gameplay Values. And No. Semi Homing. They clearly said they will only do Small Corrections. They will not Follow you around. :) Homing would mean even if they miss they come back for you. Right now they are more like Guided Torpedoes. 1. It will. Because if Sub goes Fully Submerged it cant see anything and its time limited. It becomes harmless. 2. Unlikely. Because again. I doubt they will stay this fast underwater. 3. Mate no Offense. But to bring a Homing Torpedo he has to be Periscooe Depth. And you get his Ping Warning. Actually I will play Subs. And likely I wont use the Ping. Just Torp normally. Because giving away my position for homing effect is just ridiculous with 12k hp lol
  21. Well. That goes for any DD with good Concealment tough. My Kagero has 5.4km. So I usually wont Fire Guns at anyone unless I am forced to. And will stick to Stealth Torpedo. And unlike a Sub which underwater will likely not even do 20 knots. I can actually outrun and kite most other DDs for several minutes without being spotted. But most all. I am hoping that this will Buff German Ships a bit and give them some Life in the current Meta which left em dead behind. Because Hydro Detecting Torpedoes and Subs will be quite the Weapon against Subs. Especially German Cruisers like Roon with the 6km Hydro. Will be a Horror for any Submarine Captain as it renders the Detection advantage of going to Periscope depth entirely meaningless :)

    Thinking about this. The Radio Detection Skill will be Insanely Powerful here. As it Shows you the Direction of the closest Enemy Ship. You will be able to tell pretty well where a Submarine is. Guess if you want to Hunt Subs. It will be a must have.
  23. Actually no it Doesnt. I watched that part of the Stream. The First Ping makes the Torpedo Semi Homing. It will Adjust Course "Somewhat" to Hit the Target. The Second Ping will only Increase the Damage :) A DD will likely Still be able to Dodge Torpedoes. Especially when he goes Straight for the Submarine. As for being Exposed. That counts for the Submarine as well. If it stay on Periscope after being Spotted. It will be Fired upon by the Team of the DD as well. And the Submarine with its 12k HP going at 12 Knots is way way easier to Hit than the DD with his 20k HP driving around at 30+ Knots. So the DD does not need to Fire really.
  24. Hmm. Mind telling me the Time in the Video ? Cause when I watched the Video. The Depth Charges were Triggered by Driving over a Sort of Capture Circle based on the Submarines Expected Position :) But I only had the Video running the Background. So I have not seen every Single Part.
  25. Thats Factually Wrong. Because Rewards are Given out based on Percentage of Enemy Hull. So Subs will be Incredible High Value Targets. For those who dont know. Your Reward is Decided based on how much Percent of the Enemies Hull you Deplete. So Doing 5k Damage against a DD that has 15k HP Total. Will Earn you the same Exp as doing 20k Damage on a BB that has 60k HP. And any Kill will give you a Reward Equal to 25% of Damage on a Ship. So Hunting that Submarine and Killing it. Will give exactly the same Reward as Hunting a Battleship and Sinking it. The 60k Damage you did on the BB to Sink it. Earns you exactly the same Reward as the 12k HP you did on the Submarine to Sink it.
